2Ang hari kon masuko morag nagangulob nga liyon. Kon pasuk-on mo siya, patyon ka gayod niya.
3Dalaygon ang tawo nga maglikay sa kasamok; ang buang-buang lang ang gustog gubot.
4Ang tapolan nga modaro sa panahon sa tingtanom walay anihon.
5Ang hunahuna sa tawo mahimong sama kalawom sa tubig, apan kon maalamon ka, matugkad mo kini.
6Daghan ang moingon nga maayo silang tawo, apan anaa ba kanilay masaligan?
7Ang matarong nga tawo dili salawayon. Bulahan ang iyang mga anak nga nagasunod sa iyang pamatasan.
8Kon mohukom ang hari, sutaon gayod niya pag-ayo kon kinsay naghimog daotan.
9Wala gayoy makaingon nga hinlo na gayod ang iyang kasingkasing, nga wala na gayod siyay sala.
10Ngil-aran ang Ginoo sa manglimbong ug timbang o pagtakos.
11Ang mga binuhatan sa usa ka batan-on nagapadayag sa iyang pamatasan, kon siya matarong o dili.
12Gihatagan kita sa Ginoo ug mata aron makakita ug dalunggan aron makabati.
13Kon sige ka lang ug katulog, magutman ka. Bangon ug pagtrabaho, ug moabunda ang imong pagkaon.
14Sawayon sa mamalitay ang baligya aron makahangyo siya. Apan kon mapalit na niya kini, ipasigarbo dayon niya kini.
15Daghang mga bulawan ug mahalong mga bato, apan diotay ra ang manulti nga may kaalam.
16Kon may tawo nga mosaad nga siyay mobayad kanimo sa utang sa tawo nga dili niya kaila,20:16 tawo nga dili niya kaila: o, daotang babaye. siguroha nga makakuha ka gikan kaniya ug garantiya, aron masiguro mo nga mobayad siya.
17Ganahag kaon ang tawo sa iyang linimbongan, apan sa ulihi, mahisama kini sa balas diha sa iyang baba.
18Pangayog tambag kabahin sa imong mga plano o sa dili ka pa moadto sa gira.
19Ang libakera manabi ug mga sekreto, busa likayi ang tawo nga sama niana.
20Ang anak nga manunglo ug ginikanan mamatay sama sa suga nga napalong diha sa kangitngit.
21Ang panulondon nga sa sinugdan imong gikuha sa dili pa hustong panahon dili makahatag kanimo ug kaayohan sa kaulahian.
22Ayaw panimalos. Salig lang sa Ginoo, ug tabangan ka niya.
23Ginakangil-aran sa Ginoo ang mga tawong nagapanglimbong sa timbangan. Dili kana maayo nga buhat.
24Ang Ginoo maoy nagabuot sa atong kinabuhi, busa dili nato mahibaloan ang atong kapalaran.20:24 dili nato mahibaloan ang atong kapalaran: o, dili gayod nato matugkad ang mga nagakahitabo kanato.
25Makuyaw ang pagdali-dali ug saad nga imong ihalad ang usa ka butang ngadto sa Ginoo. Kinahanglang hunahunaon mo una kini sa dili ka pa mosaad.
26Kon mohukom ang maalamon nga hari, sigurohon gayod niya kon kinsay naghimo ug daotan, ug silotan niya kini.
27Ang atong konsensya o hunahuna20:27 konsensya o hunahuna: o, espiritu. gamiton sa Ginoo sa paglamdag sa atong kinabuhi aron masusi nato ang atong pagkatawo.
28Kon buotan ug matinud-anon ang usa ka hari, walay daotang mahitabo kaniya ug molungtad ang iyang paghari.
29Garbo sa mga batan-on ang ilang kusog, ug dungog sa mga tigulang ang ilang katigulangon.20:29 katigulangon: sa literal, uban.
30Usahay maayo nga masilotan kita aron magbag-o kita.
