ไม่มีผ้าห่มกันหนาว
8กายของเขาเปียกโชกเพราะสายฝนแห่งภูเขา
และเขาเกาะหินแน่นเพราะไม่มีที่กำบัง
9ลูกกำพร้าพ่อถูกคร่าจากอกแม่
ทารกของคนยากไร้ถูกจับไปเพราะเป็นหนี้
10พวกเขาจึงต้องระหกระเหินไปด้วยกายเปลือยเปล่า
ต้องแบกฟ่อนข้าวทั้งๆ ที่หิวโซ

แต่พระเจ้าไม่เห็นเอาผิดกับใคร
13“มีผู้กบฏต่อความสว่าง
ผู้ไม่รู้จัก
และไม่ยอมดำเนินในทางของความสว่างนั้น
14เมื่อสิ้นแสงตะวันแล้ว ฆาตกรก็ลุกขึ้น
สังหารคนยากไร้และคนขัดสน
ยามค่ำคืนเขาลอบออกไปเหมือนขโมย
15ตาของคนล่วงประเวณีจ้องรอคอยเวลาพลบค่ำ
เขาคิดว่า ‘ไม่มีใครเห็นเรา’
และคลุมหน้าเพื่อพรางตาคน
16ในความมืดมีคนแอบย่องเข้าไปในบ้าน
แต่ตอนกลางวันเขาก็เก็บตัวอยู่
ไม่อยากยุ่งเกี่ยวกับความสว่าง
17สำหรับพวกเขาทุกคน ความมืดสนิทเป็นยามเช้า24:17 หรือสำหรับพวกเขาทุกคน ยามเช้าของเขาก็เหมือนเงาแห่งความตาย
