Preparing the Priests to Serve the Lord
1The Lord spoke to Moses. He said, 2“Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting. Bring their clothes and the anointing oil. Bring the bull for the sin offering. Also bring two rams. And bring the basket with the bread made without yeast. 3Then gather the whole community at the entrance to the tent of meeting.” 4Moses did just as the Lord had commanded him. All the people gathered together at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
5Moses said to the people, “Here is what the Lord has commanded us to do.” 6Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons to the people. He washed Aaron and his sons with water. 7He put the inner robe on Aaron. He tied the belt around him. He dressed him in the outer robe. He put the linen apron on him. He took the skillfully made waistband and tied the apron on him with it. He wanted to make sure it was securely tied to him. 8Moses placed the chest cloth on Aaron. He put the Urim and Thummim in the chest cloth. 9Then he placed the turban on Aaron’s head. On the front of the turban he put the gold plate. It was a sacred crown. Moses did everything just as the Lord had commanded him.
10Then Moses took the anointing oil and poured it on the holy tent. He also poured it on everything in it. That’s how he set apart those things for the Lord. 11He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times. He poured oil on the altar and all its tools. He poured it on the large bowl and its stand. He did it to set them apart. 12He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head. He anointed him to set him apart to serve the Lord. 13Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons to the people. He put the inner robes on them. He tied belts around them. He put caps on their heads. He did everything just as the Lord had commanded him.
14Then he brought the bull for the sin offering. Aaron and his sons placed their hands on its head. 15Moses killed the bull. He dipped his finger into some of the blood. He put it on the horns that stick out from the upper four corners of the altar. He did it to make the altar pure. He poured out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar. So he set it apart to make it pure. 16Moses also removed all the fat around the inside parts of the bull. He removed the long part of the liver. He took both kidneys and their fat. Then he burned all of it on the altar. 17But he burned the rest of the bull outside the camp. He burned up its hide, its meat and its guts. He did it just as the Lord had commanded him.
18Then Moses brought the ram for the burnt offering. Aaron and his sons placed their hands on its head. 19Moses killed the ram. He splashed the blood against the sides of the altar. 20He cut the ram into pieces. He burned the head, the other pieces and the fat. 21He washed the inside parts and the legs with water. He burned the whole ram on the altar as a burnt offering. It had a pleasant smell. It was a food offering presented to the Lord. Moses did everything just as the Lord had commanded him.
22Then he brought the other ram. It was sacrificed to prepare the priests for serving the Lord. Aaron and his sons placed their hands on its head. 23Moses killed the ram. He put some of its blood on Aaron’s right earlobe. He put some on the thumb of Aaron’s right hand. He also put some on the big toe of Aaron’s right foot. 24Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons to the people. He put some of the blood on their right earlobes. He put some on the thumbs of their right hands. He also put some on the big toes of their right feet. Then he splashed the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar. 25He removed the fat, the fat tail and all the fat around the inside parts. He removed the long part of the liver. He removed both kidneys and their fat. And he removed the right thigh. 26Then he took a thick loaf of bread from the basket of bread made without yeast. The basket was in front of the Lord. Moses took a thick loaf of bread made with olive oil. He also took a thin loaf of bread. He put all of it on the fat parts of the ram and on its right thigh. 27He put everything in the hands of Aaron and his sons. He told them to lift it up and wave it in front of the Lord as a wave offering. 28Then Moses took it from their hands. He burned it on the altar on top of the burnt offering. It was the offering that was sacrificed to prepare the priests for serving the Lord. It had a pleasant smell. It was a food offering presented to the Lord. 29Moses also lifted up the ram’s breast and waved it in front of the Lord as a wave offering. The breast was Moses’ share of the ram that was sacrificed to prepare the priests for serving the Lord. Moses did everything just as the Lord had commanded him.
30Then Moses took some of the anointing oil. He also took some of the blood from the altar. He sprinkled some of the oil and blood on Aaron and his clothes. He also sprinkled some on Aaron’s sons and their clothes. That’s how he set apart Aaron and his clothes. And that’s how he set apart Aaron’s sons and their clothes.
31Then Moses spoke to Aaron and his sons. He said, “Cook the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Eat it there along with the bread from the basket of the offerings that are brought to prepare the priests for serving the Lord. Do it just as I was commanded. I was told, ‘Aaron and his sons must eat it.’ 32Then burn up the rest of the meat and the bread. 33Don’t leave the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days. Don’t leave until the days that are required to prepare you for serving the Lord have been completed. Stay here for the full seven days. 34The Lord commanded what has been done here today. It was done to pay for your sin. 35Stay at the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days. Stay here day and night. Do what the Lord requires. Then you won’t die. That’s the command the Lord gave me.”
36So Aaron and his sons did everything just as the Lord had commanded through Moses.

1Nagsiling ang Ginoo kay Moises, 2-3“Pakadtua si Aaron kag ang iya mga anak nga lalaki didto sa puwertahan sang Tolda nga Ginapakigkitaan, kag tipuna ang bug-os nga katilingban didto. Ipadala ang mga bayo nga para sa mga pari, ang lana nga inughaplas, ang turo nga baka nga halad sa pagpakatinlo, ang duha ka karnero nga lalaki, kag ang alat nga may mga tinapay nga wala sing inugpahabok.”
4Gintuman ni Moises ang ginsugo sa iya sang Ginoo, kag nagtipon ang katilingban didto sa puwertahan sang Tolda nga Ginapakigkitaan. 5Karon, ginhambalan sila ni Moises nga ining iya himuon amo ang ginsugo sang Ginoo sa iya. 6Gindala niya sa tunga si Aaron kag ang iya mga anak kag ginpapaligo niya sila. 7Ginpasuksok niya kay Aaron ang iya sulul-ubon bilang pangulo nga pari: ang pangsulod nga bayo, ang wagkos, ang pangguwa nga bayo,8:7 pangguwa nga bayo nga daw sutana. kag ang espesyal nga panapton8:7 espesyal nga panapton: sa Hebreo, efod. nga nahigtan maayo sang hinabol8:7 hinabol: sa English, woven. nga paha nga maayo ang pagkahimo. 8Gintakod man ni Moises kay Aaron ang bulobulsa sa dughan kag ginsulod niya didto ang Urim kag Thumim.8:8 Urim kag Thumim: Duha ka butang nga ginagamit sa paghibalo sang kabubut-on sang Dios. 9Dayon ginpasuksok niya ang turban sa ulo ni Aaron, kag ginpatakod sa atubangan sang turban ang medalya nga bulawan nga simbolo nga ginpain si Aaron para sa Ginoo. Ginhimo ini tanan ni Moises suno sa ginsugo sa iya sang Ginoo.
10Ginkuha dayon ni Moises ang lana kag ginwisikan ang Tolda nga Simbahan kag ang tanan nga ara sa sulod sini. Sa sini nga paagi gindedikar ini nga mga butang sa Ginoo. 11Ginwisikan niya sang lana ang halaran sing makapito ka beses kag ang tanan nga kagamitan sini, kag amo man ang labador kag ang tulungtungan sini. Ginhimo niya ini agod idedikar ini nga mga butang sa Ginoo. 12Dayon ginbubuan niya sang lana ang ulo ni Aaron sa pagdedikar sa iya sa Ginoo. 13Dayon gindala niya sa tunga ang mga anak ni Aaron nga lalaki kag ginpasuksok sa ila ang ila bayo bilang mga pari kag ginwagkusan ini. Ginsuksok man nila ang ila mga kalo. Ginhimo ini ni Moises suno sa ginsugo sa iya sang Ginoo. 14Pagkatapos sini, ginpakuha ni Moises ang turo nga baka nga ihalad sa pagpakatinlo. Kag gintungtong ni Aaron kag sang iya mga anak ang ila mga kamot sa ulo sang baka. 15Gin-ihaw ni Moises ang baka kag nagkuha siya sang dugo sini. Gintum-oy niya ang iya tudlo sa dugo kag ginlamhitan ang mga sulosungay nga mga pamusod sang halaran sa pagtinlo sini. Dayon gin-ula niya ang nabilin nga dugo sa idalom sang halaran. Sa sini nga paagi gindedikar niya ang halaran sa Ginoo agod mangin takos ini nga gamiton sa pagtubos sang sala. 16Ginkuha man ni Moises ang tanan nga sapay sa kasudlan sang sapat, ang gamay nga parte sang atay, ang mga batobato pati ang mga tambok sini, kag ginsunog niya ini tanan sa halaran. 17Ang mga nabilin nga parte sang baka pareho sang unod, panit, kag mga tinai, ginsunog niya sa guwa sang kampo. Ginhimo ini ni Moises suno sa ginsugo sa iya sang Ginoo. 18Pagkatapos ginpakuha ni Moises ang lalaki nga karnero bilang halad nga ginasunog, kag gintungtong ni Aaron kag sang iya mga anak ang ila mga kamot sa ulo sang karnero. 19Dayon gin-ihaw ni Moises ang karnero kag ginwisik-wisik ang dugo sini sa palibot sang halaran. 20-21Ginpanghiwa-hiwa niya ang sapat kag ginsunog ang ulo, ang mga tambok kag ang iban pa nga parte sang sapat. Ginhugasan niya ang mga parte sang sulod sang tiyan kag ang mga tiil. Ginsunog niya sa halaran ang tanan nga parte sang sapat bilang halad nga ginasunog. Ang kahamot sini nga halad nga paagi sa kalayo makapalipay sa Ginoo. Ginhimo ini ni Moises suno sa ginsugo sa iya sang Ginoo. 22Ginpakuha man dayon ni Moises ang ikaduha nga lalaki nga karnero. Ini nga karnero halad nga para sa ordinasyon. Gintungtong ni Aaron kag sang iya mga anak ang ila mga kamot sa ulo sang karnero. 23Dayon gin-ihaw ni Moises ang karnero kag nagkuha siya sang dugo sini kag ginlamhit sa idalom nga parte sang tuo nga dulunggan ni Aaron, sa kumalagko sang iya tuo nga kamot, kag sa kumalagko sang iya tuo nga tiil. 24Gindala man ni Moises sa tunga ang mga anak ni Aaron nga lalaki kag ginlamhitan man niya sang dugo ang idalom nga parte sang ila tuo nga dulunggan, ang kumalagko sang ila tuo nga kamot, kag ang kumalagko sang ila tuo nga tiil. Dayon ginwisik-wisik niya ang dugo sa palibot sang halaran. 25Ginkuha niya ang mga tambok, ang matambok nga ikog, ang tanan nga sapay sa kasudlan, ang gamay nga parte sang atay, ang mga batobato pati ang mga tambok sini, kag ang tuo nga paa. 26-27Dayon nagkuha si Moises sang isa sa kada klase sang mga tinapay nga wala sing inugpahabok nga nasulod sa alat kag nahalad sa Ginoo. Ang iya ginkuha tinapay nga madamol, tinapay nga ginmikslahan sang mantika, kag tinapay nga manipis. Ginpauyatan niya ini tanan kay Aaron kag sa iya mga anak pati ang tanan nga tambok kag ang tuo nga paa sang karnero, kag ginbayaw nila ini sa Ginoo bilang halad nga ginabayaw. 28Dayon ginkuha ini ni Moises sa ila kag ginsunog sa halaran upod sang halad nga ginasunog. Halad ini nga para sa ila ordinasyon. Ang kahamot sini nga halad nga paagi sa kalayo makapalipay sa Ginoo. 29Ginkuha man ni Moises ang dughan sang karnero kag ginbayaw ini sa Ginoo bilang halad nga ginabayaw. Amo ini ang iya parte sa karnero nga halad para sa ordinasyon. Ini tanan ginhimo ni Moises suno sa ginsugo sa iya sang Ginoo.
30Dayon nagkuha si Moises sang lana nga inughaplas kag sang dugo sa halaran kag ginwisikan niya si Aaron kag ang iya mga anak pati ang ila mga bayo. Sa sini nga paagi ginhalad niya sila kag ang ila mga bayo sa Ginoo. 31Nagsiling dayon si Moises kay Aaron kag sa iya mga anak, “Lutua ninyo ang karne sa puwertahan sang Tolda nga Ginapakigkitaan, kag suno sa ginsugo ko sa inyo kauna ninyo ini diri upod sang mga tinapay sa alat nga halad para sa ordinasyon. 32Kag sunuga ninyo ang mabilin nga karne kag tinapay. 33Indi kamo maghalin diri sa sulod sang pito ka adlaw, hasta matapos ang inyo ordinasyon. 34Ang Ginoo ang nagsugo sa aton sa paghimo sining ginahimo naton subong, agod matubos kamo sa inyo mga sala. 35Kinahanglan nga magpabilin kamo diri adlaw-gab-i sa sulod sang pito ka adlaw, kag himuon gid ninyo ang ginapahimo sang Ginoo agod indi kamo mapatay, kay amo ina ang ginsugo sa akon sang Ginoo nga himuon ninyo.” 36Gani gintuman ni Aaron kag sang iya mga anak ang tanan nga ginsugo sang Ginoo paagi kay Moises.
