The Sons of David
1Here are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron.
His first son was Amnon. Amnon’s mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel.
The second son was Daniel. His mother was Abigail from Carmel.
2The third son was Absalom. His mother was Maakah. She was the daughter of Talmai, the king of Geshur.
The fourth son was Adonijah. His mother was Haggith.
3The fifth son was Shephatiah. His mother was Abital.
The sixth son was Ithream. David’s wife Eglah had Ithream by him.
4These six sons were born to David in Hebron. He ruled there for seven and a half years.
After that, he ruled in Jerusalem for 33 years. 5Children were born to him there.
They included Shammua, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon. The mother of these four sons was Bathsheba. She was the daughter of Ammiel.
6David’s children also included Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet, 7Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 8Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet. There were nine of them.
9David was the father of all these sons. His concubines also had sons by him. David’s sons had a sister named Tamar.
The Kings of Judah
10Solomon’s son was Rehoboam.
Abijah was the son of Rehoboam.
Asa was the son of Abijah.
Jehoshaphat was the son of Asa.
11Jehoram was the son of Jehoshaphat.
Ahaziah was the son of Jehoram.
Joash was the son of Ahaziah.
12Amaziah was the son of Joash.
Azariah was the son of Amaziah.
Jotham was the son of Azariah.
13Ahaz was the son of Jotham.
Hezekiah was the son of Ahaz.
Manasseh was the son of Hezekiah.
14Amon was the son of Manasseh.
Josiah was the son of Amon.
15Josiah’s first son was Johanan.
Jehoiakim was his second son.
Zedekiah was the third son.
Shallum was the fourth son.
16The next king after Jehoiakim was his son Jehoiachin.
After that, Josiah’s son Zedekiah became king.
The Royal Family Line After Jehoiachin
17Here are the members of the family line of Jehoiachin. He was taken as a prisoner to Babylon.
His sons were Shealtiel, 18Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama and Nedabiah.
19The sons of Pedaiah were
Zerubbabel and Shimei.
The sons of Zerubbabel were
Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister. 20There were also five other sons. They were Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah and Jushab-Hesed.
21The family line of Hananiah included
Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. It also included the sons of Rephaiah, Arnan, Obadiah and Shekaniah.
22The family line of Shekaniah included
Shemaiah and his sons. They were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah and Shaphat. The total number of men was six.
23The sons of Neariah were
Elioenai, Hizkiah and Azrikam. The total number of sons was three.
24The sons of Elioenai were
Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah and Anani. The total number of sons was seven.

1Estos fueron los hijos de David nacidos en Hebrón:

En Jerusalén reinó treinta y tres años. 5Allí le nacieron Simá, Sobab, Natán y Salomón, hijos de Betsabé,3:5 Betsabé (un ms. hebreo, LXX y Vulgata; véase 2S 11:3); Bet Súa (TM). la hija de Amiel. 6Tuvo también a Ibjar, Elisama, Elifelet, 7Noga, Néfeg, Jafía, 8Elisama, Eliadá y Elifelet; nueve en total. 9Todos estos fueron hijos de David, sin contar los hijos que tuvo con sus concubinas. La hermana de ellos fue Tamar.
Descendientes de Salomón
10Estos fueron los descendientes de Salomón en línea directa: Roboán, Abías, Asá, Josafat, 11Jorán, Ocozías, Joás, 12Amasías, Azarías, Jotán, 13Acaz, Ezequías, Manasés, 14Amón y Josías.
15Los hijos de Josías fueron:
Johanán, el primero;
Joacim, el segundo;
Sedequías, el tercero;
y Salún, el cuarto.
16Los hijos de Joacim fueron Jeconías y Sedequías.
17Los hijos de Jeconías, el desterrado, fueron Salatiel, 18Malquirán, Pedaías, Senazar, Jecamías, Hosamá y Nedabías.
19Los hijos de Pedaías fueron Zorobabel y Simí.
Los hijos de Zorobabel fueron Mesulán y Jananías; Selomit fue hermana de ellos. 20Tuvo también estos cinco: Jasubá, Ohel, Berequías, Jasadías y Yusab Jésed.
21Los descendientes de Jananías fueron Pelatías e Isaías, y también los hijos de Refaías, los de Arnán, los de Abdías y los de Secanías.
22Los descendientes de Secanías fueron Semaías y sus hijos Jatús, Igal, Barías, Nearías y Safat; seis en total.
23Los hijos de Nearías fueron Elihoenay, Ezequías y Azricán; tres en total.
24Los hijos de Elihoenay fueron Hodavías, Eliasib, Pelaías, Acub, Johanán, Delaías y Ananí; siete en total.
