향단
1“너는 아카시아나무로 분향할 단을 만들어라.
2그것은 가로 세로를 각각 45센티미터로 하여 네모 반듯하게 하고 높이는 90센티미터로 하며 단 네 모퉁이에는 뿔이 나오도록 만들어야 한다.
3그리고 너는 그 단의 윗면과 전후 좌우 면과 뿔을 순금으로 싸고 30:3 또는 ‘주위에’윗 가장자리에 금테를 둘러라.
4금테 아래 양쪽에는 운반채를 꿸 금고리 두 개씩을 만들어 달고
5아카시아나무로 운반채를 만들어 금으로 싸라.
6그러고서 너는 십계명을 넣어 둔 30:6 또는 ‘언약궤’법궤 위, 곧 내가 너를 만날 속죄소를 가리는 바로 그 휘장 밖에 이 향단을 갖다 놓아라.
7아론은 매일 아침 등을 손질할 때 이 단에 향기로운 향을 피워야 하며
8또 저녁에 등불을 켤 때도 이 향을 피워야 한다. 이와 같이 너희는 나 여호와 앞에서 향을 피우는 일을 대대로 계속하라.
9그리고 이 향단에는 내가 지정하지 않은 다른 향을 피워서는 안 되며 그 위에 동물이나 곡식이나 포도주를 제물로 바쳐서도 안 된다.
10아론은 일 년에 한 번씩 속죄제물의 피를 향단 네 뿔에 발라 이 단을 정결하게 해야 한다. 이 향단은 나 여호와에게 아주 거룩한 것이다. 향단을 정결하게 하는 일을 대대로 계속하여라.”
생명의 값
11여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
12“너는 이스라엘 백성의 인구를 조사할 때 각자 자기 생명의 값을 나 여호와에게 바치게 하라. 그러면 네가 인구 조사를 할 때 그들에게 재앙이 미치지 않을 것이다.
13인구 조사를 받는 사람은 은 30:13 히 ‘성소의 세겔대로 반 세겔’약 6그램을 나 여호와에게 바치게 하라.
1420세 이상 인구 조사를 받는 사람은 모두 이 돈을 바쳐야 한다.
15너희가 이 생명의 값을 나 여호와에게 바칠 때에는 부자라고 해서 더 많이 내거나 가난한 사람이라고 해서 덜 내는 일이 없도록 하라.
16너는 이스라엘 백성에게서 이 돈을 받아 성막 비용으로 사용하여라. 나 여호와가 이것을 너희 생명의 값으로 여기고 너희를 기억하여 지켜 주겠다.”
놋으로 만든 물통
17여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
18“너는 놋으로 넓적한 물통과 그 받침을 만들어 성막과 단 사이에 두고 거기에 물을 채워라.
19-20아론과 그의 아들들은 성막에 들어갈 때나 단에 가까이 가서 나 여호와에게 불로 제물을 태워 바치기 전에 이 물로 반드시 손발을 씻어야 한다.
21이와 같이 그들이 손발을 씻어야 죽지 않을 것이다. 이것은 그들과 그 후손들이 대대로 지켜야 할 규정이다.”
거룩한 기름
22여호와께서 다시 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
23“너는 제일 좋은 향품, 곧 순수한 몰약 30:23 히 ‘500세겔’ 약 6킬로그램, 향기로운 육계 30:23 히 ‘250세겔’약 3킬로그램, 향기로운 창포 약 3킬로그램,
24계피 약 6킬로그램, 그리고 감람기름 30:24 히 ‘한 힌’약 4리터를 구하여
25향을 만드는 방법으로 이 모든 것을 섞어 향기로운 거룩한 기름을 만들어라.
26그런 다음 너는 이 기름을 성막, 법궤,
27상과 그 모든 기구, 등대와 그 모든 기구, 향단,
28번제단과 그 모든 기구, 그리고 넓적한 물통과 그 받침에 발라
29그 모든 것을 아주 거룩한 것으로 구별하여라. 이것에 접촉하는 사람이나 물건이 다 거룩해질 것이다.
30그리고 아론과 그의 아들들에게 이 기름을 발라 그들을 거룩하게 하여 제사장으로서 나를 섬기게 하라.
31너는 또 이스라엘 백성에게 나 여호와의 말을 이렇게 전하여라. ‘이것은 너희가 나를 섬기는 데 대대로 사용해야 할 거룩한 기름이다.
32너희는 이것을 제사장이 아닌 다른 사람의 몸에 부어서는 안 되며 또 이 기름의 제조법대로 이와 같은 것을 만들어서도 안 된다. 이것은 거룩한 것이니 너희가 거룩하게 여겨라.
33이와 같은 것을 만들거나 이 기름을 제사장이 아닌 다른 사람에게 붓는 자는 누구든지 자기 백성 가운데서 제거될 것이다.’ ”
향
34그런 다음 여호와께서 모세에게 또 말씀하셨다. “너는 30:34 또는 ‘소합향과 나감향과 풍자향’몰약과 섭조개 가루와 페르시아 수지와 순수한 유향을 똑같은 중량으로 섞어
35향수를 만드는 방법으로 향을 만들고 거기에 소금을 쳐서 깨끗하고 거룩하게 하여라.
36그리고 너는 그 향 얼마를 빻아 곱게 가루를 만들어 내가 너와 만날 성막 안 법궤 앞에 두어라. 이것은 너희에게 아주 거룩한 것이다.
37너희는 이런 제조법으로 너희를 위해 향을 만들지 말고 그것을 나에게 바쳐진 거룩한 것으로 여겨라.
38이 향의 냄새를 맡으려고 이와 같은 것을 만드는 자는 누구든지 자기 백성 가운데서 제거될 것이다.”
1And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it. 2A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same. 3And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.30.3 top: Heb. roof30.3 sides: Heb. walls 4And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.30.4 corners: Heb. ribs 5And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. 6And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee. 7And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.30.7 sweet incense: Heb. incense of spices 8And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.30.8 lighteth: or setteth up: Heb. causeth to ascend30.8 at even: Heb. between the two evenings 9Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon. 10And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.
11¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 12When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.30.12 their number: Heb. them that are to be numbered 13This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD. 14Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD. 15The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.30.15 give more: Heb. multiply30.15 give less: Heb. diminish 16And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
17¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 18Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein. 19For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat: 20When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD: 21So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.
22¶ Moreover the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 23Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels, 24And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin: 25And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.30.25 apothecary: or, perfumer 26And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony, 27And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense, 28And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot. 29And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy. 30And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office. 31And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations. 32Upon man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you. 33Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.
34¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight: 35And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:30.35 tempered…: Heb. salted 36And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy. 37And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD. 38Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
