Песма поклоничка.
1У невољи Господа сам звао
и он ми се одазвао.
2О, Господе, избави ми душу
од лажљивих усана
и језика превртљивог!
3Шта ли ће се теби дати,
шта ће ти се надодати,
о, језиче превртљиви?
4Јунакове оштре стреле
са смрекином жеравицом!
5Јао мени!
Ја сам дошљак код Месеха,
у кедарским шаторима живим.
6Предуго сам боравио
са онима што мир мрзе.
7Ја сам миру предан,
али чим бих да говорим,
они би да заратe.
