መዝሙር 11
የጻድቃን ትምክሕት
ለመዘምራን አለቃ፤ የዳዊት መዝሙር።
1በእግዚአብሔር ታምኛለሁ፤
ታዲያ ነፍሴን፣ “እንደ ወፍ ወደ ተራራ ብረሪ”
ለምን ትሏታላችሁ?
2ደግሞም ለምን እንዲህ ትሉኛላችሁ?
“ክፉዎች፣ እነሆ፤ ቀስታቸውን ገትረዋል፤
የቅኑን ሰው ልብ በጨለማ ለመንደፍ፣
ፍላጻቸውን በአውታሩ ላይ ደግነዋል።
3መሠረቱ ከተናደ፣
ጻድቅ ምን ማድረግ ይችላል?”11፥3 ወይም ጻድቁ ምን እያደረገ ነው?
4እግዚአብሔር በተቀደሰ መቅደሱ አለ፤
የእግዚአብሔር ዙፋን በሰማይ ነው።
ዐይኖቹ ሰዎችን ይመለከታሉ፤
ቅንድቦቹም የሰው ልጆችን ይመረምራሉ።
5እግዚአብሔር ጻድቁንና ኀጥኡን ይመረምራል፤11፥5 ወይም ጻድቁ እግዚአብሔር ኀጥኡን ይመረምራል
ዐመፃን የሚወድዱትን ግን፣
ነፍሱ ትጠላቸዋለች።
6እርሱ በክፉዎች ላይ የእሳት ፍምና ዲን ያዘንባል፤
የጽዋቸውም ዕጣ ፈንታ፣
የሚለበልብ ዐውሎ ነፋስ ነው።
7እግዚአብሔር ጻድቅ ነውና፤
የጽድቅ ሥራም ይወድዳል፤
ቅኖችም ፊቱን ያያሉ።

1In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.11.2 privily: Heb. in darkness
3If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.11.6 an horrible…: or, a burning tempest
7For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
