1ئینجا یەزدان بە نوحی فەرموو: «خۆت و خاووخێزانەکەت بڕۆنە ناو کەشتییەکەوە، چونکە لەم نەوەیەدا تەنها تۆم بە ڕاستودروست بینیوە لەبەردەمم. 2لە هەموو جۆرێکی ئاژەڵە پاکەکان، نێر و مێ، حەوت جووت لەگەڵ خۆت دەبەیت، لەو ئاژەڵانەی پاک نین، نێر و مێ، جووتێک دەبەیت. 3لە باڵندەکانی ئاسمانیش حەوت جووت، لە نێر و مێیان، بۆ هێشتنەوەی ڕەگەزەکانیان لەسەرتاسەری ڕووی زەوی. 4دوای حەوت ڕۆژی دیکە، چل شەو و چل ڕۆژ باران بەسەر زەویدا دەبارێنم. هەموو ئەو بوونەوەرە زیندووانە لەسەر ڕووی زەوی دەسڕمەوە کە دروستم کردوون.»
5نوح هەموو شتێکی بەپێی فەرمانی یەزدان ئەنجام دا.
6نوح تەمەنی شەش سەد ساڵ بوو کە لافاو لەسەر زەوی هەستا. 7نوح خۆی و کوڕەکانی و ژنەکەی و بووکەکانی پێش ئاوی لافاوەکە چوونە ناو کەشتییەکە. 8لە ئاژەڵە پاک و ئاژەڵە ناپاکەکان، لە باڵندە و هەموو ئەو بوونەوەرانەی لەسەر زەوی دەخشێن، 9جووت جووت لە نێر و مێ، هاتنە لای نوح و چوونە ناو کەشتییەکە، هەروەک چۆن خودا فەرمانی بە نوح دابوو. 10دوای حەوت ڕۆژەکە ئاوی لافاوەکە هاتە سەر زەوی.
11کاتێک نوح تەمەنی شەش سەد ساڵ بوو، لە حەڤدەمین ڕۆژی مانگی دووەم، لەو ڕۆژەدا هەموو سەرچاوەکانی دەریا گەورەکەی ژێر زەوی7:11 بەپێی بیروباوەڕی خەڵکی ڕۆژهەڵاتی کۆن، لەژێر زەویدا دەریایەک هەبووە کە سەرچاوەی کانیاو و ڕووبارەکان بووە. تەقینەوە و دەروازەکانی ئاسمانیش کرانەوە. 12چل شەو و چل ڕۆژیش لەسەر زەوی باران باری.
13هەر لە هەمان ڕۆژدا نوح و کوڕەکانی، سام و حام و یافەت، پێکەوە لەگەڵ ژنەکەی و هەر سێ بووکەکەی چوونە ناو کەشتییەکەوە. 14لەگەڵیان هەموو ئاژەڵە کێوییەکان بەپێی جۆریان، هەموو ئاژەڵە ماڵییەکان بەپێی جۆریان، هەموو بوونەوەرە خشۆکەکان بەپێی جۆریان، هەموو باڵندەیەک بەپێی جۆریان و هەموو باڵدارێک. 15جووت جووت لە هەموو بوونەوەرێک کە هەناسەی ژیانیان تێدابوو، چوونە ناو کەشتییەکە بۆ لای نوح. 16ئەوانەی دەهاتنە ناوەوە لە نێر و مێی هەموو گیاندارێکی زیندوو بوون، وەک چۆن خودا فەرمانی بە نوح دابوو. ئینجا یەزدان لەدوایەوە دەرگای کەشتییەکەی داخست.
17لافاوەکە بۆ ماوەی چل ڕۆژ لەسەر زەوی بەردەوام بوو. کاتێک ئاو زۆر بوو کەشتییەکەی هەڵگرت، ئیتر کەشتییەکە لە زەوی بەرزبووەوە. 18ئاو لەسەر زەوی بەرزبووەوە و گەلێک زۆر بوو، کەشتییەکەش لەسەر ڕووی ئاوەکە دەڕۆیشت. 19ئاو لەسەر زەوی زۆر بەرزبووەوە هەتا هەموو شاخە بەرزەکانی ژێر هەموو ئاسمان داپۆشران. 20بە بەرزی پازدە باڵ7:20 پازدە باڵ: نزیکەی 7 مەترە. ئاو لەسەر شاخەکان بەرزبووەوە، شاخەکانیش داپۆشران. 21ئیتر هەموو شتێکی زیندوو کە لەسەر زەوی دەجوڵایەوە لەناوچوو، لە باڵندە و ئاژەڵی ماڵی و ئاژەڵی کێوی و هەموو ئەو کۆمەڵە زیندەوەرانەی لەسەر زەوی دەجوڵانەوە، هەموو ئادەمیزادیش. 22هەر شتێک لەسەر وشکانی کە هەناسەی ژیان لە لووتیدا بوو، مرد. 23هەموو شتێکی زیندوو لەسەر ڕووی زەوی سڕایەوە، مرۆڤ و ئاژەڵ و بوونەوەرە خشۆکەکان و هەموو باڵندەکانی ئاسمانیش، لەسەر زەوی سڕانەوە. تەنها نوح و ئەوانە مانەوە کە لە کەشتییەکە لەگەڵی بوون.
24ئاوی لافاویش سەد و پەنجا ڕۆژ لەسەر زەوی بوو.

5And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. 6And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7¶ And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. 8Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, 9There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. 10And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.7.10 after…: or, on the seventh day
11¶ In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.7.11 windows: or, floodgates 12And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; 14They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.7.14 sort: Heb. wing 15And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 16And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
17And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. 18And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. 19And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. 20Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.7.22 the breath…: Heb. the breath of the spirit of life 23And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. 24And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
