Псалам 104
1Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа!
О, Господе, о, мој Боже, ти си од свих већи;
оденут си и сјајем и славом!
2Светлошћу је као плаштом заогрнут,
као шатор простиреш небеса.
3Греде горњих одаја својих у воде полаже,
облаке у кочије своје преже,
на крилима ветра језди.
4Он своје анђеле чини ветровима,
и своје слуге огњеним пламеновима.
5Он је земљу поставио на њене темеље,
у веке векова неће се помаћи.
6Дубинама си је покрио као покривачем,
а воде су јој биле над горама.
7Повлаче се од прекора твога,
одтекле су од тутњаве грома твога –
8када су се горе дигле и долине слегле –
тамо где си им и одредио место;
9не прелазе међу што си им ставио,
вратити се неће да земљу прекрију.
10Ти изворе шаљеш долинама
да потеку међу планинама.
11Они поје сваку пољску зверку
и жеђ гасе дивљим магарцима.
12Небеске се птице крај њих гнезде
и певају у растињу.
13Из горњих одаја својих натапаш горе
и земља је пуна плода дела твојих.
14Ти чиниш да за стоку трава расте,
биље што га човек обрађује,
да би земља уродила хлебом;
15и вино што човеку разгаљује срце,
уље што лице озари
и хлеб што храни човеку срце.
16Господња су стабла наливена,
кедрови што их је усадио на Ливану;
17на њима се птице гнезде,
у чемпресима рода им се скући.
18На високим горама живе дивокозе,
а камењари даманима уточиште дају.
19Он је месец начинио да се мери време,
а и сунце зна када да зађе.
20Ти спушташ таму и ноћ бива,
па измиле све шумске живуљке.
21Лавови за пленом ричу
тражећи од Бога за себе храну.
22Кад сунце заруди
они се окупе у јазбини својој и лежу.
23А човек иде за послом својим
и ради до вечери.
24О, Господе, како је много дела твојих!
Свако си од њих учинио мудро
и твојих је створења пуна земља!
25Ено мора, великог и широких обала,
врве од безбројних створења,
животиња малих и великих;
26По њему бродови броде
и Левијатан104,26 Не зна се тачно значење ове речи. Преводи се као кит, крокодил, или морска неман. кога си начинио у њему игра.
27Сви они чекају тебе
да им на време даш оно што једу.
28Ти им дајеш
и они то сакупе;
ти отвараш руку своју
и они су сити добра.
29Кад сакријеш лице своје
они се препадну;
кад им узмеш дах, они скапавају
и поново иду у прашину.
30Кад им пошаљеш свој дах они настају;
ти обнављаш лице земље.
31Нек довека буде слава Господња!
Нек делима својим радује се Господ!
32Он у земљу гледа и она се тресе;
он дотиче горе и оне се диме.
33Кроз свој живот певаћу Господу,
док ме има Бога мога прослављаћу!
34Угодне му биле мисли моје,
а ја ћу да се радујем у Господу.
35Нек грешници нестану са земље
и злобника нека више нема!
Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа!

1Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
2Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
3Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
4Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

6Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
8They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.104.8 They go up…: or, The mountains ascend, the valleys descend
9Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.104.10 He: Heb. Who104.10 run: Heb. walk
11They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.104.11 quench: Heb. break
12By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.104.12 sing: Heb. give a voice
13He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.104.15 oil…: Heb. to make his face shine with oil, or, more than oil
16The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
18The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
19He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.104.20 beasts…: Heb. beasts thereof do trample on the forest
21The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
22The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
23Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
24O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.104.26 made: Heb. formed
27These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
28That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
29Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
30Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.104.31 endure: Heb. be
32He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
33I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
35Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
