መዝሙር 58:1-11

መዝሙር 58

የምድር ዳኞች ፈራጅ

ለመዘምራን አለቃ፤ “አታጥፋ” በሚለው ቅኝት የሚዘመር፤ የዳዊት ቅኔ58 ርእሱ የሥነ ጽሑፉን ቅርጽ ወይም የመዝሙሩን ሁኔታ የሚያሳይ ሊሆን ይችላል።

1ኀያላን ሆይ፤ በውኑ ጽድቅ ከአፋችሁ ይወጣል?

የሰው ልጆች ሆይ፤ በቅን ትፈርዳላችሁን?

2የለም፤ በልባችሁ ክፋትን ታውጠነጥናላችሁ፤

በእጃችሁም ዐመፅን በምድር ላይ ትጐነጕናላችሁ።

3ክፉዎች በማሕፀን ሳሉ ከመንገድ የወጡ ናቸው፤

ሲወለዱ ጀምሮ የተሳሳቱና ውሸታሞች ናቸው።

4መርዛቸው እንደ እባብ መርዝ ነው፤

አልሰማ ብላ ጆሮዋን እንደ ደፈነች እፉኝት ናቸው፤

5ጆሮዋንም የደፈነችው የመተተኛውን

ወይም የጠቢቡን ደጋሚ ቃል ላለመስማት ነው።

6አምላክ ሆይ፤ ጥርሳቸውን በአፋቸው ውስጥ ስበር፤

እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ የአንበሶቹን መንጋጋ አወላልቅ!

7ፈጥኖ እንደሚያልፍ ወራጅ ውሃ ይጥፉ፤

ቀስታቸውን ሲስቡ ፍላጻቸው ዱልዱም ይሁን።

8ሲሄድ እንደሚቀልጥ ቀንድ አውጣ ይሁኑ፤

ፀሓይን እንደማያይ ጭንጋፍ ይሁኑ።

9የእሾኽ እሳት ገና ድስታችሁን ሳያሰማው፣

ርጥቡንም ደረቁንም እኩል በዐውሎ ነፋስ ጠራርጎ ይወስዳቸዋል።58፥9 በዕብራይስጡ የዚህ ሐረግ ትርጕም በትክክል አይታወቅም።

10ጻድቃን በቀልን ባዩ ጊዜ ደስ ይላቸዋል፤

እግራቸውንም በግፈኞች ደም ይታጠባሉ።

11ሰዎችም፣ “በርግጥ ለጻድቃን ብድራት ተቀምጦላቸዋል፤

በእውነትም በምድር ላይ የሚፈርድ አምላክ አለ” ይላሉ።

Psalms 58:1-11

To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, Michtam of David.

1Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?58.1 Al-taschith…: or, Destroy not58.1 Michtam: or, A golden Psalm

2Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.

3The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.58.3 as soon…: Heb. from the belly

4Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;58.4 like the poison: Heb. according to the likeness, etc58.4 adder: or, asp

5Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.58.5 charming…: or, be the charmer never so cunning

6Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

7Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

8As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.

9Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.58.9 both…: Heb. as living as wrath

10The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
