Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness
1Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted4:1 The Greek for tempted can also mean tested. by the devil. 2After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
4Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’4:4 Deut. 8:3”
5Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6“If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“ ‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’4:6 Psalm 91:11,12”
7Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’4:7 Deut. 6:16”
8Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9“All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
10Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’4:10 Deut. 6:13”
11Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
Jesus Begins to Preach
12When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee. 13Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali— 14to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:
15“Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,
the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles—
16the people living in darkness
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death
a light has dawned.”4:16 Isaiah 9:1,2
17From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Jesus Calls His First Disciples
18As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 20At once they left their nets and followed him.
21Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, 22and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
Jesus Heals the Sick
23Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them. 25Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis,4:25 That is, the Ten Cities Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.

1پاشان عیسا بەهۆی ڕۆحی پیرۆزەوە بردرایە چۆڵەوانی، تاکو لەلایەن ئیبلیسەوە تاقی بکرێتەوە. 2دوای ئەوەی کە چل شەو و چل ڕۆژ بەڕۆژوو بوو، برسی بوو. 3تاقیکەرەوە لێی هاتە پێش، پێی گوت: «ئەگەر تۆ کوڕی خودایت4:3 بڕوانە لیستی زاراوەکان لە پاشکۆ.، بەم بەردانە بڵێ با ببن بە نان.»
4بەڵام عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «نووسراوە: ﴿مرۆڤ تەنها بە نان ناژیێت، بەڵکو بە هەر وشەیەک کە لە دەمی خوداوە دێتە دەرەوە.﴾4:4 دواوتار 8:3.»
5ئینجا ئیبلیس بردییە شاری پیرۆز4:5 شاری پیرۆز: مەبەستی لە ئۆرشەلیمە. و لەسەر گوێسەبانەی4:5 سواندە. پەرستگا ڕایگرت و 6پێی گوت: «ئەگەر تۆ کوڕی خودایت خۆت هەڵبدە خوارەوە. لەبەر ئەوەی نووسراوە:
«﴿سەبارەت بە تۆ فەرمان بە فریشتەکانی دەدات،
لەسەر دەستیان هەڵتدەگرن،
تاکو پێت بەر بەردێک نەکەوێت.﴾4:6 زەبوورەکان 91:11-12»
7عیساش پێی فەرموو: «هەروەها نووسراوە: ﴿یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان تاقی مەکەنەوە.﴾4:7 دواوتار 6:16»
8دیسان ئیبلیس بۆ سەر شاخێکی زۆر بڵندی برد و هەموو شانشینەکانی جیهان و شکۆی ئەوانی پیشان دا و 9پێی گوت: «هەموو ئەمانەت دەدەمێ ئەگەر کڕنۆش ببەیت و بمپەرستی.»
10ئینجا عیساش پێی فەرموو: «ئەی شەیتان لێم دووربکەوە! چونکە نووسراوە: ﴿کڕنۆش بۆ یەزدانی پەروەردگارت دەبەیت و تەنها ئەو دەپەرستیت.﴾4:10 دواوتار 6:13»
11ئیتر ئیبلیس وازی لێ هێنا و چەند فریشتەیەک هاتن و خزمەتیان دەکرد.
مژدەبەخشین لە جەلیل
12کاتێک عیسا بیستی یەحیا گیراوە، گەڕایەوە بۆ ناوچەی جەلیل. 13ناسیرەی بەجێهێشت و هات لە شاری کەفەرناحوم نیشتەجێ بوو، کە لەسەر دەریاچەیە، لە سنووری زەبولون و نەفتالی4:13 دوو ناوچەی بچووکن دەکەونە باکووری فەلەستین و ڕۆژئاوای دەریاچەی جەلیل، بە ناوی دووان لە کوڕەکانی حەزرەتی یاقوب ناونراون.، 14تاکو ئەوەی لە ڕێگەی پێغەمبەر ئیشایاوە گوتراوە بێتە دی:
15﴿ئەی خاکی زەبولون و خاکی نەفتالی،
ئەوەی لە ڕێگای دەریایە، ئەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردون،
جەلیلی ناجولەکەکان،
16ئەو گەلەی لە تاریکیدا دانیشتووە،
ڕووناکییەکی گەورەی بینی،
دانیشتووان لە خاکی سێبەری مەرگ
ڕووناکی بەسەریاندا هەڵهات.﴾4:16 ئیشایا 9:1-2
17لەو کاتەوە عیسا دەستی کرد بە جاڕدان و دەیفەرموو: «تۆبە بکەن، چونکە پاشایەتی ئاسمان نزیک بووەتەوە.»
هەڵبژاردنی قوتابییەکان
18کاتێک عیسا بە کەناری دەریاچەی جەلیلدا دەڕۆیشت، دوو برای بینی، شیمۆن کە پێی دەگوترا پەترۆس لەگەڵ ئەندراوسی برای، تۆڕیان فڕێدەدایە دەریاچەکە، چونکە ماسیگر بوون. 19عیسا پێی فەرموون: «وەرن دوام بکەون، دەتانکەم بە ڕاوکەری مرۆڤ4:19 مەبەست لە هێنانی خەڵکە بۆ ئەوەی ببەن بە قوتابی مەسیح..» 20دەستبەجێ تۆڕەکانیان بەجێهێشت و دوای کەوتن.
21کە لەوێ ڕۆیشت، دوو برای دیکەی بینی، یاقوبی کوڕی زەبدی و یۆحەنای برای، لە بەلەمێکدا لەگەڵ زەبدی باوکیان تۆڕەکانیان چاک دەکردەوە، ئەوانیشی بانگکرد. 22دەستبەجێ بەلەمەکە و باوکیان بەجێهێشت و دوای عیسا کەوتن.
عیسا نەخۆش چاک دەکاتەوە
23ئینجا عیسا بە هەموو جەلیلدا دەگەڕا، لە کەنیشتەکانیان4:23 کەنیشت: بەو شوێنە دەگوترێت کە جولەکەکان نوێژ و خواپەرستی و خوێندنی تەوراتی لێ ئەنجام دەدەن. خەڵکی فێر دەکرد و مزگێنی4:23 یۆنانی: ئیوانجیلیۆن، لە زمانی عەرەبی بووە بە ئینجیل. لە زمانی یۆنانی بە واتای مژدە دێت، بە تایبەتی ڕاگەیاندنی هاتنی پاشا، لێرەدا بۆ هاتنی مەسیح بەکارهاتووە. پاشایەتییەکەی ڕادەگەیاند، هەرچی نەخۆشی و نەساغی نێو خەڵک هەبوو چاکی دەکردنەوە. 24لەبەر ئەوە دەنگوباسی تەواوی سوریای4:24 سوریا لەو سەردەمەدا بە خاکی باکووری جەلیل گوتراوە سوریا، کە هەرێمێکی ژێر دەسەڵاتی ڕۆمانی بووە. گرتەوە، ئەوانیش هەموو نەخۆشێکیان دەهێنایە لای، بە جۆرەها دەرد و ئازارەوە، ئەوانەی کە ڕۆحی پیسیان تێدابوو و فێدار و ئیفلیج بوون، چاکی دەکردنەوە. 25جا خەڵکێکی زۆر لە جەلیل و دە شارەکە4:25 دە شارەکە: دیکاپۆلیس، دەکەوێتە ڕۆژهەڵاتی ڕووباری ئوردون. و ئۆرشەلیم و یەهودیا و ئەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردون دوای کەوتن.
