6Așa vorbește Domnul:
„Pentru trei fărădelegi ale Gazei,
ba chiar pentru patru,
nu‑Mi voi retrage mânia,
pentru că a dus în exil comunități întregi,
ca să le dea pe mâna Edomului.
7Voi trimite foc în zidurile Gazei,
care îi va mistui fortărețele.
8Îl voi nimici pe locuitorul din8 Sau: pe cel ce stăpânește în (sau pe regele din). Așdod
și pe cel ce ține sceptrul în Așchelon,
Îmi voi întoarce mâna împotriva Ekronului,
iar rămășița filistenilor va pieri,“ zice Stăpânul Domn.
Judecată împotriva Tyrului
9Așa vorbește Domnul:
„Pentru trei fărădelegi ale Tyrului,
ba chiar pentru patru,
nu‑Mi voi retrage mânia,
pentru că a dus în exil comunități întregi, dându‑le Edomului
și nu și‑a adus aminte de legământul frățesc9 Vezi 1 Regi 5:1, 12..
10Voi trimite foc asupra zidurilor Tyrului,
care îi va mistui fortărețele.“
Judecată împotriva Edomului
11Așa vorbește Domnul:
„Pentru trei fărădelegi ale Edomului,
ba chiar pentru patru,
nu‑Mi voi retrage mânia,
pentru că l‑a urmărit cu sabia pe fratele său,
înăbușindu‑și mila,
pentru că s‑a lăsat mereu condus de mânie
și și‑a păstrat neîncetat furia.
12Voi trimite foc în Teman,
care va mistui fortărețele Boțrei.“
Judecată împotriva amoniților
13Așa vorbește Domnul:
„Pentru trei fărădelegi ale fiilor lui Amon,
ba chiar pentru patru,
nu‑Mi voi retrage mânia,
pentru că a spintecat pântecele femeilor însărcinate din Ghilad,
ca să‑și lărgească hotarul.
14Voi aprinde un foc pe zidurile Rabei,
care îi va mistui fortărețele
în mijlocul strigătelor de război din ziua bătăliei,
în mijlocul vijeliei din ziua furtunii.
15Regele lor15 Sau: Milkom (Moleh, zeul suprem al amoniților). Ebr.: malkam. va merge în exil
împreună cu căpeteniile sale,“ zice Domnul.
