The Passover Feast
1Celebrate the Passover Feast of the Lord your God in the month of Aviv. In that month he brought you out of Egypt at night. 2Sacrifice an animal from your flock or herd. It is the Passover sacrifice to honor the Lord your God. Sacrifice it at the special place the Lord will choose. He will put his Name there. 3Don’t eat the animal along with bread made with yeast. Instead, for seven days eat bread made without yeast. It’s the bread that reminds you of how much you suffered. Remember that you left Egypt in a hurry. Remember it all the days of your life. Don’t forget the day you left Egypt. 4Don’t keep any yeast anywhere in your land for seven days. You will sacrifice the Passover animal on the evening of the first day. Do not let any of its meat be left over until the next morning.
5You must not sacrifice the Passover animal in just any town the Lord your God is giving you. 6Sacrifice it only in the special place he will choose for his Name. Sacrifice it there in the evening when the sun goes down. Do it on the same day every year. Be sure it’s the day you left Egypt. 7Cook the animal and eat it. Do it at the place the Lord your God will choose. Then in the morning return to your tents. 8For six days eat bread made without yeast. On the seventh day come together for a service to honor the Lord your God. Don’t do any work on that day.
The Feast of Weeks
9Count off seven weeks from the time you begin to cut your grain in the field. 10Then celebrate the Feast of Weeks to honor the Lord your God. Give to the Lord anything you choose to give as an offering. Give, just as the Lord has given to you. 11Be filled with joy in the sight of the Lord your God. Be joyful at the special place he will choose for his Name. You, your children, and your male and female servants should be joyful. So should the Levites living in your towns. So should the outsiders and widows living among you. And so should the children whose fathers have died. 12Remember that you were slaves in Egypt. Be careful to obey the rules I’m giving you.
The Feast of Booths
13Gather the grain from your threshing floors. Take the fresh wine from your winepresses. Then celebrate the Feast of Booths for seven days. 14Be filled with joy at your feast. You, your children, and your male and female servants should be joyful. So should the Levites, the outsiders, and the widows living in your towns. And so should the children whose fathers have died. 15For seven days celebrate the feast to honor the Lord your God. Do it at the place he will choose. The Lord will bless you when you gather all your crops. He’ll bless you in everything you do. And you will be full of joy. 16All your men must appear in front of the Lord your God at the holy tent. They must go to the place he will choose. They must do it three times a year. They must go there to celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Booths. None of your men should appear in front of the Lord without bringing something with him. 17Each of you must bring a gift. Give to the Lord your God, just as he has given to you.
Appoint Judges and Officials
18Appoint judges and officials for each of your tribes. Do it in every town the Lord your God is giving you. They must judge the people fairly. 19Do what is right. Treat everyone the same. Don’t take money from people who want special favors. It makes those who are wise close their eyes to the truth. It twists the words of those who have done nothing wrong. 20Do only what is right. Then you will live. You will take over the land the Lord your God is giving you.
Don’t Worship Other Gods
21Don’t set up a wooden pole used to worship the female god named Asherah. Don’t set it up beside the altar you build to worship the Lord your God. 22Don’t set up a sacred stone to honor another god. The Lord your God hates Asherah poles and sacred stones.
Ang Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel
1“Sauloga ninyo ang Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel sa bulan sa Abib16:1 Abib: Ang unang bulan sa Hebreo nga kalendaryo, gikan sa tunga-tunga sa Marso hangtod sa tunga-tunga sa Abril. sa pagpasidungog sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios, kay nianang bulana gipagawas niya kamo gikan sa Ehipto sa panahon sa kagabhion. 2Paghalad kamo ug karnero o baka agig pagsaulog sa Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel. Ihalad ninyo kini alang sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios didto sa dapit nga iyang pilion diin pasidunggan ang iyang ngalan. 3Kaonon ninyo kini uban sa pan nga walay patubo. Sulod sa pito ka adlaw mokaon kamo ug pan nga walay patubo sama sa inyong gihimo sa dihang nagdali-dali kamog biya gikan sa Ehipto. Kaona ninyo kini nga pan, ang simbolo sa inyong mga pag-antos, aron mahinumdoman ninyo sa tibuok ninyong kinabuhi ang panahon nga mibiya kamo gikan sa Ehipto. 4Kinahanglan nga walay makitang pampatubo sa pan sa inyong mga balay sa tibuok nasod sulod sa pito ka adlaw. Ug kinahanglan nga dili pabuntagan ang karne nga inyong gihalad sa gabii sa unang adlaw sa pista.
5“Ang hayop nga inyong ihalad alang sa pagsaulog sa Pista sa Paglabay sa Anghel dili ninyo ihalad sa bisan asa lang nga lungsod nga ihatag kaninyo sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios, 6kondili, didto lang sa dapit nga iyang pilion diin pasidunggan ang iyang ngalan. Kinahanglang ihalad ninyo kini sa pagsalop sa adlaw, nga mao ang panahon nga mibiya kamo gikan sa Ehipto. 7Lutuon ninyo kini ug kaonon sa dapit nga pilion sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios. Unya pagkabuntag mobalik kamo sa inyong mga tolda. 8Sulod sa unom ka adlaw, magkaon kamo ug pan nga walay patubo, ug sa ikapito nga adlaw magtigom kamo aron sa pagsimba sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios ug dili kamo magtrabaho nianang adlawa.
Ang Pista sa Pag-ani
(Exo. 34:22; Lev. 23:15-21)
9“Pag-ihap kamog pito ka semana gikan sa pagsugod sa ting-ani. 10Unya sauloga ninyo ang Pista sa Pag-ani sa pagpasidungog sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios pinaagi sa paghalad sa inyong kabubut-ong mga halad sumala sa mga panalangin nga inyong nadawat gikan sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios. 11Ug paglipay kamo sa presensya sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios sa dapit nga iyang pilion diin pasidunggan ang iyang ngalan. Magsaulog kamo kauban sa inyong mga kabataan, mga sulugoon, mga Levita nga nagapuyo sa inyong mga lungsod, mga langyaw, mga ilo, ug mga biyuda nga nagapuyo sa inyong mga lungsod. 12Hinumdomi ninyo nga mga ulipon kamo kaniadto sa Ehipto, busa sunda ninyo pag-ayo kini nga mga tulumanon.
Ang Pista sa Pagpatindog sa mga Payag
(Lev. 23:33-43; Num. 29:12-38)
13“Sauloga ninyo ang Pista sa Pagpatindog sa mga Payag sulod sa pito ka adlaw sa kataposan sa pag-ani, pagkahuman ninyo ug giok sa mga trigo ug puga sa mga ubas. 14Paglipay kamo sa inyong pagsaulog niini nga pista uban sa inyong mga kabataan, mga sulugoon, mga Levita, mga langyaw, mga ilo, ug mga biyuda nga nagapuyo sa inyong mga lungsod. 15Sulod sa pito ka adlaw sauloga ninyo kini nga pista sa pagpasidungog sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios didto sa dapit nga iyang pilion. Kay panalanginan sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios ang tanan ninyong abot ug ang tanan ninyong buhaton, ug mahingpit gayod ang inyong kalipay.
16-17“Kada tuig, ang tanan ninyong kalalakin-an kinahanglang motambong niining tulo ka kapistahan: ang Pista sa Pan nga walay Patubo, ang Pista sa Pag-ani, ug ang Pista sa Pagpatindog sa mga Payag. Ang matag usa kanila moadto sa presensya sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios didto sa dapit nga iyang pilion, ug kinahanglan magdala sila ug halad alang sa Ginoo sumala sa panalangin nga gihatag kanila sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios.
Ang mga Maghuhukom
18“Pagbutang kamo ug mga maghuhukom ug uban pang opisyales sa matag tribo ninyo sa tanang lungsod nga gihatag kaninyo sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios. Kini sila magahukom sa katawhan nga walay pinalabi. 19Kinahanglan nga dili nila tuison ang hustisya ug kinahanglan nga wala silay paboran sa ilang paghukom. Kinahanglan dili sila modawat ug suborno kay ang suborno makapabuta sa maalamon ug sa matarong, ug makaimpluwensya sa ilang paghukom. 20Kinahanglang mopatigbabaw ang matuod nga hustisya aron mabuhi kamo ug dugay ug mapanag-iya ninyo ang yuta nga ginahatag kaninyo sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios.
Ang Pagsimba sa mga Dios-dios
21“Ayaw kamo pagpatindog ug poste nga simbolo sa diosa nga si Ashera sa tapad sa halaran nga inyong gihimo alang sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios, 22ug ayaw kamo pagpatindog ug handomanan nga bato aron simbahon, kay gikapungtan kini sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios.
