4Indi pagpakapuyi ang imo kaugalingon sa sobra nga pagpaninguha nga magmanggaranon. Sa baylo, punggi ang imo kaugalingon kag hunahunaa kon ano ang husto. 5Ang kuwarta madula sa isa lang ka pamisok, nga daw sa may pakpak kag nagalupad palayo pareho sa agila.

6Indi ka magkaon ukon magkaibog sa pagkaon nga ginhanda sang kuripot nga tawo, bisan manamit pa ini. 7Kay ang tawo nga pareho sina nagabantay kon ano kadamo ang imo ginakaon.23:7 Kay… ginakaon: Indi klaro ang buot silingon sang Hebreo sini. 9Indi ka magpakigsugilanon sa mga buang-buang, kay bisan may kaalam pa ang imo ginahambal wala lang gihapon ini sing pulos para sa ila.

10Indi mo pag-agawon ang duta sang mga ilo paagi sa paghalin sang mga muhon sini nga dugay na. 11Kay ang Ginoo amo ang ila gamhanan nga manugdepensa. Siya ang magaapin sa ila kontra sa imo.

12Magpamati ka kon ginatadlong ang imo pamatasan agod makatuon ka.

13-14Indi ka magpabaya sa pagdisiplina sang imo bata. Ang paghanot indi makapatay sa iya, kundi makaluwas pa gani sa iya sa kamatayon.

15-16Anak, malipay gid ako kon mangin maalamon ka kag nagahambal sing husto.

17Indi ka magkahisa sa mga makasasala kundi magtahod ka permi sa Ginoo. 18Kag sigurado gid nga may maayo ka nga palaabuton, kag indi mapaslawan ang imo mga ginahandom.

19Anak, magpamati ka sa mga ginatudlo ko sa imo. Magmaalamon ka kag sunda ang husto nga dalan. 20-21Indi ka magpareho23:20-21 magpareho: ukon, mag-upod. sa mga palahubog kag palakaon, kay ina nga klase sang mga tawo dali mag-imol. Sagi lang sila katulog, gani sa ulihi magabayo na lang sila sang lapat.

22Magpamati ka sa imo ginikanan nga naghatag sa imo sang kabuhi, kag indi sila pagpakalaina kon tigulang na sila. 23Tinguhai nga makabaton ka sang kamatuoran, kaalam, pagtadlong sa imo pamatasan, kag pag-intiendi. Kag indi mo gid ini pag-ibaylo sa bisan ano nga butang. 24-25Magakalipay gid ang imo ginikanan kon matarong kag maalamon ka. Igakalipay nila nga sila ang imo amay kag iloy.

26Anak, pamatii ako sing maayo, kag sunda ang akon pagkabuhi. 27Kay ang babayi nga nagabaligya sang iya lawas makahalit sa imo pareho sa madalom kag makitid nga buho. 28Pareho siya sa tulisan nga nagahulat sang mabiktima, kag siya ang kabangdanan sang pagluib sang madamo nga mga bana sa ila mga asawa.

29Sin-o ang tawo nga miserable, nagapangaway, nagareklamo, nagakapilasan nga sarang niya kuntani malikawan, kag nagapalamula ang iya mata? 30Siya amo ang tawo nga palahubog, nga mahilig magtilaw sang sari-sari nga ilimnon. 31Indi ka magpaganyat sa maisog nga bino, nga kanami tulukon sa baso kag suwabe imnon. 32Kay kon mahubog ka na, magalain ang imo pamatyag, nga daw sa ginkagat ka sang dalitan nga man-og. 33Kag bisan ano na lang ang imo makita, kag indi ka makahunahuna sing maayo. 34Ang pamatyag mo daw ara ka sa tunga sang lawod nga nagahigda sa ibabaw sang palo23:34 palo: malaba nga kahoy nga sa diin naangot ang layag sang barko. sang barko. 35Magasiling ka, “May naglampos kag nagsumbag sa akon, pero wala lang ako kabatyag. San-o pa ako maumpawan agod makainom ako liwat?”
