Psalm 97
1The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad;
let the distant shores rejoice.
2Clouds and thick darkness surround him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3Fire goes before him
and consumes his foes on every side.
4His lightning lights up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.
5The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
before the Lord of all the earth.
6The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
and all peoples see his glory.
7All who worship images are put to shame,
those who boast in idols—
worship him, all you gods!
8Zion hears and rejoices
and the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments, Lord.
9For you, Lord, are the Most High over all the earth;
you are exalted far above all gods.
10Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

1องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงครอบครอง แผ่นดินโลกจงเปรมปรีดิ์
ชายทะเลไกลโพ้นจงชื่นชมยินดี
2เมฆและความมืดรายล้อมพระองค์
ความชอบธรรมและความยุติธรรมเป็นรากฐานบัลลังก์ของพระองค์
3ไฟโชติช่วงนำเสด็จ
และเผาผลาญศัตรูของพระองค์รอบด้าน
4สายฟ้าของพระองค์แวบวาบเหนือโลก
แผ่นดินโลกเห็นแล้วสั่นสะท้าน
5ภูเขาหลอมเหลวดั่งขี้ผึ้งต่อหน้า
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
ต่อหน้าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจอมโลกา
6ฟ้าสวรรค์ประกาศความชอบธรรมของพระองค์
ชนชาติทั้งปวงเห็นพระเกียรติสิริของพระองค์
7บรรดาผู้ที่นมัสการรูปเคารพจะได้รับความอับอาย
คือผู้ที่โอ้อวดในรูปเคารพ
เทพเจ้าทั้งปวงเอ๋ย จงมานมัสการพระเจ้า!
8ศิโยนได้ยินและชื่นชมยินดี
และหมู่บ้านต่างๆ ของยูดาห์เปรมปรีดิ์
เนื่องด้วยคำพิพากษาของพระองค์ ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
9ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นองค์ผู้สูงสุดเหนือทั้งโลก
พระองค์ทรงเป็นที่ยกย่องเทิดทูนเหนือพระทั้งปวง
10บรรดาผู้ที่รักองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า จงเกลียดชังความชั่ว
เพราะพระองค์ทรงปกป้องชีวิตของบรรดาผู้ที่ซื่อสัตย์ต่อพระองค์
และทรงช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากเงื้อมมือของคนชั่ว
11แสงสว่างสาดส่องคนชอบธรรม
และความสุขโสมนัสมีแก่ผู้ที่มีจิตใจเที่ยงธรรม
12ท่านผู้ชอบธรรมเอ๋ย จงชื่นชมยินดีในองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
และสรรเสริญพระนามอันบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์
