10Kuusi n’azaala

Nimuloodi, Nimuloodi n’akula n’afuuka omusajja omuzira ow’amaanyi mu nsi.

11Mizulayimu n’azaala

Ludimu, ne Anamimu, ne Lekabimu, ne Nafutukimu; 12ne Pasulusimu, ne Kasulukimu (Abafirisuuti mwe basibuka), ne Kafutolimu.

13Kanani n’azaala

Sidoni, ye mutabani we omukulu, ne Keesi; 14n’Abayebusi, n’Abamoli, n’Abagirugaasi; 15n’Abakiivi, n’Abaluki, n’Abasiini; 16n’Aballuvadi, n’Abazemali n’Abakamasi.

17Batabani ba Seemu baali:

20Yokutaani n’azaala

43These were the kings who reigned in Edom before any Israelite king reigned:

44When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah succeeded him as king.

45When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded him as king.

46When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith.

47When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.

48When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river1:48 Possibly the Euphrates succeeded him as king.

49When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king.

50When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him as king. Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 52Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 53Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54Magdiel and Iram.

These were the chiefs of Edom.
