መዝሙር 146
ለረድኤት አምላክ ምስጋና
1ሃሌ ሉያ።146፥1 አንዳንዶች ከቍጥር 10 ጭምር እግዚአብሔር ይመስገን ይላሉ።
ነፍሴ ሆይ፤ እግዚአብሔርን ባርኪ።
2በምኖርበት ዘመን ሁሉ እግዚአብሔርን
አመሰግናለሁ፤
በሕይወትም እስካለሁ ለአምላኬ እዘምራለሁ።
3በገዦች አትታመኑ፤ ማዳን በማይችሉ ሥጋ ለባሾችም አትመኩ።
4መንፈሳቸው ትወጣለች፤ ወደ መሬታቸውም ይመለሳሉ፤
ያን ጊዜም ዕቅዳቸው እንዳልነበር ይሆናል።
5ረዳቱ የያዕቆብ አምላክ የሆነ፣
ተስፋውንም በአምላኩ በእግዚአብሔር ላይ የጣለ ሰው ምስጉን ነው፤
6እርሱ ሰማይንና ምድርን፣ ባሕርንም፣
በእነዚህም ውስጥ ያለውን ሁሉ የፈጠረ፣
ታማኝነቱንም ለዘላለም የሚጠብቅ ነው፤
7ለተበደሉት የሚፈርድ፣
ለተራቡት ምግብን የሚሰጥ እርሱ ነው፤
እግዚአብሔር እስረኞችን ከእስራት ያወጣል፤
8እግዚአብሔር የዕውራንን ዐይን ያበራል፤
እግዚአብሔር የተዋረዱትን ከፍ ያደርጋል፤
እግዚአብሔር ጻድቃንን ይወድዳል፤
9እግዚአብሔር ስደተኞችን ይጠብቃል፤
ድኻ ዐደጎችንና መበለቶችን ይደግፋል፤
የክፉዎችን መንገድ ግን ያጠፋል።
10እግዚአብሔር ለዘላለም ይነግሣል፤
ጽዮን ሆይ፤ አምላክሽ ለትውልድ ሁሉ ንጉሥ ነው።

Psalm 146
1Praise the Lord.146:1 Hebrew Hallelu Yah; also in verse 10
Praise the Lord, my soul.
2I will praise the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3Do not put your trust in princes,
in human beings, who cannot save.
4When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord their God.
6He is the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them –
he remains faithful for ever.
7He upholds the cause of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets prisoners free,
8the Lord gives sight to the blind,
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,
the Lord loves the righteous.
9The Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10The Lord reigns for ever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations.
