1The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. 2He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? 4A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. 5And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
6¶ Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? 9Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
13¶ When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 20Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
21¶ From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. 22Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
24¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. 28Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

2यीसू ह ओमन ला जबाब दीस, “जब संझा होथे, त तुमन कहिथव कि मौसम ह साफ रहिही, काबरकि अकास म लाली हवय, 3अऊ बिहनियां के बखत तुमन कहिथव कि आज गर्रा आही, काबरकि अकास म लाली हवय अऊ बादर छाय हवय। तुमन ह अकास के चिन्हां ला देखके, मौसम के बारे म बता देथव, पर तुमन समय के चिन्हां के बारे नइं बता सकव। 4ए दुस्ट अऊ बेभिचारी पीढ़ी के मनखेमन अचरज के चिन्हां खोजथें, पर योना अगमजानी के चिन्हां के छोंड़, एमन ला अऊ कुछू चिन्हां नइं दिये जावय।”16:4 मत्ती 12:39-40 तब यीसू ह ओमन ला छोंड़के चल दीस।
फरीसी अऊ सदूकी मन के खमीर
(मरकुस 8:14-21)
5जब ओमन झील के ओ पार गीन, त चेलामन अपन संग रोटी लाने बर भुला गे रिहिन। 6यीसू ह ओमन ला कहिस, “फरीसी अऊ सदूकी मन के खमीर ले सचेत रहव।”
7ओमन आपस म ए बात ला बिचार करिन अऊ कहिन, “हमन रोटी नइं लाने हवन, एकरसेति ओह अइसने कहत हवय।”
8ओमन के बिचार ला जानके, यीसू ह ओमन ला कहिस, “हे अल्प बिसवासीमन हो! तुमन ए काबर गोठियावत हव कि तुम्हर करा रोटी नइं ए? 9का तुमन अभी तक ले नइं समझेव? पांच हजार मनखेमन बर पांच ठन रोटी के बात, का तुमन सुरता नइं करत हव, अऊ कतेक ठन टुकना भरके तुमन संकेले रहेव? 10या फेर ओ चार हजार मनखेमन बर सात ठन रोटी के बात, का तुमन ला सुरता नइं ए, अऊ कतेक ठन टुकना भरके तुमन संकेले रहेव? 11तुमन ए काबर नइं समझव कि मेंह तुमन ला रोटी के बारे म नइं कहत रहेंव? पर तुमन ला फरीसी अऊ सदूकी मन के खमीर ले सचेत रहे बर कहत रहेंव।”
12तब ओमन समझिन कि यीसू ह ओमन ला रोटी के खमीर के बारे म नइं गोठियावत रिहिस, पर ओह ओमन ला फरीसी अऊ सदूकी मन के सिकछा ले सचेत रहे बर कहत रिहिस।
पतरस ह यीसू ला मसीह मान लेथे
(मरकुस 8:27-30; लूका 9:18-21)
13जब यीसू ह कैसरिया-फिलिप्पी के सीमना म आईस, त ओह अपन चेलामन ले पुछिस, “मनखेमन मनखे के बेटा ला कोन ए, कहिथें?”
14ओमन ह कहिन, “कुछू मनखेमन कहिथें कि ओह यूहन्ना बतिसमा देवइया अय; कुछू मन एलियाह अय, कहिथें; अऊ कुछू मनखेमन कहिथें कि ओह यरमियाह या अगमजानीमन ले एक झन अय।”
15यीसू ह ओमन ले पुछिस, “पर तुमन मोला कोन ए, कहत हव?”
16सिमोन पतरस जबाब दीस, “तेंह जीयत परमेसर के बेटा – मसीह अस।”
17यीसू ह ओला कहिस, “सिमोन, योना के बेटा! धइन अस तेंह, काबरकि ए बात तोला कोनो मनखे ह नइं बताय हवय, पर मोर ददा जऊन ह स्वरग म हवय, ए बात तोर ऊपर उजागर करे हवय। 18अऊ मेंह तोला कहत हंव कि तेंह पतरस अस, अऊ ए चट्टान ऊपर मेंह अपन कलीसिया बनाहूं, अऊ पाताल-लोक के सक्तिमन एकर ऊपर जय नइं पा सकंय16:18 पतरस के मतलब “चट्टान” होथे।। 19मेंह तोला स्वरग राज के चाबीमन ला दूहूं। जऊन कुछू तेंह धरती ऊपर बांधबे, ओह स्वरग म बंधाही, अऊ जऊन कुछू तेंह धरती ऊपर खोलबे, ओह स्वरग म खुलही।”16:19 मत्ती 18:15-20; 1 कुरिन्थ 5:1-5; प्रेरितमन 15:22-29 20तब यीसू ह अपन चेलामन ला ए चेतउनी दीस, “तुमन कोनो ला, ए झन बतावव कि मेंह मसीह अंव।”
यीसू ह अपन मिरतू के बारे म अगमबानी करथे
(मरकुस 8:31-33; लूका 9:22)
21ओ समय ले यीसू ह अपन चेलामन ला ए बताय लगिस, “एह जरूरी अय कि मेंह यरूसलेम जावंव अऊ यहूदीमन के अगुवा, मुखिया पुरोहित अऊ कानून के गुरू मन के हांथ म ले बहुंते दुःख भोगंव; अऊ मार डारे जावंव; अऊ तीसरा दिन जी उठंव।”
22पतरस ह यीसू ला अलग ले गीस अऊ ओला ए कहिके डांटे लगिस, “परमेसर ह अइसने झन करय, परभू! तोर संग ए बात कभू झन होवय।”
23यीसू ह पतरस कोति मुड़ के कहिस, “मोर नजर ले दूर हट, सैतान! तेंह मोर रसता म एक बाधा अस। तोर मन म परमेसर के बात नइं, पर मनखेमन के बात हवय।”
24तब यीसू ह अपन चेलामन ला कहिस, “यदि कोनो मोर चेला बने चाहत हवय, त ओह अपन-आप के इनकार करय, अऊ अपन कुरुस ला उठाके, मोर पाछू हो लेवय। 25काबरकि जऊन ह अपन परान ला बचाय चाहथे, ओह ओला गंवाही; पर जऊन ह मोर खातिर अपन परान ला गंवाथे, ओह ओला बचाही। 26यदि मनखे ह जम्मो संसार ला पा जाथे, पर अपन परान ला गंवा देथे, त ओला का फायदा? या मनखे ह अपन परान के बदले म का दे सकथे? 27काबरकि मनखे के बेटा ह अपन स्वरगदूतमन के संग अपन ददा के महिमा म अवइया हवय, अऊ तब ओह हर एक मनखे ला ओकर काम के मुताबिक इनाम दिही। 28मेंह तुमन ला सच कहत हंव कि जऊन मन इहां ठाढ़े हवंय, ओमन म कुछू झन अइसने हवंय कि ओमन तब तक नइं मरंय, जब तक कि ओमन मनखे के बेटा ला ओकर राज म आवत नइं देख लिहीं।”
