1«لە ناخەوە قێزم لە ژیان دەبێتەوە،
بە ئازادی سکاڵای خۆم دەردەبڕم،
بە دڵێکی بریندارەوە قسە دەکەم.
2بە خودا دەڵێم: بڕیاری تاوانباریم بەسەردا مەسەپێنە!
تێمبگەیەنە بۆچی دادگاییم دەکەیت.
3ئایا بەلاتەوە باشە ستەم بکەیت،
ئەوەی بە دەستی خۆت دروستت کرد، زەلیلی بکەیت؟
بە پیلانی بەدکاران پێبکەنیت؟
4ئایا چاوی گۆشتیت هەیە؟
ئایا وەک چاوی مرۆڤ دەبینیت؟
5ئایا ڕۆژگارت وەک ڕۆژگاری مرۆڤە،
یان تەمەنت وەک تەمەنی ئێمە دیاریکراوە؟
6بۆچی بەدوای تاوانمدا دەگەڕێیت و
چاو بۆ گوناهم دەگێڕیت؟
7هەرچەندە تۆ دەزانیت کە من تاوانبار نیم و
کەسیش نییە لە دەستی تۆ فریام بکەوێت.
8«دەستەکانی تۆ منیان پێکهێنا و دروستیان کردم،
ئایا دەستت دەگێڕیتەوە سەرم و لەناوم دەبەیت؟
9لەبیرت نەچێت کە تۆ وەک قوڕ شێوەی منت کێشا،
ئایا ئێستا دەمگەڕێنیتەوە بۆ خۆڵ؟
10ئایا وەک شیر منت نەچۆڕاند و
وەک پەنیر منت نەمەیاند؟
11بە پێست و گۆشت منت پۆشی و
بە ئێسک و ماسوولکە منت چنی.
12ژیان و خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕت پێ بەخشیم،
چاودێریی تۆ ڕۆحی منی پاراست.
13«بەڵام ئەمەت لە دڵی خۆتدا شاردەوە،
من زانیم کە چیت لە دڵدایە.
14ئەگەر گوناه بکەم، چاودێریم دەکەیت و
لە تاوانەکەم بێبەریم ناکەیت.
15ئەگەر تاوانبار بم، قوڕبەسەرم!
ئەگەر بێتاوانیش بم، ناتوانم شانازی پێوە بکەم،
چونکە من تێرم لە شەرمەزاری و
زەلیلی خۆم بینی.
16ئەگەر سەرم بەرز بکەمەوە وەک شێر ڕاوم دەکەیت،
دەگەڕێیتەوە و سامی خۆتم نیشان دەدەیت.
17شایەتەکانت لە دژم نوێ دەکەیتەوە و
تووڕەیی خۆتم لەسەر زیاد دەکەیت و
یەک لەدوای یەک هێزەکانت دەنێریتە سەرم.
18«ئیتر بۆچی لە سکی دایکمەوە دەرتهێنام؟
خۆزگە بفەوتامایە و ئەو کاتە هیچ چاوێکیش نەیدەبینیم.
19وەک ئەوەی نەبووبم، وا دەبوو،
لە سکی دایکمەوە بۆ گۆڕ دەبردرام.
20ئایا ڕۆژگارم کەم نییە؟
بەرمدە! وازم لێ بهێنە! با تاوێک زەردەخەنە بێتە سەر لێوم،
21پێش ئەوەی بڕۆم و ئیتر نەگەڕێمەوە،
بۆ خاکی تەمومژ و سێبەری مەرگ،
22خاکی تاریکی، وەک شەوەزەنگ،
سێبەری مەرگ و ناڕێکی،
خۆرهەڵاتنیشی وەک شەوەزەنگە.»
1“I’m sick of living.
So I’ll talk openly about my problems.
I’ll speak out because my spirit is bitter.
2I say to God, ‘Don’t find me guilty.
Instead, tell me what charges
you are bringing against me.
3Does it make you happy when you crush me?
Does it please you to turn your back on what you have made?
While you do those things,
you smile on the plans of sinful people!
4You don’t have human eyes.
You don’t see as people see.
5Your days aren’t like the days of a mere human being.
Your years aren’t even like the years of a strong man.
6So you search for my mistakes.
You look for my sin.
7You already know I’m not guilty.
No one can save me from your power.

16If I become proud, you hunt me down like a lion.
You show your mighty power against me.
17You bring new witnesses against me.
You become more and more angry with me.
You use your power against me again and again.
18“ ‘Why did you bring me out of my mother’s body?
I wish I had died before anyone saw me.
19I wish I’d never been born!
I wish I’d been carried straight from my mother’s body to the grave!
20Aren’t my few days almost over?
Leave me so I can have a moment of joy.
21Turn away before I go to the place I can’t return from.
It’s the land of gloom and total darkness.
22It’s the land of darkest night
and total darkness and disorder.
