Psalm 30In Hebrew texts 30:1-12 is numbered 30:2-13.
A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple.Title: Or palace Of David.
1I will exalt you, Lord,
for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2Lord my God, I called to you for help,
and you healed me.
3You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
you spared me from going down to the pit.
4Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
praise his holy name.
5For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
6When I felt secure, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”
7Lord, when you favored me,
you made my royal mountain30:7 That is, Mount Zion stand firm;
but when you hid your face,
I was dismayed.
8To you, Lord, I called;
to the Lord I cried for mercy:
9“What is gained if I am silenced,
if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise you?
Will it proclaim your faithfulness?
10Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me;
Lord, be my help.”
11You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.
Salmo 30
Salmo. Cântico para a dedicação do templo30.0 Título: Ou do palácio. Hebraico: casa.. Davídico.
1Eu te exaltarei, Senhor, pois tu me reergueste
e não deixaste que os meus inimigos se divertissem à minha custa.
2Senhor meu Deus, a ti clamei por socorro,
e tu me curaste.
3Senhor, tiraste-me da sepultura30.3 Hebraico: Sheol. Essa palavra também pode ser traduzida por profundezas, pó ou morte.;
prestes a descer à cova, devolveste-me à vida.
4Cantem louvores ao Senhor, vocês, os seus fiéis;
louvem o seu santo nome.
5Pois a sua ira só dura um instante,
mas o seu favor dura a vida toda;
o choro pode persistir uma noite,
mas de manhã irrompe a alegria.
6Quando me senti seguro, disse:
Jamais serei abalado!
7Senhor, com o teu favor,
deste-me firmeza e estabilidade;30.7 Hebraico: firmaste a minha montanha.
mas, quando escondeste a tua face,
fiquei aterrorizado.
8A ti, Senhor, clamei,
ao Senhor pedi misericórdia:
9Se eu morrer30.9 Hebraico: No meu sangue., se eu descer à cova,
que vantagem haverá?
Acaso o pó te louvará?
Proclamará a tua fidelidade?
10Ouve, Senhor, e tem misericórdia de mim;
Senhor, sê tu o meu auxílio.
11Mudaste o meu pranto em dança,
a minha veste de lamento em veste de alegria,
12para que o meu coração cante louvores a ti e não se cale.
Senhor, meu Deus, eu te darei graças para sempre.
