1여호와여,
도우소서.
경건한 자가 없어지고
정직한 자가 사라졌습니다.
2모두 서로 속이고
거짓말로 아첨합니다.
3여호와여,
아첨하는 입을 막으시고
자랑하는 혀를 끊으소서.
4그들이 말합니다.
“우리가 우리 혀로 이기리라.
우리의 입술은 우리 것인데
누가 우리 입을 막는단 말인가!”
5그러나 여호와는 말씀하십니다.
“짓눌리고 가난하며
탄식하는 자를 위해
내가 일어나리라.
그들의 소원대로
내가 그들을 안전한 곳에 두어
보호하리라.”
6여호와의 말씀은 확실하여
용광로에 일곱 번이나
정련한 은처럼 순수합니다.
7여호와여,
악한 자들의 손에서
영원히 우리를
지키시고 보호하소서.
8더럽고 추한 일이
판을 치는 때에
악인들이 곳곳에
우글거리고 있습니다.
