1The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
4He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.36.4 mischief: or, vanity
5Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.36.6 the…: Heb. the mountains of God
7How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.36.7 excellent: Heb. precious
8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.36.8 abundantly…: Heb. watered
9For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.36.10 continue: Heb. draw out at length
11Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
12There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

Хоровођи. Слуге Господњег Давида.
1Преступ проговара из срца опаког,
за страх Божији очи му не знају.
2Јер он ласка себи
и очима својим не налази своју кривицу да би је мрзео.
3Злобне су и заводљиве речи његових уста,
престао је да показује мудрост, да чини добро.
4Он злобу смишља на постељи својој,
предао се путу неваљалом,
зла се не одриче.
5О, Господе, милост ти је до небеса,
а верност ти је до облака.
6Праведност је твоја попут горе Божије,
а твоја је правда дубина голема.
Ти, Господе, чуваш и људе и звери.
7Како је скупоцена милост твоја, Боже,
потомци људи у сенци крила твојих уточиште налазе.
8Сите се изобиљем твога Дома,
напајаш их реком твојих добара.
9Јер у теби је врело живота,
у твом светлу ми видимо светло.
10Милост своју пружи онима који те познају,
и праведност своју онима срца честитога.
11Нога поносита нек ми не прилази,
рука зликоваца нек ме не протера.
12Ено, падоше они који раде злобно,
срушени су и дићи се неће моћи.
