Psalm 130
A song of ascents.
1Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
2Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.
3If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
Lord, who could stand?
4But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
6I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
8He himself will redeem Israel
from all their sins.

O cântare de pelerinaj
1Din adâncuri strig, Doamne!
2Stăpâne, ascultă glasul meu!
Fie urechile Tale cu luare-aminte
la glasul cererilor mele!
3Dacă Tu, Doamne, ai păstra aducerea aminte a nelegiuirilor,
cine ar putea sta în picioare, Stăpâne?
4Dar la Tine este iertarea,
ca astfel să fii de temut.
5Îl aștept pe Domnul.
Sufletul meu așteaptă
și nădăjduiește în Cuvântul Lui.
6Sufletul meu Îl așteaptă pe Stăpânul
mai mult decât așteaptă străjerii dimineața,
da, mai mult decât așteaptă străjerii dimineața.
7Israel, nădăjduiește în Domnul,
căci îndurarea este a Domnului
și la El găsim belșug de răscumpărare.
8El îl răscumpără pe Israel
din toate nelegiuirile lui.
