Псалам 106
1Славите Господа!
Хвалите Господа јер је добар,
јер је милост његова довека.
2Ко ће да искаже силна Господња дела,
да му сву славу разгласи?
3Благо онима што се држе правде,
онима што увек поступају праведно.
4Сети ме се, о, Господе,
када си милостив свом народу;
у спасењу своме
и мене се сети;
5да видим напредак твојих изабраних,
да се радујем у радости народа твога
и хвалим се са твојим наследством.
6Згрешили смо као преци наши;
учинили смо неправду, скривили смо!
7Наши преци у Египту нису разумели чудеса твоја,
нису спомињали твоју велику милост,
па су се побунили крај мора,
крај Црвеног мора.
8А он их је избавио зарад свог имена,
да би силу своју показао.
9Запретио је Црвеном мору
и оно је пресушило,
па их је водио дубинама
као по пустињи.
10Спасао их је од руке мрзитеља,
откупио из руке душмана.
11И воде су преплавиле њихове крвнике,
нико од њих преостао није.
12Тада су поверовали његовим речима
и певали му хвалоспеве.
13Али брзо су му дела заборавили,
на савет његов чекали нису.
14У пустињи их спопаде жудња,
у пустари су искушавали Бога.
15И он је дао како су тражили,
али им је душе разболео.
16У табору су завидели Мојсију и Арону,
свецу Господњем.
17На то се земља распукла,
прогутала је Датана
и затрпала Авиронову дружину.
18Букнула је ватра у дружини,
сукнуо је пламен на злобнике.
19На Хориву излили су теле,
клањали се ливеном идолу;
20заменули су Славу своју
за лик вола који пасе траву!
21Заборавили су Бога, свог избавитеља,
који је у Египту велика учинио дела;
22чудеса у Хамовој земљи
и страхоте на Црвеном мору.
23Рекао је да би их истребио,
да његов изабраник Мојсије
није стао пред њега у процеп,
и одвратио његов разорни гнев.
24Презрели су земљу милу
и нису веровали његовој речи.
25Гунђали су у својим шаторима
и глас Господњи слушали нису.
26А он им се заклео
да ће их побити у пустињи;
27да ће им побити децу међу народима
и раселити по земљама.
28Али они су се приклонили Вал-Фегору
и јели жртве за мртве.
29Својим су га поступцима на гнев изазвали
па је пошаст букнула међу њима.
30Али устао је Финес да посредује
и пошаст је стала.
31То му се урачунало као праведност
кроз сва поколења, довека.
32Гневили су га и на водама Мериве,
па је и Мојсије због њих настрадао;
33јер су му дух раздражили
па је непромишљено говорио уснама својим.
34Нису истребили народе
за које им је Господ заповедио.
35Помешали су се с народима,
навикнули на њихова дела.
36Служили су њиховим идолима
и они су им постали замка.
37Жртвовали су своје синове
и своје ћерке злодусима.
38Проливали су невину крв,
крв својих синова и својих ћерки
које су жртвовали идолима Ханана;
крвљу су опоганили земљу.
39Оскрнавили су се делима својим,
одали се блуду поступцима својим.
40Тада је плануо гнев Господњи на његов народ,
згадило му се његово наследство.
41Предавао их је у руке народа
па су над њима владали они што их мрзе;
42тлачили их њихови душмани,
понизили под њиховом влашћу.
43Много пута их је избављао,
али су били бунтовних намера,
па су пропадали у својим кривицама.
44Али он би их погледао у њиховој муци,
чуо би им преклињање;
45па се због њих подсетио свог савеза
и сажалио по великој милости својој.
46Чак је учинио да им се смилују
сви тлачитељи њихови.
47Спаси нас, Господе, Боже наш,
скупи нас од народа,
да хвалимо твоје свето име,
да се дичимо твојом славом.
48Благословен да је Господ, Бог Израиљев,
од века до века.
И сав народ нека каже:
„Амин.“
Славите Господа!
1Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.106.1 Praise…: Heb. Hallelujah
2Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?
3Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
8Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
10And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:106.13 They soon…: Heb. They made haste, they forgat
14But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.106.14 lusted…: Heb. lusted a lust
15And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
17The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
23Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
24Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:106.24 the pleasant…: Heb. a land of desire
25But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:106.26 to overthrow: Heb. to make them fall
27To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.106.27 To overthrow: Heb. To make them fall
28They joined themselves also unto Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
30Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
31And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
32They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
34They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
35But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.106.43 brought…: or, impoverished, or, weakened
44Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
47Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.106.48 Praise…: Heb. Hallelujah
