1We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. 4For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. 8Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: 9And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name. 10And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. 11And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people. 12And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. 13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. 14And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. 15Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, 16That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. 17I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God. 18For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, 19Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. 20Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation: 21But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand. 22For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. 23But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; 24Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. 25But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. 26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. 27It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. 28When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain. 29And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
30Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; 31That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; 32That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. 33Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

5ขอพระเจ้าผู้ประทานความทรหดอดทนและกำลังใจทรงโปรดให้ท่านทั้งหลายติดตามพระเยซูคริสต์ด้วยความเป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกัน 6เพื่อท่านทั้งหลายจะได้ถวายพระเกียรติสิริแด่พระเจ้าด้วยปากและใจเดียวกัน พระองค์คือพระเจ้าและพระบิดาของพระเยซูคริสต์เจ้าของเรา
7ฉะนั้นจงยอมรับซึ่งกันและกันเหมือนที่พระคริสต์ทรงยอมรับท่าน เพื่อจะนำการสรรเสริญมาถวายแด่พระเจ้า 8เพราะข้าพเจ้าขอบอกท่านว่าพระคริสต์ได้กลายเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพวกยิว15:8 ภาษากรีกว่าการเข้าสุหนัต อันเป็นการสำแดงความสัตย์จริงของพระเจ้า เพื่อยืนยันพระสัญญาที่ทรงให้ไว้กับเหล่าบรรพชนผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ 9เพื่อว่าคนต่างชาติจะถวายพระเกียรติสิริแด่พระเจ้า เนื่องด้วยพระเมตตาของพระองค์ ตามที่มีเขียนไว้ว่า
“ด้วยเหตุนี้ข้าพระองค์จะสรรเสริญพระองค์ท่ามกลางคนต่างชาติ
จะร้องบทเพลงสรรเสริญแด่พระนามของพระองค์”15:9 2ซมอ.22:50สดด.18:49
10และกล่าวอีกว่า
“คนต่างชาติทั้งหลายเอ๋ย จงชื่นชมยินดีร่วมกับประชากรของพระองค์เถิด”15:10 ฉธบ.32:43
11และอีกตอนหนึ่งที่ว่า
“คนต่างชาติทั้งสิ้นเอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเถิด
ชนชาติทั้งสิ้นเอ๋ย จงร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระองค์”15:11 สดด.117:1
12และอิสยาห์กล่าวด้วยว่า
“รากแห่งเจสซีจะผุดขึ้น
ผู้ซึ่งจะขึ้นมาเพื่อครอบครองนานาประชาชาติ
คนต่างชาติทั้งหลายจะหวังในพระองค์”15:12 อสย.11:10
13ขอพระเจ้าแห่งความหวังทรงให้ท่านบริบูรณ์ด้วยความชื่นชมยินดีและสันติสุขทั้งปวงเมื่อท่านวางใจในพระองค์ เพื่อว่าท่านจะเปี่ยมล้นด้วยความหวังโดยฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์
เปาโลผู้รับใช้มายังคนต่างชาติ
14พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าเองแน่ใจว่าพวกท่านเองบริบูรณ์ด้วยความดี เพียบพร้อมด้วยความรู้ และสามารถสั่งสอนกันและกันได้ 15ที่ข้าพเจ้ากล้าเขียนบางเรื่องถึงท่านราวกับว่าเพื่อจะเตือนท่านในเรื่องเหล่านั้นอีกครั้ง ก็เพราะพระคุณที่พระเจ้าได้ประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้า 16ให้เป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระเยซูคริสต์มายังคนต่างชาติ ทำหน้าที่ปุโรหิตประกาศข่าวประเสริฐของพระเจ้า เพื่อว่าคนต่างชาติจะได้กลายเป็นเครื่องบูชาที่พระเจ้าทรงยอมรับ ซึ่งพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ได้ทรงชำระให้บริสุทธิ์แล้ว
17ฉะนั้นในพระเยซูคริสต์ ข้าพเจ้าภูมิใจในสิ่งต่างๆ ที่ได้ทำให้แก่พระเจ้า 18ข้าพเจ้าไม่กล้ากล่าวถึงสิ่งใดนอกเหนือจากสิ่งที่พระคริสต์ทรงกระทำผ่านทางข้าพเจ้า ในการนำคนต่างชาติมาเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าด้วยสิ่งที่ข้าพเจ้าได้พูดและทำ 19คือด้วยฤทธิ์อำนาจแห่งหมายสำคัญและการอัศจรรย์ต่างๆ โดยทางฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ ข้าพเจ้าจึงได้ประกาศข่าวประเสริฐ ของพระคริสต์อย่างครบถ้วนในทุกที่ตั้งแต่กรุงเยรูซาเล็มไปทั่วจนจดเมืองอิลลีริคุม 20ข้าพเจ้ามุ่งมาดปรารถนาเสมอมาว่าจะประกาศข่าวประเสริฐในที่ซึ่งไม่มีใครรู้จักพระคริสต์ เพื่อว่าข้าพเจ้าจะได้ไม่ก่อขึ้นบนฐานรากที่คนอื่นวางไว้ 21ตามที่มีเขียนไว้ว่า
“ผู้ที่ไม่เคยมีใครบอกเรื่องพระองค์จะได้เห็น
และผู้ที่ไม่เคยได้ยินได้ฟังมาก่อนจะเข้าใจ”15:21 อสย.52:15
22นี่คือเหตุที่ขัดขวางข้าพเจ้าอยู่เสมอ ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าไม่ได้มาหาพวกท่าน
เปาโลวางแผนจะไปกรุงโรม
23แต่บัดนี้ไม่มีที่ใดเหลือให้ข้าพเจ้าทำงานในภูมิภาคเหล่านี้แล้ว และเนื่องจากข้าพเจ้าปรารถนาที่จะมาพบพวกท่านหลายปีแล้ว 24ข้าพเจ้าจึงวางแผนจะมาพบท่านตอนไปประเทศสเปน ข้าพเจ้าหวังว่าจะได้มาเยี่ยมเยียนท่านขณะเดินทางผ่านไป และหวังจะให้ท่านช่วยเหลือข้าพเจ้าในการเดินทางไปที่นั่น หลังจากได้สังสรรค์อยู่กับพวกท่านสักระยะหนึ่ง 25แต่ขณะนี้ข้าพเจ้ากำลังเดินทางไปกรุงเยรูซาเล็มเพื่อช่วยเหลือประชากรของพระเจ้าที่นั่น 26เพราะพี่น้องในแคว้นมาซิโดเนียและแคว้นอาคายายินดีที่จะบริจาคให้ผู้ยากไร้ในหมู่ประชากรของพระเจ้าที่กรุงเยรูซาเล็ม 27พวกเขายินดีที่จะทำเช่นนั้น และอันที่จริงพวกเขาก็เป็นหนี้พี่น้อง เหล่านั้นด้วย เพราะถ้าคนต่างชาติมีส่วนร่วมในพระพรฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณของชาวยิว พวกเขาก็เป็นหนี้พี่น้องชาวยิว เขาควรที่จะแบ่งปันพระพรฝ่ายวัตถุให้พี่น้องเหล่านั้น 28ดังนั้นหลังจากเสร็จภารกิจนี้ และดูแลจนแน่ใจว่าพวกพี่น้องได้รับผลนี้เรียบร้อยแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็จะไปประเทศสเปนและแวะเยี่ยมพวกท่านระหว่างทาง 29ข้าพเจ้ารู้ว่าเมื่อมาหาท่าน ข้าพเจ้าจะมาพร้อมด้วยพระพรอันเต็มบริบูรณ์ของพระคริสต์
30พี่น้องทั้งหลาย โดยองค์พระเยซูคริสต์เจ้าของเราและโดยความรักจากพระวิญญาณข้าพเจ้าขอให้พวกท่านร่วมในการดิ้นรนต่อสู้ของข้าพเจ้าด้วยการอธิษฐานต่อพระเจ้าเพื่อข้าพเจ้า 31ขออธิษฐานให้ข้าพเจ้าได้รับการช่วยเหลือให้พ้นจากผู้ไม่เชื่อทั้งหลายในแคว้นยูเดีย และขอให้ประชากรของพระเจ้าในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มยอมรับความช่วยเหลือของข้าพเจ้า 32เพื่อว่าโดยพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจะได้มาหาพวกท่านด้วยความชื่นชมยินดีและได้รับความชื่นใจร่วมกันกับพวกท่าน 33ขอพระเจ้าแห่งสันติสุขสถิตกับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด อาเมน
