መዝሙር 29
ለማዕበሉ ጌታ የቀረበ ውዳሴ
የዳዊት መዝሙር።
1እናንተ ኀያላን፣ ለእግዚአብሔር ስጡ፤
ክብርንና ብርታትን ለእግዚአብሔር ስጡ።
2ለስሙ የሚገባ ክብር ለእግዚአብሔር ስጡ፤
በቅድስናው ግርማ ለእግዚአብሔር ስገዱ።
3የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ በውሆች ላይ ነው፤
የክብር አምላክ አንጐደጐደ፤
እግዚአብሔር በታላላቅ ውሆች ላይ አንጐደጐደ።
4የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ ኀያል ነው፤
የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ ግርማዊ ነው።
5የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ ዝግባን ይሰብራል፤
እግዚአብሔር የሊባኖስን ዝግባ ይሰባብራል።
6ሊባኖስን እንደ ጥጃ፣
ስርዮንንም29፥6 አርሞንዔም የተባለው ተራራ ነው። እንደ አውራሪስ ግልገል ያዘልላል።
7የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ
የእሳት ነበልባል ይረጫል።
8የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ ምድረ በዳውን ያናውጣል፤
የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ የቃዴስን ምድረ በዳ ያናውጣል።
9የእግዚአብሔር ድምፅ ወርካዎችን ይወዘውዛል፤29፥9 ወይም እግዚአብሔር አጋዘን እንድትወልድ ያደርጋል
ጫካዎችንም ይመነጥራል፤
ሁሉም በእርሱ ቤተ መቅደስ ሆኖ “ይክበር!” ይላል።
10እግዚአብሔር በጐርፍ ላይ ዙፋኑን ዘርግቶ ተቀምጧል፤29፥10 ወይም ይቀመጣል
እግዚአብሔር በንጉሥነቱ ለዘላለም በዙፋኑ ላይ ይቀመጣል።
11እግዚአብሔር ለሕዝቡ ብርታትን ይሰጣል፤
እግዚአብሔር ሕዝቡን በሰላም ይባርካል።
Psalm 29
A psalm of David.
1Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to his name;
worship the Lord in the splendour of his29:2 Or Lord with the splendour of holiness.
3The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
4The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirion29:6 That is, Mount Hermon like a young wild ox.
7The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9The voice of the Lord twists the oaks29:9 Or Lord makes the deer give birth
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, ‘Glory!’
10The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord is enthroned as King for ever.
11The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
