But when we continued to disobey you,
you became angry with us.
So how can we be saved?
6All of us have become like someone who is “unclean.”
All the good things we do are like dirty rags to you.
All of us are like leaves that have dried up.
Our sins sweep us away like the wind.
7No one prays to you.
No one asks you for help.
You have turned your face away from us.
You have let us feel the effects of our sins.
8Lord, you are our Father.
We are the clay. You are the potter.
Your hands made all of us.
9Don’t be so angry with us, Lord.
Don’t remember our sins anymore.
Please have mercy on us.
All of us belong to you.
10Your sacred cities have become a desert.
Even Zion is a desert.
Jerusalem is a dry and empty place.
11Our people of long ago used to praise you in our holy and glorious temple.
But now it has been burned down.
Everything we treasured has been destroyed.
12Lord, won’t you help us even after everything that’s happened?
Will you keep silent and punish us more than we can stand?
1خۆزگە ئاسمانت شەق دەکرد و دەهاتیتە خوارەوە،
چیاکان لەبەردەمت دەلەرزین!
2وەک ئەوەی ئاگر گڕ بەردەداتە پوشوپەڵاش و
ئاگر وا دەکات ئاو بکوڵێت،
وەرە خوارەوە، با دوژمنانت ناوت بزانن،
با نەتەوەکان لەبەردەمتدا بلەرزن.
3کاتێک کارە ترسناکەکانت کرد کە چاوەڕێمان نەدەکرد،
دابەزیت و چیاکان لەبەردەمتدا لەرزین.
4لە کۆنەوە نە گوێیان لێ بووە و
نە بیستوویانە،
هیچ چاوێک خودایەکی جگە لە تۆ نەبینیوە،
ئەوە بکات بۆ ئەو کەسەی چاوەڕێی دەکات.
5تۆ دێیت بۆ یارمەتی ئەوانەی بە دڵخۆشییەوە کاری ڕاستودروستی دەکەن،
ئەوانەی بیر لە ڕێگاکانت دەکەنەوە هەتا پەیڕەوی بکەن.
بەڵام کاتێک ئێمە بە بەردەوامی گوناهمان لە دژی ئەوان کرد،
تۆ تووڕە بوویت.
ئیتر چۆن ڕزگار دەبین؟
6هەموومان وەک کەسێکی گڵاومان لێ هات،
هەموو کاری ڕاستودروستیمان وەک پەڕۆی پیسی مانگانەی ئافرەت بوو.
هەموو وەک گەڵا سیس بووین،
تاوانەکانمان وەک با هەڵماندەگرێت.
7کەس نییە بە ناوی تۆوە نزا بکات
یان وریابێت بۆ ئەوەی خۆی بە تۆوە بگرێت،
چونکە ڕووی خۆتت لێمان شاردەوە و
بە دەست تاوانەکانمان ئێمەت تواندەوە.
8بەڵام ئەی یەزدان، تۆ باوکی ئێمەیت،
ئێمە قوڕین و تۆ گۆزەکەری ئێمەیت و
ئێمە هەموو دەستکردی تۆین.
9ئەی یەزدان، تەواو تووڕە مەبە و
هەتا کۆتایی تاوانمان بەبیر خۆت مەهێنەرەوە،
تکایە، تەماشامان بکە!
ئێمە هەموو گەلی تۆین.
10شارە پیرۆزەکانت بوون بە چۆڵەوانی،
سییۆن بوو بە چۆڵەوانی و ئۆرشەلیم وێران بوو.
11پەرستگای پیرۆزی و شانازیمان، کە لەوێ باوباپیرانمان ستایشی تۆیان کرد،
بە ئاگر سووتێنراوە و
هەموو ئەو شوێنانەی کە بۆ ئێمە گەنجینە بوون، بە کەلاوە بوون.
12ئەی یەزدان، ئایا لەدوای هەموو ئەمانە لە یارمەتیدان خۆت بە دوور دەگریت؟
ئایا بێدەنگ دەبیت و بە تەواوی سزامان دەدەیت؟
