El altar de los holocaustos
38:1-7 – Éx 27:1-8
1Bezalel hizo de madera de acacia el altar de los holocaustos. Era cuadrado, de cinco codos de largo por cinco codos de ancho y tres codos de alto.38:1 Es decir, aprox. 2.3 m de largo por 2.3 de ancho y 1.4 m de alto. 2Puso un cuerno en cada una de sus cuatro esquinas, los cuales formaban una sola pieza con el altar, y el altar lo recubrió de bronce. 3Hizo de bronce todos sus utensilios: sus portacenizas, sus tenazas, sus tazones, sus tridentes y sus braseros. 4Hizo también un enrejado para el altar —una rejilla de bronce— y la puso bajo el reborde inferior del altar, a la mitad de su altura. 5Fundió cuatro anillos de bronce para las cuatro esquinas del enrejado de bronce para pasar por ellos las varas. 6Hizo las varas de madera de acacia, las recubrió de bronce 7y las introdujo en los anillos, de modo que quedaron a los dos costados del altar para poder transportarlo. El altar lo hizo hueco y de tablas.
El recipiente para el lavado
8Además, con el bronce de los espejos de las mujeres que servían a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión, hizo el recipiente de bronce y su pedestal.
El atrio
38:9-20 – Éx 27:9-19
9Después hicieron el atrio. El lado sur medía cien codos38:9 Es decir, aprox. 45 m; también en v. 11. de largo y tenía cortinas de tela de lino fino, 10veinte postes y veinte bases de bronce, con empalmes y ganchos de plata en los postes. 11El lado norte medía también cien codos de largo, y tenía veinte postes y veinte bases de bronce, con ganchos y empalmes de plata en los postes.
12El lado occidental medía cincuenta codos38:12 Es decir, aprox. 23 m; también en v. 13. de ancho, y tenía cortinas y diez postes y diez bases, con ganchos y empalmes de plata en los postes. 13Por el lado oriental, hacia la salida del sol, medía también cincuenta codos de ancho. 14A un lado de la entrada había cortinas de quince codos38:14 Es decir, aprox. 7 m; también en v. 15. de largo, tres postes y tres bases; 15y al otro lado de la entrada había también cortinas de quince codos de largo, tres postes y tres bases. 16Todas las cortinas que rodeaban el atrio eran de tela de lino fino. 17Las bases para los postes eran de bronce, los ganchos y los empalmes en los postes eran de plata y sus capiteles estaban recubiertos de plata. Todos los postes del atrio tenían empalmes de plata.
18La cortina a la entrada del atrio era de lana color azul, carmesí, escarlata y tela de lino fino, bordada artísticamente. Medía veinte codos de largo por cinco codos de alto,38:18 Es decir, aprox. 9 m de largo por 2.3 m de alto. como las cortinas del atrio, 19y tenía cuatro postes y cuatro bases de bronce. Sus ganchos y sus empalmes eran de plata y sus capiteles estaban recubiertos de plata. 20Todas las estacas del toldo para el santuario y del atrio que lo rodeaba eran de bronce.
Los materiales usados
21Estas son las cantidades de los materiales usados para el santuario donde están guardadas las tablas del pacto. Los levitas hicieron este registro por orden de Moisés y bajo la dirección de Itamar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón. 22Bezalel, hijo de Uri y nieto de Hur, de la tribu de Judá, hizo todo lo que el Señor ordenó a Moisés. 23Con él estaba Aholiab, hijo de Ajisamac, de la tribu de Dan, que era artesano, diseñador y recamador en lana teñida de color azul, carmesí y escarlata y en tela de lino. 24El total del oro dado como ofrenda mecida y empleado en toda la obra del santuario era de veintinueve talentos y setecientos treinta siclos,38:24 Es decir, aprox. 1 t. según el peso oficial38:24 el peso oficial. 29El total del bronce dado como ofrenda mecida fue de setenta talentos y dos mil cuatrocientos siclos,38:29 Es decir, aprox. 2.4 t. 30y se empleó en las bases para la entrada de la Tienda de reunión, en el altar de bronce con su enrejado de bronce y todos sus utensilios, 31en las bases para el atrio y la entrada al atrio, así como en todas las estacas del toldo para el santuario y para el atrio que lo rodeaba.
The Altar of Burnt Offering

They made it hollow, out of boards.
The Basin for Washing
8They made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
The Courtyard
9Next they made the courtyard. The south side was a hundred cubits38:9 That is, about 150 feet or about 45 meters long and had curtains of finely twisted linen, 10with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, and with silver hooks and bands on the posts. 11The north side was also a hundred cubits long and had twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, with silver hooks and bands on the posts.
12The west end was fifty cubits38:12 That is, about 75 feet or about 23 meters wide and had curtains, with ten posts and ten bases, with silver hooks and bands on the posts. 13The east end, toward the sunrise, was also fifty cubits wide. 14Curtains fifteen cubits38:14 That is, about 22 feet or about 6.8 meters long were on one side of the entrance, with three posts and three bases, 15and curtains fifteen cubits long were on the other side of the entrance to the courtyard, with three posts and three bases. 16All the curtains around the courtyard were of finely twisted linen. 17The bases for the posts were bronze. The hooks and bands on the posts were silver, and their tops were overlaid with silver; so all the posts of the courtyard had silver bands.
18The curtain for the entrance to the courtyard was made of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen—the work of an embroiderer. It was twenty cubits38:18 That is, about 30 feet or about 9 meters long and, like the curtains of the courtyard, five cubits38:18 That is, about 7 1/2 feet or about 2.3 meters high, 19with four posts and four bronze bases. Their hooks and bands were silver, and their tops were overlaid with silver. 20All the tent pegs of the tabernacle and of the surrounding courtyard were bronze.
The Materials Used
21These are the amounts of the materials used for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the covenant law, which were recorded at Moses’ command by the Levites under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest. 22(Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything the Lord commanded Moses; 23with him was Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan—an engraver and designer, and an embroiderer in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen.) 24The total amount of the gold from the wave offering used for all the work on the sanctuary was 29 talents and 730 shekels,38:24 The weight of the gold was a little over a ton or about 1 metric ton. according to the sanctuary shekel.
25The silver obtained from those of the community who were counted in the census was 100 talents38:25 That is, about 3 3/4 tons or about 3.4 metric tons; also in verse 27 and 1,775 shekels,38:25 That is, about 44 pounds or about 20 kilograms; also in verse 28 according to the sanctuary shekel— 26one beka per person, that is, half a shekel,38:26 That is, about 1/5 ounce or about 5.7 grams according to the sanctuary shekel, from everyone who had crossed over to those counted, twenty years old or more, a total of 603,550 men. 27The 100 talents of silver were used to cast the bases for the sanctuary and for the curtain—100 bases from the 100 talents, one talent for each base. 28They used the 1,775 shekels to make the hooks for the posts, to overlay the tops of the posts, and to make their bands.
29The bronze from the wave offering was 70 talents and 2,400 shekels.38:29 The weight of the bronze was about 2 1/2 tons or about 2.4 metric tons. 30They used it to make the bases for the entrance to the tent of meeting, the bronze altar with its bronze grating and all its utensils, 31the bases for the surrounding courtyard and those for its entrance and all the tent pegs for the tabernacle and those for the surrounding courtyard.
