Psalm 110
Of David. A psalm.
1The Lord says to my lord:110:1 Or Lord
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”
2The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
3Your troops will be willing
on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.110:3 The meaning of the Hebrew for this sentence is uncertain.
4The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”
5The Lord is at your right hand110:5 Or My lord is at your right hand, Lord;
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
6He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
7He will drink from a brook along the way,110:7 The meaning of the Hebrew for this clause is uncertain.
and so he will lift his head high.

1องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสกับเจ้านาย110:1 หรือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของข้าพเจ้าว่า
“จงนั่งที่ขวามือของเรา
จนกว่าเราจะทำให้ศัตรูของเจ้า
เป็นแท่นวางเท้าของเจ้า”
2องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงใช้คทาทรงฤทธิ์ของท่าน
แผ่อำนาจออกไปจากศิโยน
ท่านจะปกครองในหมู่อริราชศัตรู
3ในวันที่ท่านออกศึก
กองทหารของท่านจะเต็มใจอาสาสู้รบ
ตั้งแนวรบด้วยพระบารมีศักดิ์สิทธิ์
ท่านจะได้รับหยาดน้ำค้างแห่งวัยฉกรรจ์110:3 หรือคนหนุ่มของท่านจะออกมาหาท่านเหมือนน้ำค้าง
จากครรภ์แห่งรุ่งอรุณ
4องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ทรงปฏิญาณแล้ว
และจะไม่ทรงเปลี่ยนพระทัยคือ
“เจ้าเป็นปุโรหิตชั่วนิรันดร์
ตามแบบของเมลคีเซเดค”
5องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงประทับเบื้องขวาของท่าน
พระองค์จะทรงบดขยี้กษัตริย์ทั้งหลายในวันแห่งพระพิโรธของพระองค์
6พระองค์จะทรงพิพากษานานาประชาชาติ ทำให้ผู้คนล้มตายเกลื่อนกลาด
จะทรงบดขยี้ผู้นำทั่วโลก
7ท่านจะดื่มน้ำจากลำธารริมทาง110:7 หรือพระองค์ผู้ประทานการสืบทอดอำนาจจะตั้งท่านไว้ให้ปกครอง
ฉะนั้นท่านจะผงาดเกรียงไกร
