시온을 그리워하는 포로들
1우리는
바빌론 강변에 앉아서
시온을 기억하며 울었다.
2우리가 수금을
버드나무 가지에 걸었으니
3우리를 사로잡은 자들이
우리에게 노래를 청하고
우리를 괴롭히는 자들이
즐거운 노래를 요구하며
“시온의 노래 중 하나를 불러라”
하고 말하였음이라.
4우리가 외국 땅에서 어떻게
여호와의 노래를 부를 수 있겠는가?
5예루살렘아,
내가 너를 잊는다면
내 오른손이 수금 타는 법도
잊어버리기를 원하노라.
6내가 너를 기억하지 않거나
내가 너를 가장 큰 기쁨으로
여기지 않는다면
137:6 또는 ‘내 혀가 내 입천장에 붙을지로다’내가 다시는 노래를
부르지 못하게 하라.
7여호와여, 예루살렘이
함락되던 날에
에돔 사람들이 한 짓을 기억하소서.
그들이 “예루살렘성을 헐어라!
그 기초까지 헐어 버려라!”
하였습니다.
8바빌론아, 너는 멸망할 것이다.
네가 우리에게 행한 대로
갚아 주는 자가 복이 있으리라.
9네 아이들을 잡아다가 바위에
메어치는 자가 복이 있으리라.
