1And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel: 2And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters. 3And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.36.3 whereunto…: Heb. unto whom they shall be 4And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.36.4 whereunto…: Heb. unto whom they shall be
5And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well. 6This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.36.6 marry: Heb. be wives 7So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.36.7 keep…: Heb. cleave to the, etc 8And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers. 9Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance. 10Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad: 11For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their father’s brothers’ sons: 12And they were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.36.12 into…: Heb. to some that were of the families 13These are the commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

1گەورەی بنەماڵەکانی خێڵی نەوەی گلعادی کوڕی ماکیر کوڕی مەنەشە کە لە خێڵەکانی نەوەی یوسفن، هاتنە پێش و لەبەردەم موسا و بەردەم گەورەی بنەماڵەکانی نەوەی ئیسرائیل دوان و 2گوتیان: «کاتێک یەزدان فەرمانی بە گەورەم کرد، کە خاکەکە بە میرات بە تیروپشک بداتە نەوەی ئیسرائیل، هەروەها فەرمانی پێ کردیت کە میراتەکەی سەلۆفحادی برامان بدەیتە کچەکانی. 3جا ئەگەر گریمان بوونە ژنی پیاوێک لە هۆزەکانی نەوەی ئیسرائیل، ئەوا میراتەکەیان لە میراتی باوکانمان دەبردرێت و دەخرێتە سەر میراتی ئەو هۆزە کە بۆ ئەوان بوون، جا بەشێک لە تیروپشکی میراتەکەمان دەبردرێت. 4کاتێک بووە ساڵی یۆبیل36:4 ساڵی یۆبیل: یۆبیل وشەیەکی عیبرییە بە واتای بەران دێت، ساڵی یۆبیل ساڵی ئازادکردنی کۆیلە و لێخۆشبوونە لە قەرز، لەو ساڵەدا کە فوو بە قۆچی بەران دەکەن وەک کەڕەنا ئیتر ئەوە ڕاگەیاندنە بۆ گەڕانەوەی هەموو ماڵوموڵکێک بۆ خاوەنەکەی خۆی. بڕوانە لێڤییەکان 25:8-55. بۆ نەوەی ئیسرائیل، ئەوا میراتەکەیان دەچێتە سەر میراتی ئەو هۆزەی کە بۆیان بوون و لە میراتی هۆزی باوکانمان میراتیان دەبردرێت.»
5جا موسا بەگوێرەی فەرمایشتی یەزدان فەرمانی بە نەوەی ئیسرائیل کرد و گوتی: «هۆزی نەوەی یوسف ڕاستیان گوت. 6یەزدان فەرمانی ئەمەی کرد سەبارەت بە کچانی سەلۆفحاد و فەرمووی، ئەوەی ئەوان پێیان خۆشە با شووی پێ بکەن، بە مەرجێک لە خێڵی هۆزی باوکانیان بێت. 7میراتی نەوەی ئیسرائیل لە هۆزێکەوە بۆ هۆزێکی دیکە ناگوازرێتەوە، بەڵکو نەوەی ئیسرائیل هەریەکە پابەندی میراتی هۆزی باوکانی دەبێت. 8هەر کچێکیش لە هۆزەکانی نەوەی ئیسرائیل میراتی وەرگرت، ئەوا دەبێتە ژنی یەکێک لە خێڵی هۆزی باوکی، هەتا نەوەی ئیسرائیل هەریەکە ببێتە میراتگری میراتی باوکانی. 9هیچ میراتێک لە هۆزێکەوە بۆ هۆزێکی دیکە ناگوازرێتەوە، بەڵکو هۆزەکانی نەوەی ئیسرائیل هەریەکە پابەندی میراتی خۆی دەبێت.»
10وەک یەزدان فەرمانی بە موسا کرد، کچانی سەلۆفحاد ئاوایان کرد. 11مەحلە و تیرزە و حۆگلە و میلکە و نۆعا کە کچانی سەلۆفحادن بوونە ژنی ئامۆزاکانیان؛ 12بوونە ژن لە خێڵەکانی نەوەی مەنەشەی کوڕی یوسف، ئیتر میراتەکەیان لە خێڵ و هۆزی باوکانیان مایەوە.
13ئەمە ئەو فەرمان و ڕێسایانەیە کە یەزدان فەرمانی بە نەوەی ئیسرائیل کرد، بە دەستی موسا لە دەشتی مۆئاب لەسەر ڕووباری ئوردون بەرامبەر ئەریحا.
