Psalm 25
A psalm of David.
1In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.
2I trust in you.
Don’t let me be put to shame.
Don’t let my enemies win the battle over me.
3Those who put their hope in you
will never be put to shame.
But those who lie to other people for no reason
will be put to shame.
4Lord, show me your ways.
Teach me how to follow you.
5Guide me in your truth. Teach me.
You are God my Savior.
I put my hope in you all day long.
6Lord, remember your great mercy and love.
You have shown them to your people for a long time.
7Don’t remember the sins I committed when I was young.
Don’t remember how often I refused to obey you.
Remember me because you love me.
Lord, you are good.
8The Lord is honest and good.
He teaches sinners to walk in his ways.
9He shows those who aren’t proud how to do what is right.
He teaches them his ways.
10All the Lord’s ways are loving and faithful
toward those who obey what his covenant commands.
11Lord, be true to your name.
Forgive my sin, even though it is great.
12Who are the people who have respect for the Lord?
God will teach them the ways they should choose.
13Things will always go well for them.
Their children will be given the land.
14The Lord shares his plans with those who have respect for him.
He makes his covenant known to them.
15My eyes always look to the Lord.
He alone can set my feet free from the trap.
16Turn to me and help me.
I am lonely and hurting.
17Take away the troubles of my heart.
Set me free from my great pain.
18Look at how I’m hurting! See how much I suffer!
Take away all my sins.
19Look at how many enemies I have!
See how terrible their hatred is for me!
20Guard my life. Save me.
Don’t let me be put to shame.
I go to you for safety.
21May my honest and good life keep me safe.
Lord, I have put my hope in you.
22God, set Israel free
from all their troubles!
زەبووری 25
زەبوورێکی داود.
1ئەی یەزدان، گیانی خۆم بۆ تۆ بەرز دەکەمەوە.
2ئەی خودای من، پشتم بە تۆ بەستووە.
ڕێ مەدە شەرمەزار بم،
دوژمنانم پێ خۆش مەکە.
3هەموو ئەوانەی ئومێدیان بە تۆ هەیە
شەرمەزار نابن،
بەڵکو ئەوانە شەرمەزار دەبن
کە بەبێ هۆ ناپاکی دەکەن.
4ئەی یەزدان، ڕێگاکانی خۆتم پێ بناسێنە،
ڕێڕەوەکانی خۆتم فێر بکە.
5لە ڕاستی خۆت ڕێنماییم بکە و فێرم بکە،
چونکە تۆ خودای ڕزگارکەری منیت،
بە درێژایی ڕۆژ ئومێدم هەر بە تۆیە.
6ئەی یەزدان، بەزەیی و خۆشەویستییە نەگۆڕەکەی خۆت لەبیر بێت،
چونکە لە دێرزەمانەوە ئەمانە هەن.
7ئەی یەزدان، گوناهەکانی کاتی گەنجیەتیم و
یاخیبوونەکانم بەبیر خۆت مەهێنەوە،
بەڵکو بەگوێرەی خۆشەویستییە نەگۆڕەکەت بیرم لێ بکەرەوە،
لە پێناوی چاکی خۆت.
8یەزدان چاک و سەرڕاستە،
بۆیە گوناهباران فێری ڕاستەڕێیی دەکات،
9ڕابەرایەتی بێفیزەکان دەکات بۆ دادپەروەری،
ئەوان فێری ڕێگای خۆی دەکات.
10هەموو ڕێگاکانی یەزدان ڕاست و خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕن
بۆ ئەو کەسانەی فەرزەکانی پەیمانەکەی ناشکێنن.
11ئەی یەزدان، لە پێناوی ناوی خۆت،
لە گوناهم خۆشبە، هەرچەندە گەورەشە.
12کێیە ئەو کەسەی لە یەزدان دەترسێت؟
خودا فێری ئەو ڕێگایەی دەکات کە بۆی هەڵبژاردووە.
13هەموو ڕۆژانی لە چاکەدا دەبێت و
زەوی بە میرات بۆ نەوەکانی دەمێنێتەوە.
14خودا نهێنی خۆی بەوانە دەسپێرێت کە لێی دەترسن،
وا دەکات پەیمانەکەی زانراو بێت لەلایان.
15من هەمیشە چاوم ئاراستەی یەزدان کردووە،
چونکە تەنها ئەو پێم لە تەڵە دەکاتەوە.
16ئاوڕم لێ بدەوە و لەگەڵم میهرەبان بە،
چونکە تەنها و کڵۆڵم.
17دڵتەنگیم زیاد بووە،
لە تەنگانەکانم ڕزگارم بکە.
18تەماشای داماوی و ڕەنجکێشانم بکە و
لە هەموو گوناهەکانم خۆشبە.
19تەماشای دوژمنەکانم بکە چەند زۆر بوونە و
چەند بە قینەوە ڕقیان لێمە.
20ژیانم بپارێزە و ڕزگارم بکە،
شەرمەزارم مەکە،
چونکە پەنا وەبەر تۆ دەهێنم.
21با دروستی و سەرڕاستی پارێزەرم بن،
چونکە ئومێدم بە تۆیە.
22ئەی خودایە، ئیسرائیل بکڕەوە
لە هەموو تەنگانەکانی!
