Psalm 147
1Praise the Lord.147:1 Hebrew Hallelu Yah; also in verse 20
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
6The Lord sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
7Sing to the Lord with grateful praise;
make music to our God on the harp.
8He covers the sky with clouds;
he supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.
9He provides food for the cattle
and for the young ravens when they call.
10His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse,
nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
11the Lord delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12Extol the Lord, Jerusalem;
praise your God, Zion.
13He strengthens the bars of your gates
and blesses your people within you.
14He grants peace to your borders
and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15He sends his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
16He spreads the snow like wool
and scatters the frost like ashes.
17He hurls down his hail like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?
18He sends his word and melts them;
he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.
19He has revealed his word to Jacob,
his laws and decrees to Israel.
20He has done this for no other nation;

Salmo 147
1¡Aleluya!
¡Cuán bueno es cantar salmos a nuestro Dios,
cuán agradable y justo es alabarlo!
2El Señor reconstruye a Jerusalén
y reúne a los exiliados de Israel;
3sana a los de corazón quebrantado
y venda sus heridas.
4Él determina el número de las estrellas
y a cada una de ellas llama por su nombre.
5Excelso es nuestro Señor y grande su poder;
su entendimiento es infinito.
6El Señor sostiene a los humildes,
pero a los malvados lanza contra el suelo.
7Canten al Señor con gratitud;
canten salmos a nuestro Dios al son del arpa.
8Él cubre de nubes el cielo,
envía la lluvia sobre la tierra
y hace crecer la hierba en los montes.
9Él alimenta a los ganados
y a las crías de los cuervos cuando graznan.
10Él no se deleita en los bríos del caballo
ni se complace en la fuerza del hombre;
11el Señor se complace en los que le temen,
en los que confían en su gran amor.
12¡Alaba al Señor, Jerusalén!
¡Alaba a tu Dios, oh Sión!
13Él refuerza los cerrojos de tus puertas
y bendice a los que en ti habitan.
14Él trae la paz a tus fronteras
y te sacia con lo mejor del trigo.
15Envía sus órdenes a la tierra;
su palabra corre a toda prisa.
16Extiende la nieve como lana,
esparce la escarcha cual ceniza.
17Deja caer el granizo como grava;
¿quién puede resistir su frío?
18Pero envía su palabra y lo derrite;
hace que el viento sople y las aguas fluyan.
19A Jacob le ha revelado su palabra;
sus estatutos y leyes a Israel.
20Esto no lo ha hecho con ninguna otra nación;
jamás han conocido ellas sus leyes.
