To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
1Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
2For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.109.2 of the deceitful: Heb. of deceit109.2 are opened: Heb. have opened themselves
3They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
4For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
5And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.109.6 Satan: or, an adversary
7When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.109.7 be condemned: Heb. go out guilty, or, wicked
8Let his days be few; and let another take his office.109.8 office: or, charge
9Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
11Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
12Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
13Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
16Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
17As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
18As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.109.18 into his bowels: Heb. within him
19Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
20Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
21But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.
22For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
23I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
24My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
25I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
26Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
27That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it.
28Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
29Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
30I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
31For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.109.31 those…: Heb. the judges of

Ang Reklamo sang Tawo nga Ara sa Kalisod
1O Dios, nga akon ginadayaw, sabta ang akon pagpanawag sa imo.
2Kay ginaakusar ako sang malaot kag dayaon nga mga tawo.
Nagahambal sila sang binutig parte sa akon.
3Permi nila ako ginahambalan sing malain bisan wala sing kabangdanan.
4Bisan nagapakig-abyan ako sa ila, ginakontra nila ako;
pero ginapangamuyuan ko sila.
5Ginabalusan nila ako sing malain sa maayo nga ginahimo ko sa ila,
kag ginabalusan nila ako sing kaakig sa akon pagpakig-abyan sa ila.
6Nagasiling sila,109:6 Nagasiling sila…: Ang bersikulo 6-19 posible pulong sang mga kaaway kontra sa amo nga tawo ukon pulong sang tawo kontra sa iya mga kaaway. “Mangita kita sang malaot nga tawo nga magkontra kag mag-akusar sa iya sa korte.
7Kon hukman na siya, kabay pa nga magguwa nga may sala siya.
Kag kabay pa nga ang iya pangamuyo kabigon nga sala.
8Kabay pa nga indi magdugay ang iya kabuhi kag ihatag na lang sa iban ang iya katungdanan.
9Kabay pa nga mapatay na siya agod mailo ang iya mga kabataan kag mabalo ang iya asawa.
10Kabay pa nga bisan diin na lang magkadto ang iya mga kabataan nga nagapakilimos,
kag kabay pa nga palayason109:10 palayason: Amo ini sa Septuagint, pero sa Hebreo, mangita. sila bisan sa ila guba nga elistaran.
11Kabay pa nga kuhaon sang iya gin-utangan ang tanan niya nga pagkabutang,
kag kabay pa nga kuhaon sang mga dumuluong ang iya pinangabudlayan.
12Kabay pa nga wala sing may maluoy sa iya kag sa iya ilo nga mga kabataan kon mapatay na siya.
13Kabay pa nga magkalamatay ang iya mga kaliwat agod malimtan na sila sa masunod nga henerasyon.
14-15Kabay pa nga indi pagpatawaron kag indi pagkalimtan sang Ginoo ang sala sang iya mga ginikanan kag mga katigulangan;
kag kabay pa nga itugot sang Ginoo nga malimtan na sila sa kalibutan.
16Kay wala gid niya ginahunahuna ang paghimo sang maayo,
kundi ginahingabot niya kag ginapamatay ang mga kubos, mga imol, kag mga nadulaan sang paglaom.
17Luyag niya nga pakamalauton ang iban—kabay pa nga sa iya ina matabo.
Wala siya naluyag magbendisyon sa iban—kabay pa nga wala man sing may magbendisyon sa iya.
18Wala untat ang iya pagpakamalaot sa iban; daw bayo na ini nga iya ginasuksok.
Kabay pa nga ang iya pagpakamalaot magabalik sa iya pareho sang pagsulod sang tubig sa iya lawas ukon pareho sang pagpanalupsop sang lana sa iya mga tul-an.
19Kag kabay pa nga magpabilin ini sa iya nga daw sa bayo nga nagatabon sa iya lawas ukon daw sa paha nga ginapaha niya permi.”
20Ginoo, kabay pa nga amo ina ang imo isilot sa mga nagaakusar kag nagahambal sing malain sa akon.
21Pero buligi ako, Ginoong Dios, agod mapadunggan ka.
Luwasa ako tungod sang imo kaayo kag gugma.
22Kay kubos kag imol ako, kag nagasakit ang akon buot.
23Nagaamat-amat na dula ang akon kabuhi pareho sa landong kon gab-i.
Daw pareho ako sa apan nga ginkahig.
24Nagaluya ang akon tuhod tungod sa pagpuasa.
Puwerte na ako kaniwang.
25Nangin talamayon ako sa akon mga kaaway.
Nagalungo-lungo sila kon makita nila ako.
26Buligi ako, Ginoo, nga akon Dios;
luwasa ako suno sa imo gugma.
27Kag mabal-an sang akon mga kaaway nga ikaw, Ginoo, ang nagluwas sa akon.
28Ginapakamalaot nila ako, pero ikaw magabendisyon sa akon.
Mahuy-an sila kon salakayon nila ako, pero ako nga imo alagad magakalipay.
29Sila nga nagaakusar sa akon matabunan sang kahuy-anan pareho sa bayo nga nagatabon sa lawas.
30Pasalamatan ko gid ang Ginoo;
dayawon ko siya sa atubangan sang madamo nga katawhan.
31Kay ginadepensahan niya ang mga tawo nga bululigan agod maluwas sila sa mga nagasentensya sa ila sang kamatayon.
