2داود لە حەبرۆن چەند کوڕێکی بوو:
کوڕە نۆبەرەکەی ئەمنۆن بوو کە لە ئەحینۆعەمی یەزرەعیلی بوو؛
3دووەمیان کیلئیاڤ لە ئەبیگایل بوو کە بێوەژنەکەی نابالی کارمەلی بوو؛
سێیەمیان ئەبشالۆمی3:3 ئەبشالۆم: ناوێکی عیبرییە بە واتای باوکی ئاشتی، بەڵام ناکۆکی لەگەڵ داودی باوکی هەبوو و سەرکردایەتی یاخیبوونێکی کرد لە دژی. بۆ زانیاری زیاتر بڕوانە بەشەکانی 13–18 و زەبوورەکان 3. کوڕی مەعکای کچی تەلمەی پاشای گەشوور بوو؛
4چوارەمیان ئەدۆنیای کوڕی حەگیس بوو؛
پێنجەمیان شەفەتیای کوڕی ئەبیتەل بوو؛
5شەشەمیان یەترعام لە عەگلای ژنی داود بوو.
ئەمانە لە حەبرۆن بۆ داود لەدایک بوون.
ئەبنێر دەچێتە پاڵ داود
6ئەوە بوو کاتێک جەنگ لەنێوان بنەماڵەی شاول و ماڵی داود بەرپا بوو، ئەبنێر پێگەی خۆی لەناو بنەماڵەی شاول بەهێز دەکرد. 7شاول کەنیزەیەکی هەبوو ناوی ڕیچپای کچی ئەییا بوو، ئیشبۆشەتیش بە ئەبنێری گوت: «بۆچی لەگەڵ کەنیزەکەی باوکم جووتبوویت؟»
8ئەبنێر بە قسەکەی ئیشبۆشەت زۆر تووڕە بوو و گوتی: «ئایا من سەگێکم لە خزمەتی یەهودا؟ هەتا ئەمڕۆ من دڵسۆز بووم لەگەڵ ماڵی شاولی باوکت و لەگەڵ براکانی و هاوڕێیەکانی، هەروەها تۆم نەداوەتە دەست داودەوە. تۆش بەهۆی پەیوەندیم بەو ژنەوە گوناهبارم دەکەیت؟ 9با خودا توندترین سزای ئەبنێر بدات، ئەگەر من پاڵپشتی داود نەکەم و سوێندەکەی یەزدان نەهێنمە دی، 10بۆ گواستنەوەی پاشایەتییەکە لە بنەماڵەی شاولەوە، هەروەها دامەزراندنی تەختی داود لە ئیسرائیل و یەهودا، لە دانەوە هەتا بیری شابەع3:10 واتا لە باکووری ئیسرائیل هەتا باشوور..» 11ئیتر ئیشبۆشەتیش نەیتوانی بە یەک وشە وەڵامی ئەبنێر بداتەوە، چونکە لێی دەترسا.
12ئینجا ئەبنێر نێردراوی بۆ لای داود نارد بۆ ئەوەی بە ناوی ئەوەوە بڵێن: «ئەم خاکە هی کێیە؟» هەروەها بڵێن: «پەیمانی خۆتم لەگەڵدا ببەستە، ئەوەتا منیش دەستم لەگەڵتدایە بۆ ئەوەی هەموو ئیسرائیل بۆ خۆت بگەڕێنیتەوە.»
13داودیش گوتی: «باشە، من پەیمانی خۆمت لەگەڵدا دەبەستم، بەڵام یەک شتت لێ داوا دەکەم، ئەویش ئەوەیە: کاتێک دێیت بۆ ئەوەی بمبینیت، ئەگەر میخەلی کچی شاول لەگەڵ خۆتدا نەهێنیت، ئەوا ڕووی من نابینیت.» 14ئینجا داود نێردراوی بۆ لای ئیشبۆشەتی کوڕی شاول نارد و گوتی: «میخەلی ژنم بدەوە کە بە سەد پێستی سەری ئەندامی نێرینەی فەلەستییەکان لە خۆمم مارە کردووە.»
15لەبەر ئەوە ئیشبۆشەت ناردی و لە مێردەکەی وەریگرتەوە، لە پەلتیێلی کوڕی لایش. 16مێردەکەی لەگەڵی دەڕۆیشت و بەدوایدا دەگریا هەتا گەیشتە بەحوریم. ئینجا ئەبنێر پێی گوت: «بڕۆ، بگەڕێوە!» ئەویش گەڕایەوە.
17پاشان ئەبنێر لەگەڵ پیرانی ئیسرائیل قسەی کرد و گوتی: «ئێوە لەمێژە داوای داودتان دەکرد ببێتە پاشاتان، 18کەواتە ئێستا ئەوە بکەن! لەبەر ئەوەی یەزدان بە داودی فەرمووە: ”من بە دەستی داودی بەندەم ئیسرائیلی گەلم لە دەست فەلەستییەکان و سەرجەم دوژمنەکانیان ڕزگار دەکەم.“»
19هەروەها ئەبنێر لەگەڵ بنیامینییەکان قسەی کرد. پاشان ئەبنێر چوو بۆ ئەوەی لە حەبرۆن لەگەڵ داود قسە بکات دەربارەی هەموو ئەوەی ئیسرائیل و هەموو بنەماڵەی بنیامین پەسەندیان کردووە. 20کاتێک ئەبنێر لەگەڵ بیست پیاو هاتە حەبرۆن بۆ لای داود، داود خوانێکی ساز کرد بۆ ئەبنێر و ئەو پیاوانەی لەگەڵیدا بوون. 21ئەبنێر بە داودی گوت: «هەڵدەستم و دەڕۆم، تاکو هەموو ئیسرائیل بۆ پاشای گەورەم کۆبکەمەوە، بۆ ئەوەی پەیمانت لەگەڵدا ببەستن و تۆش بەپێی هەموو ئەوانەی کە دڵت ئارەزووی دەکات فەرمانڕەوایی بکەیت.» داودیش ئەبنێری بەڕێکرد و ئەویش بە سەلامەتی ڕۆیشت.
کوشتنی ئەبنێر لەلایەن یۆئابەوە
22لەو کاتەدا یۆئاب و پیاوانی داود لە پەلامارێک دەگەڕانەوە و دەستکەوتێکی زۆریان لەگەڵ خۆیاندا هێنابوو. بەڵام ئەبنێر لە حەبرۆن لەگەڵ داود نەبوو، چونکە بەڕێی کردبوو و بە سەلامەتی ڕۆیشتبوو. 23کاتێک یۆئاب و هەموو ئەو لەشکرەی لەگەڵی بوو هاتن، بە یۆئابیان ڕاگەیاند و گوتیان: «ئەبنێری کوڕی نێر هات بۆ لای پاشا و ئەویش بەڕێی کرد و بە سەلامەتی ڕۆیشت.»
24لەبەر ئەوە یۆئاب بۆ لای پاشا چووە ژوورەوە و گوتی: «چیت کرد؟ ئەبنێر هات بۆ لات، بۆچی بەڕێت کرد بڕوات؟ ئێستا ڕۆیشتووە! 25تۆ ئەبنێری کوڕی نێر دەناسیت؛ تەنها بۆ ئەوە هاتووە فریوت بدات و چاودێریی جوڵانەوەت بکات و بە هەموو کارەکانت بزانێت.»
26کاتێک یۆئاب داودی بەجێهێشت، چەند نێردراوێکی بەدوای ئەبنێردا نارد و لە ئەمباراوی سیرادا گەڕاندیانەوە، بەڵام داود ئاگای لەمە نەبوو. 27کاتێک ئەبنێر گەڕایەوە حەبرۆن، یۆئاب بۆ ئەوەی بە نهێنی قسەی لەگەڵدا بکات بردییە کەناری دەروازەکەوە و لەوێدا لە تۆڵەی خوێنی عەساهێلی برای سکی هەڵدڕی و کوشتی.
28پاشان داود ئەمەی بیستەوە و گوتی: «من خۆم و پاشایەتییەکەم هەتاهەتایە لای یەزدان لە خوێنی ئەبنێری کوڕی نێر بێبەرین. 29با لە ملی یۆئاب و هەموو ماڵی باوکی بێت! با لە ماڵی یۆئاب زامی درێژخایەن و گەڕوگولی3:29 گەڕوگول: نەک تەنها گولی، بەڵام ئەم وشەیە بۆ چەند نەخۆشییەکی جیاوازی پێست بەکارهاتووە. و دارشەقە بەدەست و بە شمشێر کوژراو و برسی نان نەبڕێتەوە.»
30(یۆئاب و ئەبیشەی برای، ئەبنێریان کوشت، چونکە ئەو عەساهێلی برایانی لە گبعۆن لە جەنگدا کوشتبوو.)
31ئینجا داود بە یۆئاب و هەموو گەل و ئەوانەی لەگەڵیدا بوون، پێی گوتن: «جلەکانتان لەبەر خۆتان دابدڕن و جلوبەرگی گوش3:31 لە کاتی ماتەمگێڕان و تۆبەکردندا جلوبەرگی لە گوش دروستکراویان لەبەرکردووە کە ئەزیەتی پێستیانی داوە. بپۆشن و لەبەردەم ئەبنێردا شیوەن بگێڕن.» داودی پاشاش لەدوای دارەمەیتەکە3:31 یان دارەبازەکە. دەڕۆیشت. 32ئەبنێریان لە حەبرۆن ناشت و پاشاش بە دەنگی بەرز لەسەر گۆڕی ئەبنێر گریا. هەموو گەلیش گریان.
33هەروەها پاشا بۆ ئەبنێر لاواندییەوە و گوتی:
«ئایا دەبێت ئەبنێر وەک چۆن گێلێک دەمرێت ئاوا بمرێت؟
34دەستەکانت نەبەسترابوونەوە و
پێیەکانت بە زنجیر کۆت نەکرابوون.
کەوتی، هەروەک یەکێک لەبەردەم بەدکاران کەوتبێت.»
جا هەموو گەل دەستیان بە گریان کردەوە بۆی.
35ئیتر هەموو گەل هاتن بۆ ئەوەی نان بدەنە داود و بیخوات. هێشتا ڕۆژ بوو، بەڵام داود سوێندی خوارد: «با خودا توندترین سزام بدات، ئەگەر پێش خۆرئاوابوون نان یان هەر شتێکی دیکە بخۆم.»
36هەموو گەل زانییان و لەلایان پەسەند بوو، هەروەها هەموو ئەو شتانەی کە پاشا کردی لەلایەن هەموو گەلەوە پەسەند بوو. 37ئینجا لەو ڕۆژەدا هەموو گەل و هەموو ئیسرائیل زانییان کە کوشتنی ئەبنێری کوڕی نێر لەلایەن پاشاوە نەبوو.
38پاشا بە خزمەتکارەکانی گوت: «ئایا نازانن ئەمڕۆ لە ئیسرائیلدا میرێک و گەورە پیاوێک کەوتووە؟ 39ئەمڕۆش، هەرچەندە من پاشا دەستنیشانکراوەکەم، بەڵام لاوازم و ئەم کوڕانەی چەرویا لە من بەهێزترن. یەزدان خراپەکار بەپێی خراپەکەی سزا دەدات!»
1The war between the house of Saul and the house of David lasted a long time. David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.
2Sons were born to David in Hebron:
his firstborn was Amnon the son of Ahinoam of Jezreel;
3his second, Kileab the son of Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel;
the third, Absalom the son of Maakah daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;
4the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;
the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;
5and the sixth, Ithream the son of David’s wife Eglah.
These were born to David in Hebron.
Abner goes over to David
6During the war between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner had been strengthening his own position in the house of Saul. 7Now Saul had had a concubine named Rizpah daughter of Aiah. And Ish-Bosheth said to Abner, ‘Why did you sleep with my father’s concubine?’
8Abner was very angry because of what Ish-Bosheth said. So he answered, ‘Am I a dog’s head – on Judah’s side? This very day I am loyal to the house of your father Saul and to his family and friends. I haven’t handed you over to David. Yet now you accuse me of an offence involving this woman! 9May God deal with Abner, be it ever so severely, if I do not do for David what the Lord promised him on oath 10and transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and establish David’s throne over Israel and Judah from Dan to Beersheba.’ 11Ish-Bosheth did not dare to say another word to Abner, because he was afraid of him.
12Then Abner sent messengers on his behalf to say to David, ‘Whose land is it? Make an agreement with me, and I will help you bring all Israel over to you.’
13‘Good,’ said David. ‘I will make an agreement with you. But I demand one thing of you: do not come into my presence unless you bring Michal daughter of Saul when you come to see me.’ 14Then David sent messengers to Ish-Bosheth son of Saul, demanding, ‘Give me my wife Michal, whom I betrothed to myself for the price of a hundred Philistine foreskins.’
15So Ish-Bosheth gave orders and had her taken away from her husband Paltiel son of Laish. 16Her husband, however, went with her, weeping behind her all the way to Bahurim. Then Abner said to him, ‘Go back home!’ So he went back.
17Abner conferred with the elders of Israel and said, ‘For some time you have wanted to make David your king. 18Now do it! For the Lord promised David, “By my servant David I will rescue my people Israel from the hand of the Philistines and from the hand of all their enemies.” ’
19Abner also spoke to the Benjaminites in person. Then he went to Hebron to tell David everything that Israel and the whole tribe of Benjamin wanted to do. 20When Abner, who had twenty men with him, came to David at Hebron, David prepared a feast for him and his men. 21Then Abner said to David, ‘Let me go at once and assemble all Israel for my lord the king, so that they may make a covenant with you, and that you may rule over all that your heart desires.’ So David sent Abner away, and he went in peace.
Joab murders Abner
22Just then David’s men and Joab returned from a raid and brought with them a great deal of plunder. But Abner was no longer with David in Hebron, because David had sent him away, and he had gone in peace. 23When Joab and all the soldiers with him arrived, he was told that Abner son of Ner had come to the king and that the king had sent him away and that he had gone in peace.
24So Joab went to the king and said, ‘What have you done? Look, Abner came to you. Why did you let him go? Now he is gone! 25You know Abner son of Ner; he came to deceive you and observe your movements and find out everything you are doing.’
26Joab then left David and sent messengers after Abner, and they brought him back from the cistern at Sirah. But David did not know it. 27Now when Abner returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into an inner chamber, as if to speak with him privately. And there, to avenge the blood of his brother Asahel, Joab stabbed him in the stomach, and he died.
28Later, when David heard about this, he said, ‘I and my kingdom are for ever innocent before the Lord concerning the blood of Abner son of Ner. 29May his blood fall on the head of Joab and on his whole family! May Joab’s family never be without someone who has a running sore or leprosy3:29 The Hebrew for leprosy was used for various diseases affecting the skin. or who leans on a crutch or who falls by the sword or who lacks food.’
30(Joab and his brother Abishai murdered Abner because he had killed their brother Asahel in the battle of Gibeon.)
31Then David said to Joab and all the people with him, ‘Tear your clothes and put on sackcloth and walk in mourning in front of Abner.’ King David himself walked behind the bier. 32They buried Abner in Hebron, and the king wept aloud at Abner’s tomb. All the people wept also.
33The king sang this lament for Abner:
‘Should Abner have died as the lawless die?
34Your hands were not bound,
your feet were not fettered.
You fell as one falls before the wicked.’
And all the people wept over him again.
35Then they all came and urged David to eat something while it was still day; but David took an oath, saying, ‘May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if I taste bread or anything else before the sun sets!’
36All the people took note and were pleased; indeed, everything the king did pleased them. 37So on that day all the people there and all Israel knew that the king had no part in the murder of Abner son of Ner.
38Then the king said to his men, ‘Do you not realise that a commander and a great man has fallen in Israel this day? 39And today, though I am the anointed king, I am weak, and these sons of Zeruiah are too strong for me. May the Lord repay the evildoer according to his evil deeds!’
