መዝሙር 120
የሰላም ፀሮች
መዝሙረ መዓርግ።
1በተጨነቅሁ ጊዜ ወደ እግዚአብሔር ተጣራሁ፤
እርሱም መለሰልኝ።
2እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ ከሐሰተኛ ከንፈር፣
ከአታላይ ምላስም አድነኝ።
3ሐሰተኛ አንደበት ሆይ፤ ምን ይከፈልህ?
ከዚህስ የባሰ ምን ይደረግብህ?
4በተሳለ የጦረኛ ቀስት፣
በግራር ከሰል ፍም ይቀጣሃል።
5በሜሼክ እኖራለሁና፣ በቄዳር ድንኳኖች መካከል እቀመጣለሁና ወዮልኝ!
6ሰላምን በሚጠሉ መካከል፣
ነፍሴ እጅግ ብዙ ጊዜ ኖረች።
7እኔ ሰላም ፈላጊ ነኝ፤
እነርሱ ግን በተናገርሁ ጊዜ ጠብ ይሻሉ።
A Song of degrees.
1In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
