Psalm 19In Hebrew texts 19:1-14 is numbered 19:2-15.
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4Yet their voice19:4 Septuagint, Jerome and Syriac; Hebrew measuring line goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.
10They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
11By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
12But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
13Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
14May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Kwa mtsogoleri wa mayimbidwe. Salimo la Davide.
1Zakumwamba zimalengeza za ulemerero wa Mulungu;
thambo limalalikira ntchito za manja ake.
2Tsiku ndi tsiku zimayankhula mawu ambiri,
usiku ndi usiku zimaonetsa poyera nzeru.
3Palibe kuyankhula, palibe mawu aliwonse;
liwu lawo silimveka.
4Koma uthenga wawo umapita pa dziko lonse lapansi,
mawuwo amafika mpaka
kumalekezero a dziko lapansi.
5Dzuwa lili ngati mkwatibwi wobwera kuchokera ku nsanja yake,
ngati katswiri wokondwerera kuthamanga pa mpikisano.
6Limatuluka kuyambira mbali ina ya thambo
ndi kuzungulira mpaka mbali inanso;
palibe chinthu chotha kupewa kutentha kwake.
7Lamulo la Yehova ndi langwiro,
kutsitsimutsa moyo.
Maumboni a Yehova ndi odalirika,
amapereka nzeru kwa wopanda nzeru.
8Malangizo a Yehova ndi olungama,
amapereka chimwemwe mu mtima.
Malamulo a Yehova ndi onyezimira,
amapereka kuwala.
9Kuopa Yehova ndiye chinthu changwiro,
chimakhala mpaka muyaya.
Maweruzo a Yehova ndi owona
ndipo onse ndi olungama;
10ndi a mtengowapatali kuposa golide,
kuposa golide weniweni;
ndi otsekemera kuposa uchi,
kuposa uchi wochokera pa chisa chake.
11Mtumiki wanu amachenjezedwa nawo;
powasunga pali mphotho yayikulu.
12Ndani angathe kudziwa zolakwa zake?
Mundikhululukire zolakwa zanga zobisika.
13Muteteze mtumiki wanunso ku machimo ochita akudziwa;
iwo asandilamulire.
Kotero ndidzakhala wosalakwa,
wopanda mlandu wa tchimo lalikulu.
14Mawu a mʼkamwa mwanga ndi zolingalira za mu mtima mwanga
zikhale zokondweretsa pamaso panu,
Inu Yehova, Thanthwe langa ndi Mpulumutsi wanga.
