The altar of burnt offering
1‘Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits27:1 That is, about 1.4 metres high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.27:1 That is, about 2.3 metres long and wide 2Make a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze. 3Make all its utensils of bronze – its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans. 4Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network. 5Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar. 6Make poles of acacia wood for the altar and overlay them with bronze. 7The poles are to be inserted into the rings so they will be on two sides of the altar when it is carried. 8Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown on the mountain.
The courtyard
9‘Make a courtyard for the tabernacle. The south side shall be a hundred cubits27:9 That is, about 45 metres; also in verse 11 long and is to have curtains of finely twisted linen, 10with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts. 11The north side shall also be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.
12‘The west end of the courtyard shall be fifty cubits27:12 That is, about 23 metres; also in verse 13 wide and have curtains, with ten posts and ten bases. 13On the east end, towards the sunrise, the courtyard shall also be fifty cubits wide. 14Curtains fifteen cubits27:14 That is, about 6.8 metres; also in verse 15 long are to be on one side of the entrance, with three posts and three bases, 15and curtains fifteen cubits long are to be on the other side, with three posts and three bases.
16‘For the entrance to the courtyard, provide a curtain twenty cubits27:16 That is, about 9 metres long, of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen – the work of an embroiderer – with four posts and four bases. 17All the posts around the courtyard are to have silver bands and hooks, and bronze bases. 18The courtyard shall be a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide,27:18 That is, about 45 metres long and 23 metres wide with curtains of finely twisted linen five cubits27:18 That is, about 2.3 metres high, and with bronze bases. 19All the other articles used in the service of the tabernacle, whatever their function, including all the tent pegs for it and those for the courtyard, are to be of bronze.
Oil for the lampstand
20‘Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning. 21In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.

1“너는 아카시아나무로 단을 만들어라. 가로 세로를 각각 2.3미터로 하여 네모 반듯하게 하고 높이는 1.4미터로 하라.
2그리고 단 네 모퉁이에 뿔을 하나씩 만들어라. 뿔과 단은 하나로 연결하여 만들고 그 단은 놋으로 싸야 한다.
3또 재를 담는 통과 부삽과 피를 담는 그릇과 고기 갈고리와 불 옮기는 그릇을 다 놋으로 만들어라.
4놋으로 단에 쓸 그물을 만들고 그물 네 모퉁이에 놋고리를 만들어
5그 그물을 단의 아래 언저리 밑에 놓아 그것이 단의 절반 높이로 올라오게 하라.
6그리고 아카시아나무로 단의 운반채를 만들어 놋으로 싸고
7단의 양쪽 고리에 그 채를 꿰어 단을 운반할 수 있게 하라.
8그 단은 내가 산에서 너에게 보여 준 양식에 따라 널빤지로 속이 비게 만들어야 한다.”
성막 뜰
9“너는 고운 모시 포장을 둘러 성막 뜰을 만들어라. 남쪽에는 포장 길이를 45미터로 하고
1020개의 기둥을 만들어 세워라. 그 기둥의 받침은 놋으로 만들고 기둥 갈고리와 가로대는 은으로 만들어야 한다.
11맞은편인 북쪽에도 이와 똑같이 만들고
12서쪽에는 포장 길이를 22.5미터로 하고 10개의 기둥을 10개의 놋받침 위에 세워라.
13그리고 출입구를 낼 뜰 동쪽 길이도 22.5미터로 하라.
14-15출입구 양쪽에는 각각 3개의 기둥과 받침으로 6.8미터 길이의 포장을 쳐라.
16그리고 뜰 출입구는 청색, 자색, 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 수놓아 짠 9미터 길이의 막으로 만들어라. 이 출입구는 4개의 기둥과 4개의 받침으로 만들어야 한다.
17뜰 사면의 모든 기둥은 은갈고리와 은가로대로 연결하고 그 기둥 받침은 놋으로 만들어라.
18성막 뜰의 길이는 45미터이고 너비는 22.5미터이며 포장의 높이는 2.3미터이다. 성막 뜰의 포장은 고운 모시로 만들고 기둥 받침은 놋으로 만들며
19성막에서 쓰는 모든 기구와 성막 말뚝과 포장의 말뚝도 다 놋으로 만들어라.”
등불 관리
20“너는 이스라엘 백성에게 감람을 찧어 만든 맑은 기름을 가져오게 하여 등불을 계속 켜 두어라.
21아론과 그의 아들들은 27:21 또는 ‘회막’성막 안, 곧 법궤 앞에 있는 휘장 밖에서 등불을 켜야 하며 저녁부터 다음날 아침까지 그 불이 나 여호와 앞에서 꺼지지 않도록 계속 살펴야 한다. 이것은 이스라엘 백성이 대대로 지켜야 할 불변의 규정이다.”
