መዝሙር 5:1-12

መዝሙር 5

የጧት ጸሎት

ለመዘምራን አለቃ፤ በዋሽንት የሚዘመር፣ የዳዊት መዝሙር

1እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ ቃሌን አድምጥ፤

መቃተቴንም ቸል አትበል።

2ንጉሤና አምላኬ ሆይ፤

ወደ አንተ እጸልያለሁና፣

ድረስልኝ ብዬ ስጮህ ስማኝ።

3እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ በማለዳ ድምፄን ትሰማለህ፤

በማለዳ ልመናዬን በፊትህ አቀርባለሁ፤

ፈቃድህንም በጥሞና እጠባበቃለሁ፤

4አንተ በክፋት ደስ የምትሰኝ አምላክ አይደለህም፤

ክፉም ከአንተ ጋር አያድርም።

5እብሪተኞች በፊትህ መቆም አይችሉም፤

ክፉ አድራጊዎችንም ሁሉ ጠላህ።

6ሐሰት የሚናገሩትን ታጠፋቸዋለህ፤

ደም የተጠሙትንና አታላዮችን፣

እግዚአብሔር ይጸየፋቸዋል።

7እኔ ግን በምሕረትህ ብዛት

ወደ ቤትህ እገባለሁ፤

አንተንም በመፍራት፣

ወደ ተቀደሰው መቅደስህ እሰግዳለሁ።

8እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ ከጠላቶቼ የተነሣ፣

በጽድቅህ ምራኝ፤

መንገድህንም በፊቴ አቅናልኝ።

9በንግግራቸው ውስጥ እውነት የለም፤

ልባቸው የጥፋት ጐሬ ነው፤

ጒሮሮአቸው የተከፈተ መቃብር ነው፤

በምላሳቸውም ይሸነግላሉ።

10አምላክ ሆይ፤ የእጃቸውን ስጣቸው!

ተንኰላቸው መውደቂያቸው ይሁን፤

ከኀጢአታቸው ብዛት የተነሣ አስወግዳቸው፣

በአንተ ላይ ዐምፀዋልና።

11አንተን መጠጊያ የሚያደርጉ ሁሉ ግን ደስ ይበላቸው፤

ዘላለም በደስታ ይዘምሩ፤

ስምህን የሚወዱ በአንተ ደስ እንዲላቸው፣

ተከላካይ ሁንላቸው።

12እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ አንተ ጻድቃንን ትባርካቸዋለህ፤

በሞገስህም እንደ ጋሻ ትከልላቸዋለህ።

Psalms 5:1-12

To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.

1Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

2Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

3My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

4For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.5.5 in…: Heb. before thine eyes

6Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.5.6 bloody…: Heb. man of bloods and deceit
