The appointed festivals
1The Lord said to Moses, 2‘Speak to the Israelites and say to them: “These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.
The Sabbath
3‘ “There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the Lord.
The Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread
4‘ “These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times: 5the Lord’s Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. 6On the fifteenth day of that month the Lord’s Festival of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast. 7On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do not do any of your ordinary work. 8For seven days present a food offering to the Lord. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do not do any of your ordinary work.” ’
Offering the Firstfruits
9The Lord said to Moses, 10‘Speak to the Israelites and say to them: “When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest. 11He is to wave the sheaf before the Lord so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath. 12On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the Lord a lamb a year old without defect, 13together with its grain offering of one-fifth of an ephah23:13 That is, probably about 3.2 kilograms; also in verse 17 of the finest flour mixed with olive oil – a food offering presented to the Lord, a pleasing aroma – and its drink offering of a quarter of a hin23:13 That is, about 1 litre of wine. 14You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.
The Festival of Weeks
15‘ “From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count seven full weeks. 16Count fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord. 17From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of one-fifth of an ephah of the finest flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the Lord. 18Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the Lord, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings – a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 19Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering23:19 Or purification offering and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering. 20The priest is to wave the two lambs before the Lord as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the Lord for the priest. 21On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly and not do any ordinary work. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.
22‘ “When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.” ’
The Festival of Trumpets
23The Lord said to Moses, 24‘Say to the Israelites: “On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. 25Do not do any of your ordinary work, but present a food offering to the Lord.” ’
The Day of Atonement
26The Lord said to Moses, 27‘The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves,23:27 Or and fast; similarly in verses 29 and 32 and present a food offering to the Lord. 28Do not do any work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the Lord your God. 29Those who do not deny themselves on that day must be cut off from their people. 30I will destroy from among their people anyone who does any work on that day. 31You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live. 32It is a day of sabbath rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath.’
The Festival of Tabernacles
33The Lord said to Moses, 34‘Say to the Israelites: “On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the Lord’s Festival of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days. 35The first day is a sacred assembly; do not do any of your ordinary work. 36For seven days present food offerings to the Lord, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present a food offering to the Lord. It is the closing special assembly; do not do any of your ordinary work.
37(‘ “These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing food offerings to the Lord – the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings required for each day. 38These offerings are in addition to those for the Lord’s Sabbaths and23:38 Or These festivals are in addition to the Lord’s Sabbaths, and these offerings are in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings you give to the Lord.)
39‘ “So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the Lord for seven days; the first day is a day of sabbath rest, and the eighth day also is a day of sabbath rest. 40On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees – from palms, willows and other leafy trees – and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days. 41Celebrate this as a festival to the Lord for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. 42Live in temporary shelters for seven days: all native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters 43so that your descendants will know that I made the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” ’
44So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed festivals of the Lord.

5«Праздник, установленный Вечным в память выхода из Египта, начинается вечером в четырнадцатый день первого месяца (в начале весны). 6На следующий день после праздника Освобождения начинается праздник Пресных хлебов, установленный Вечным; семь дней ешьте пресный хлеб. 7В первый день созывайте священное собрание и не занимайтесь ничем из обычных дел. 8Семь дней приносите Вечному огненные жертвы, а на седьмой день созывайте священное собрание и не занимайтесь ничем из обычных дел».
Приношение первого снопа
9Вечный сказал Мусо:
10– Говори с исроильтянами и скажи им: «Когда вы войдёте в землю, которую Я отдаю вам, и соберёте на ней урожай23:10 Первым собирали ячмень, соответственно первый урожай ячменя приносили во время праздника Пресных хлебов., то принесите к священнослужителю первый сноп собранного зерна. 11Пусть он потрясёт сноп перед Вечным, чтобы он был принят вам во благо. Пусть священнослужитель потрясёт его в день, который следует за субботой. 12В день, когда вы будете потрясать сноп, принесите Вечному во всесожжение годовалого ягнёнка без изъяна 13с хлебным приношением – три килограмма23:13 Букв.: «две десятых ефы», также в ст. 17 и 24:5. лучшей муки, смешанной с маслом, и жертвенное возлияние из одного литра23:13 Букв.: «четверть гина». вина – это огненная жертва Вечному, приятное благоухание. 14До этого самого дня, до того, как принесёте вашему Богу это приношение, не ешьте ни хлеба, ни жареного зерна, ни сырого. Это вечное установление для грядущих поколений, где бы вы ни жили».
Праздник Жатвы
(Чис. 28:26-31; Втор. 16:9-12)
15«От дня, следующего за субботой, дня, когда вы принесли сноп в приношение потрясания, отсчитайте семь полных недель. 16Отсчитайте пятьдесят дней до дня, который идёт за седьмой субботой, и принесите Вечному приношение из нового урожая23:16 Последней собирали пшеницу, соответственно первый урожай пшеницы приносили во время праздника Жатвы.. 17Отовсюду, где бы вы ни жили, приносите Вечному как приношение потрясания, как первые плоды, два хлеба, сделанные из трёх килограммов лучшей муки и испечённые с закваской. 18Приносите с этим хлебом семь годовалых ягнят без изъяна, одного молодого быка и двух баранов. Они будут всесожжением Вечному вместе с хлебными приношениями и жертвенными возлияниями – огненная жертва, благоухание, приятное Вечному. 19Приносите одного козла в жертву за грех и двух годовалых ягнят в жертву примирения. 20Пусть священнослужитель потрясёт двух ягнят вместе с хлебом первых плодов перед Вечным как приношение потрясания. Это священное приношение Вечному для священнослужителя. 21В тот же день созовите священное собрание и не занимайтесь ничем из обычных дел. Это вечное установление для грядущих поколений, где бы вы ни жили.
22Когда вы будете жать на вашей земле урожай, не дожинайте до края поля и не подбирайте остатков жатвы. Оставляйте их бедным и чужеземцам. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог».
Праздник Труб
(Чис. 29:1-6)
23Вечный сказал Мусо:
24– Скажи исроильтянам: «В первый день седьмого месяца (в начале осени) пусть у вас будет праздничный покой, священное собрание, возвещаемое звуками труб. 25Не занимайтесь ничем из обычных дел; приносите Вечному огненные жертвы».
День очищения
(Чис. 29:7-11)
26Вечный сказал Мусо:
27– В десятый день того же седьмого месяца будет День очищения. Созывайте священное собрание, смиряйте себя постом23:27 Букв.: «смиряйте себя». Это включало в себя пост, но не ограничивалось им; также в ст. 29 и 32. и приносите Вечному огненную жертву. 28Не занимайтесь в этот день никакими делами, потому что это День очищения, когда совершается очищение для вас перед Вечным, вашим Богом. 29Всякий, кто в тот день не станет смирять себя, будет искоренён из своего народа. 30Я искореню из народа любого, кто будет заниматься делами в течение всего этого дня. 31Не занимайтесь никакими делами. Это вечное установление для грядущих поколений, где бы вы ни жили. 32Для вас это суббота полного покоя, и вы должны смирять себя. С вечера девятого дня месяца до вечера следующего дня храните вашу субботу.
Праздник Шалашей
(Чис. 29:12-39; Втор. 16:13-17)
33Вечный сказал Мусо:
34– Скажи исроильтянам: «В пятнадцатый день седьмого месяца начинается праздник Шалашей в честь Вечного. Он длится семь дней. 35Первый день – это священное собрание; не занимайтесь ничем из обычных дел. 36Семь дней приносите Вечному огненные жертвы, а на восьмой созывайте священное собрание и приносите Вечному огненную жертву. Это последнее праздничное собрание; не занимайтесь ничем из обычных дел.
37(Таковы постоянные праздники Вечного, когда вы должны созывать священные собрания, чтобы приносить Вечному огненные жертвы – всесожжения с хлебными приношениями и жертвы с возлиянием – каждую в свой день. 38Эти праздники не входят в число суббот Вечного, а эти приношения в число ваших даров, всех жертв по обету и добровольных приношений, которые вы даёте Вечному.)
39Итак, начиная с пятнадцатого дня седьмого месяца, собрав с земли урожай, семь дней отмечайте праздник в честь Вечного. Первый день – это день праздничного покоя, и восьмой день – день праздничного покоя. 40В первый день возьмите лучшие плоды с деревьев и пальмовые ветви, ветви лиственных деревьев и речных ив и веселитесь перед Вечным, вашим Богом, семь дней. 41Празднуйте в честь Вечного этот праздник семь дней каждый год. Это установление для грядущих поколений будет вечным. Празднуйте его в седьмом месяце. 42Живите в шалашах семь дней: пусть все уроженцы Исроила живут в шалашах, 43чтобы ваши потомки знали, что Я поселил исроильтян в шалашах, когда Я вывел их из Египта. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог».
44Мусо объявил исроильтянам о постоянных праздниках Вечного.
