زەبوورێکی داود.
1یەزدان شوانی منە، پێویستم بە هیچ نابێت.
2لە لەوەڕگای سەوزدا دەملەوەڕێنێت و
دەمباتە سەر ئاوی هێمن و سازگار،
3گیانم دەبووژێنێتەوە.
بەرەو ڕێگای ڕاستودروستی ڕێنماییم دەکات
لە پێناوی ناوی خۆی.
4ئەگەر تەنانەت بەناو دۆڵی سێبەری مەرگیشدا بڕۆم،
لە هیچ خراپەیەک ناترسم،
لەبەر ئەوەی تۆ لەگەڵمدای،
گۆچان و داردەستەکەت دڵنەواییم دەکەن.
5سفرەم بۆ ئامادە دەکەیت لەبەردەم دوژمنانم،
زەیت لە سەرم دەدەیت بۆ دەستنیشانکردنم،
جامەکەم لێوانلێو دەکەیت.
6بێگومان بە درێژایی ژیانم چاکە و خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕ بەدوام دەکەون،
بۆ هەتاهەتایە لە ماڵی یەزدان دەژیم.

1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.23.5 anointest: Heb. makest fat
