A Psalm of Asaph.
1God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.82.1 of Asaph: or, for Asaph
2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.82.3 Defend: Heb. Judge
4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.82.5 out…: Heb. moved
6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Salmo de Asaf.
1Dios preside el consejo celestial;
entre los dioses dicta sentencia:
2«¿Hasta cuándo defenderéis la injusticia
y favoreceréis a los impíos? Selah
3Defended la causa del huérfano y del desvalido;
al pobre y al oprimido hacedles justicia.
4Salvad al menesteroso y al necesitado;
libradlos de la mano de los impíos.
5»Ellos no saben nada, no entienden nada.
Deambulan en la oscuridad;
se estremecen todos los cimientos de la tierra.
6»Yo les he dicho: “Vosotros sois dioses;
todos vosotros sois hijos del Altísimo”.
7Pero moriréis como cualquier mortal;
caeréis como cualquier otro gobernante».
8Levántate, oh Dios, y juzga a la tierra,
pues tuyas son todas las naciones.
