1人の言うことを聞く気がある人は、
知識を得ることができます。
叱責に耳をふさぐ者は愚か者です。
2主は正しい人を祝福し、悪人を罰します。
3悪いことをして成功する者はいません。
成功するのは正しい人だけです。
4良い妻は夫の誇り。
悪い妻は夫に肩身のせまい思いをさせ、
事ごとに足を引っ張ります。
5正しい人の考えは正直一筋ですが、
悪人はうそと偽りでこり固まっています。
6悪人は人を責め、神を恐れる人は人をかばいます。
7悪人の家は必ず滅び、

しかし勤勉な人は、見つけた物は少しもむだにせず、
うまく利用します。
28神を信じる人はいのちの道を歩いているので、
死を恐れることがありません。
