Псалом 128
1Песнь восхождения.
Много раз притесняли128:1 Или: «причиняли страдания». Также в ст. 2. меня с юности, –
пусть скажет Израиль, –
2много раз притесняли меня с юности,
но не одолели.
3На спине моей пахали пахари,
проводили свои длинные борозды.
4Господь праведен:
Он разрубил узы нечестивых.
5Пусть постыдятся и повернут назад
все ненавидящие Сион.
6Пусть будут они как трава на крыше дома,
которая высыхает прежде чем будет вырвана.
7Жнец не наполнит ею руки своей,
и вяжущий снопы не соберет ее в пригоршни.
8Проходящие мимо не скажут:
«Благословение Господне на вас!
Благословляем вас именем Господним».

A song for those who go up to Jerusalem to worship the Lord.
1Blessed are all those who have respect for the Lord.
They live as he wants them to live.
2Your work will give you what you need.
Blessings and good things will come to you.
3As a vine bears a lot of fruit,
so may your wife have many children by you.
May they sit around your table
like young olive trees.
4Only a man who has respect for the Lord
will be blessed like that.
5May the Lord bless you from Zion.
May you enjoy the good things that come to Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
6May you live to see your grandchildren.
May Israel enjoy peace.
