زەبوورێکی داودە کاتێک لە دەستی ئەبشالۆمی3:0 سێیەم کوڕی داود بوو، ناکۆکی لەگەڵ داودی باوکی هەبوو و سەرکردایەتی یاخیبوونێکی کرد لە دژی. بۆ زانیاری زیاتر بڕوانە دووەم ساموئێل بەشەکانی 13–18. کوڕی هەڵات.
1ئەی یەزدان، دوژمنانم چەند زۆرن!
چەند زۆرن لە دژم سەریان هەڵداوە!
2زۆر کەس لەبارەی منەوە دەڵێن:
«خودا ڕزگاری ناکات.»3:2 لە دەقی عیبری لێرە و لە ئایەتی 4 و 8، وشەی سەلاە هەیە کە لەوانەیە ئاماژەیەکە بۆ وەستانی مۆسیقا و خوێندنەوە.
3بەڵام تۆ ئەی یەزدان، قەڵغانی منیت،
شکۆمەندی منیت و سەرم بەرز دەکەیتەوە.
4پڕ بە دەنگم هاوار بۆ یەزدان دەکەم،
ئەویش لە کێوی پیرۆزی خۆیەوە وەڵامم دەداتەوە.
5ڕادەکشێم و دەخەوم،
بەئاگادێمەوە، چونکە یەزدان پشتگیریم دەکات.
6لە دەیان هەزار کەس ناترسم،
ئەوانەی دەوریان گرتووم.
7ئەی یەزدان، ڕاپەڕە!
ئەی خودای من، ڕزگارم بکە!
بێگومان لە بناگوێی دوژمنەکانم دەدەیت و
کەڵبەی بەدکاران وردوخاش دەکەی.
8ڕزگاری لە یەزدانەوەیە،
با بەرەکەتەکەت لەسەر گەلەکەت بێت.
Psalm 3
A psalm of David when he ran away from his son Absalom.
1Lord, I have so many enemies!
So many people are rising up against me!
2Many are saying about me,
“God will not save him.”
3Lord, you are like a shield that keeps me safe.
You bring me honor. You help me win the battle.
4I call out to the Lord.
He answers me from his holy mountain.
5I lie down and sleep.
I wake up again, because the Lord takes care of me.
6I won’t be afraid even though tens of thousands
attack me on every side.
7Lord, rise up!
My God, save me!
Strike all my enemies in the face.
Break the teeth of sinful people.
8Lord, you are the one who saves.
May your blessing be on your people.
