شاول و جادووگەرەکەی کانی دۆر
1ئەوە بوو لەو ڕۆژانەدا فەلەستییەکان سوپاکانیان بۆ جەنگ لە دژی ئیسرائیل کۆکردەوە، جا ئاخیش بە داودی گوت: «دڵنیابە، خۆت و پیاوەکانت لە سوپاکەدا لەگەڵ من دەبن.»
2داودیش بە ئاخیشی گوت: «ئینجا دەزانیت خزمەتکارەکەت چی دەکات.»
ئاخیش بە داودی گوت: «لەبەر ئەوە بە درێژایی ژیانت دەتکەمە پاسەوانی ژیانم.»
3کاتێک ساموئێل مردبوو و هەموو ئیسرائیل شیوەنیان بۆ گێڕا، لە ڕامە لە شارۆچکەکەی خۆی ناشتیان. لەو ماوەیەدا شاول نێوانگر28:3 نێوانگر: لێرەدا بەو واتایە دێت، کەسێکە کە گوایە هۆی پەیوەندی ڕێکخەرە لەنێوان خەڵکی مردوو و زیندوودا. و ڕۆح ئامادەکارەکانی28:3 بەو کەسانە دەگوترێت کە ڕۆح ئامادە دەکەن. بڕوانە لێڤییەکان 19:31. لە خاکەکە دوورخستبووەوە.
4لەو کاتەدا فەلەستییەکان کۆبوونەوە و هاتن و لە شونێم خێوەتگایان هەڵدا، شاولیش هەموو ئیسرائیلی کۆکردەوە و لە گلبۆع خێوەتگایان هەڵدا. 5جا شاول کە سوپای فەلەستییەکانی بینی ترسا و دڵی زۆر شڵەژا. 6کاتێک شاول پرسیاری لە یەزدان کرد، یەزدان نە بە خەون و نە بە ئوریم28:6 دوو بەردی گرانبەها بوون، لە کاتی بڕیاردان بۆ زانینی خواستی خودا بەکارهێنراون، بڕوانە 23:9-12 و دەرچوون 28:30. و نە بە پێغەمبەرەکان وەڵامی نەدایەوە. 7لەبەر ئەوە شاول بە خزمەتکارەکانی گوت: «بەدوای ژنێکی نێوانگردا28:7 بەدوای ژنێکی نێوانگر بگەڕێن: بڕوانە لێڤییەکان 20:6. بۆم بگەڕێن، هەتا بچمە لای و پرسیاری لێ بکەم.»
خزمەتکارەکانیشی پێیان گوت: «ژنێکی نێوانگر لە کانی دۆر هەیە.»
8ئینجا شاول دەموچاوی خۆی گۆڕی و جلێکی دیکەی لەبەرکرد، دوو پیاوی لەگەڵ خۆی برد و بە شەو چوو بۆ لای ژنەکە، پێی گوت: «تکایە بەهۆی جنۆکەوە ڕۆح ئامادەکاریم بۆ بکە، ئەو کەسەم بۆ دەربخە کە پێتی دەڵێم.»
9بەڵام ژنەکە پێی گوت: «خۆت دەزانیت شاول چی کردووە و چۆن نێوانگر و ڕۆح ئامادەکارەکانی لە خاکەکە بڕیوەتەوە،28:9 لە خاکەکە بڕیوەتەوە: بڕوانە لێڤییەکان 20:27. ئیتر بۆچی داو بۆ ژیانم دەنێیتەوە هەتا بکوژرێم؟»
10شاولیش بە یەزدان سوێندی بۆ خوارد و گوتی: «بە یەزدانی زیندوو، لەم کارەدا هیچ سزایەکت نادرێتە پاڵ.»
11جا ژنەکە گوتی: «کێت بۆ دەربخەم؟»
ئەویش گوتی: «ساموئێلم بۆ دەربخە.»
12کە ژنەکە ساموئێلی بینی بە دەنگێکی بەرز قیژاندی و بە شاولی گوت: «بۆچی هەڵتخەڵەتاندم؟ تۆ شاولیت.»
13پاشاش پێی گوت: «مەترسە، چیت بینی؟»
ژنەکە بە شاولی گوت: «ڕۆحێکم بینی لە زەوییەوە سەردەکەوت.»
14ئەویش پێی گوت: «شێوەی چۆنە؟»
ژنەکە گوتی: «پیرەمێردێکە سەردەکەوێت و کەوایەکی لەبەردایە.»
جا شاول زانی ئەوە ساموئێلە، سەری دانەواند و کڕنۆشی برد.
15ساموئێل بە شاولی گوت: «بۆچی ڕاتچڵەکاندم و سەرت خستم؟»
شاولیش گوتی: «زۆر لە تەنگانەدام. فەلەستییەکان لە دژم دەجەنگن و خوداش لێم جیا بووەتەوە و چیدی وەڵامم ناداتەوە، نە بەهۆی پێغەمبەرەکانەوە و نە بە خەون، منیش بانگم کردیت هەتا پێم بڵێی چی بکەم.»
16ساموئێلیش گوتی: «بۆچی پرسیارم لێ دەکەیت لە کاتێکدا یەزدان لێت جیا بووەتەوە و بووە بە دوژمنت؟ 17یەزدان ئەوەی بۆ داود کرد، کە لە ڕێگەی منەوە فەرمووی. یەزدان پاشایەتییەکەی لەژێر دەستت دەرهێنا و دای بە نزیکەکەت، کە داودە. 18وەک چۆن گوێڕایەڵی فەرمایشتی یەزدان نەبوویت و گڕی تووڕەیی ئەوت بەسەر عەمالێقییەکاندا نەباراند، لەبەر ئەوە یەزدان ئەمڕۆ ئەمەی بەسەرت هێناوە. 19هەروەها یەزدان، ئیسرائیلیش لەگەڵ تۆدا بە دەست فەلەستییەکانەوە دەدات، سبەینێ خۆت و کوڕەکانت لەگەڵ مندا دەبن، هەروەها یەزدان سوپای ئیسرائیلیش بەدەست فەلەستییەکانەوە دەدات.»
20شاول دەستبەجێ بە درێژایی خۆی کەوتە سەر زەوی و زۆر لە قسەکانی ساموئێل ترسا. هیچ هێزی تێدا نەما، چونکە بە درێژایی ئەو شەو و ڕۆژە هیچ خواردنێکی نەخواردبوو.
21کاتێک ژنەکە هاتە لای شاول و بینی زۆر پەشۆکاوە، پێی گوت: «ئەوەتا کەنیزەکەت گوێڕایەڵی فەرمانت بوو و ژیانی خۆمم خستە ناو لەپی دەستمەوە و گوێم لەو قسەیەت گرت کە پێت گوتم. 22ئێستا تۆش گوێ لە کەنیزەکەت بگرە، پارچەیەک نان لەبەردەمتدا دادەنێم و بیخۆ، بۆ ئەوەی هێزت تێدابێت کاتێک بە ڕێگادا دەڕۆیت.»
23ئەویش ڕازی نەبوو و گوتی: «ناخۆم.»
بەڵام دوو خزمەتکارەکەی و ژنەکەش زۆریان لێکرد، ئەویش گوێی لێیان گرت و لەسەر زەوییەکە هەستا و لەسەر جێگاکە دانیشت.
24ژنەکە جوانەگایەکی قەڵەوی لە ماڵەوە هەبوو، بە پەلە سەری بڕی و ئاردی برد و کردی بە هەویر و نانی فەتیرەی کرد. 25پاشان لەبەردەم شاول و دوو خزمەتکارەکەیدا داینا و خواردیان. ئینجا هەستان و لەو شەوەدا ڕۆیشتن.
1In those days the Philistines gathered their forces to fight against Israel. Achish said to David, “You must understand that you and your men will accompany me in the army.”
2David said, “Then you will see for yourself what your servant can do.”
Achish replied, “Very well, I will make you my bodyguard for life.”
Saul and the Medium at Endor
3Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in his own town of Ramah. Saul had expelled the mediums and spiritists from the land.
4The Philistines assembled and came and set up camp at Shunem, while Saul gathered all Israel and set up camp at Gilboa. 5When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid; terror filled his heart. 6He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets. 7Saul then said to his attendants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her.”
“There is one in Endor,” they said.
8So Saul disguised himself, putting on other clothes, and at night he and two men went to the woman. “Consult a spirit for me,” he said, “and bring up for me the one I name.”
9But the woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done. He has cut off the mediums and spiritists from the land. Why have you set a trap for my life to bring about my death?”
10Saul swore to her by the Lord, “As surely as the Lord lives, you will not be punished for this.”
11Then the woman asked, “Whom shall I bring up for you?”
“Bring up Samuel,” he said.
12When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out at the top of her voice and said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul!”
13The king said to her, “Don’t be afraid. What do you see?”
The woman said, “I see a ghostly figure28:13 Or see spirits; or see gods coming up out of the earth.”
14“What does he look like?” he asked.
“An old man wearing a robe is coming up,” she said.
Then Saul knew it was Samuel, and he bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground.
15Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”
“I am in great distress,” Saul said. “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has departed from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.”
16Samuel said, “Why do you consult me, now that the Lord has departed from you and become your enemy? 17The Lord has done what he predicted through me. The Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hands and given it to one of your neighbors—to David. 18Because you did not obey the Lord or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the Lord has done this to you today. 19The Lord will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The Lord will also give the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.”
20Immediately Saul fell full length on the ground, filled with fear because of Samuel’s words. His strength was gone, for he had eaten nothing all that day and all that night.
21When the woman came to Saul and saw that he was greatly shaken, she said, “Look, your servant has obeyed you. I took my life in my hands and did what you told me to do. 22Now please listen to your servant and let me give you some food so you may eat and have the strength to go on your way.”
23He refused and said, “I will not eat.”
But his men joined the woman in urging him, and he listened to them. He got up from the ground and sat on the couch.
24The woman had a fattened calf at the house, which she butchered at once. She took some flour, kneaded it and baked bread without yeast. 25Then she set it before Saul and his men, and they ate. That same night they got up and left.
