መዝሙር 68
ብሔራዊ የድል መዝሙር
ለመዘምራን አለቃ የዳዊት መዝሙር፤ ማሕሌት።
1እግዚአብሔር ይነሣ፤ ጠላቶቹ ይበተኑ፤
የሚጠሉትም ከፊቱ ይሽሹ።
2ጢስ እንደሚበንን፣
እንዲሁ አብንናቸው።
ሰም በእሳት ፊት እንደሚቀልጥ፣
ክፉዎችም እንዲሁ ከእግዚአብሔር ፊት ይጥፉ።
3ጻድቃን ግን ደስ ይበላቸው፤
በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ሐሤት ያድርጉ፤
ደስታንና ፍሥሓን የተሞሉ ይሁኑ።
4ለእግዚአብሔር ዘምሩ፤ ለስሙም ተቀኙ፤
በደመናት ላይ የሚሄደውን ከፍ አድርጉት፤68፥4 ወይም በምድረ በዳ ለሚሄደው መንገድን አዘጋጁለት።
ስሙ እግዚአብሔር በተባለው ፊት፣
እጅግ ደስ ይበላችሁ።
5እግዚአብሔር በተቀደሰ ማደሪያው፣
ለድኻ ዐደጉ አባት፣ ለባልቴቲቱም ተሟጋች ነው።
6እግዚአብሔር ብቸኞችን በቤተ ሰብ መካከል ያኖራል፤68፥6 ወይም ብቸኞችን በገዛ ምድራቸው
እስረኞችን ነጻ አውጥቶ ያስፈነድቃል፤
ዐመፀኞች ግን ምድረ በዳ ይኖራሉ።
7እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ በሕዝብህ ፊት በወጣህ ጊዜ፣
በምድረ በዳም በተጓዝህ ጊዜ፣ ሴላ
8በሲና አምላክ፣ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት፣
በእስራኤል አምላክ፣ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት፣
ምድር ተንቀጠቀጠች፤
ሰማያትም ዶፍ አወረዱ።
9እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፣ በቂ ዝናብ አዘነብህ፤
ክው ብሎ የደረቀውን ርስትህን አረሰረስህ።
10መንጋህ መኖሪያው አደረጋት፤
እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ ከበረከትህ ለድኾች ሰጠህ።
11ጌታ እንዲህ ሲል ቃሉን አስተላለፈ፤
ትእዛዙን የሚያውጁትም ብዙ ሰራዊት ናቸው፤
12“የሰራዊት ነገሥታት ፈጥነው ይሸሻሉ፤
በሰፈር የዋሉ ሴቶችም ምርኮን ተካፈሉ።
13በበጎች በረት መካከል68፥13 ወይም በኮርቻ ማስቀመጫዎች ብትገኙ እንኳ፣
ከብር እንደ ተሠሩ የርግብ ክንፎች፣
በቅጠልያ ወርቅ እንደ ተለበጡ ላባዎች ናችሁ።”
14ሁሉን ቻዩ68፥14 ዕብራይስጡ ሻዳይ ይላል። በዚያ የነበሩትን ነገሥታት በበተነ ጊዜ፣
በሰልሞን እንደሚወርድ በረዶ አደረጋቸው።
15አንተ ብርቱ ተራራ፣ የባሳን ተራራ ሆይ፤
አንተ ባለ ብዙ ጫፍ ተራራ፣ የባሳን ተራራ፤
16እናንተ ባለ ብዙ ጫፍ ተራሮች ሆይ፤
እግዚአብሔር ሊኖርበት የመረጠውን ተራራ፣
በርግጥ እግዚአብሔር ለዘላለም የሚኖርበትን ተራራ ለምን በቅናት ዐይን ታያላችሁ?
17የእግዚአብሔር ሠረገላዎች እልፍ አእላፍ ናቸው፤
ሺሕ ጊዜም ሺሕ ናቸው፤
ጌታ ከሲና ወደ መቅደሱ ገባ።
18ወደ ላይ ዐረግህ፤
ምርኮ አጋበስህ፤
እግዚአብሔር አምላክ ሆይ፤ አንተ68፥18 ወይም እናንተ በዚያ ትኖር ዘንድ፣
ከዐመፀኞችም ሳይቀር፣
ከሰዎች ስጦታን ተቀበልህ።
19ሸክማችንን በየዕለቱ የሚሸከምልን፣
አዳኝ አምላካችን፣ ጌታ ይባረክ። ሴላ
20አምላካችን የሚያድን አምላክ ነው፤
ከሞት ማምለጥ የሚቻለውም በጌታ በእግዚአብሔር ነው።
21በርግጥ እግዚአብሔር የጠላቶቹን ራስ፣
በኀጢአታቸውም የሚጸኑትን ሰዎች ጠጕራም ዐናት ይፈነካክታል።
22ጌታ እንዲህ ይላል፤ “ከባሳን መልሼ አመጣቸዋለሁ፤
ከባሕርም ጥልቀት አውጥቼ አመጣቸዋለሁ፤
23እግርህ በጠላትህ ደም ውስጥ እንዲጠልቅ፣
የውሻህም ምላስ ከጠላትህ ድርሻውን እንዲያገኝ ነው።”
24አምላክ ሆይ፤ የክብር አካሄድህ ታየ፤
ይህም አምላኬና ንጉሤ ወደ ቤተ መቅደሱ የሚያደርገው የክብር አካሄድ ነው።
25መዘምራን ከፊት፣ መሣሪያ የሚጫወቱ ከኋላ ሆነው ሲሄዱ፣
ከበሮ የሚመቱ ቈነጃጅትም በመካከላቸው ነበሩ።
26እግዚአብሔርን በጉባኤ አመስግኑት፤ ከእስራኤል ምንጭ የተገኛችሁ
እግዚአብሔርን አመስግኑ።
27የሚመራቸው ትንሹ ብንያም ነው፤
በዚያ በብዙ የሚቈጠሩ የይሁዳ መሳፍንት፣
እንዲሁም የዛብሎንና የንፍታሌም መሳፍንት ይገኛሉ።
28እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ ኀይልህን እዘዝ፤68፥28 ብዙ የዕብራይስጥ ቅጆች፣ የሰብዓ ሊቃናት ትርጕምና የሱርስቱ ቅጅ እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ ኀይልህን ጥራ ይላሉ። አብዛኞቹ የዕብራይስጥ ቅጆች ግን እግዚአብሔር ለአንተ ኀይል ይጠራልሃል ይላሉ።
አምላክ ሆይ ቀድሞ እንዳደረግህልን አሁንም ብርታትህን አሳየን።
29በኢየሩሳሌም ስላለው ቤተ መቅደስህ፣
ነገሥታት እጅ መንሻ ያመጡልሃል።
30በሸንበቆ መካከል ያሉትን አራዊት፣
በሕዝቡ ጥጆች መካከል ያለውንም የኰርማ መንጋ ገሥጽ፤
ብር ይገብር ዘንድም ይንበርከክ፤
ጦርነትን የሚወድዱ ሕዝቦችንም በትናቸው።
31መኳንንት ከግብፅ ይመጣሉ፤
ኢትዮጵያ እጆቿን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ትዘረጋለች።
32የምድር መንግሥታት ሆይ፤ ለእግዚአብሔር ዘምሩ፤
ለጌታ ተቀኙ። ሴላ
33ከጥንት ጀምሮ ከነበሩት ሰማያት በላይ ለወጣው፣
በኀያል ድምፁ ለሚያስገመግመው ዘምሩ።
34ግርማው በእስራኤል ላይ፣
ኀይሉም ከደመናት በላይ ነው፣
እግዚአብሔርን ብርታት የአንተ ነው በሉት።
35እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ አንተ በመቅደስህ ድንቅ ነህ፤
የእስራኤል አምላክ ለሕዝቡ ኀይልና ብርታትን ይሰጣል።
እግዚአብሔር ይባረክ!

1Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.68.1 before…: Heb. from his face
2As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.68.3 exceedingly…: Heb. rejoice with gladness
4Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.68.6 in families: Heb. in a house
7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
8The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.68.9 send: Heb. shake out68.9 confirm: Heb. confirm it
10Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
11The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.68.11 company: Heb. army

13Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

15The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
16Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.68.17 even…: or, even many thousands
18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.68.18 for men: Heb. in the man
19Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
20He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.
21But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
23That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.68.23 dipped: or, red
24They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
25The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.
26Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.68.26 from…: or, ye that are of the fountain of Israel
27There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.68.27 and their…: or, with their company
28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
30Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.68.30 the company…: or, the beasts of the reeds68.30 scatter…: or, he scattereth
31Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.
32Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

35O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
