1Dayon nagsabat si Zofar nga taga-Naama, 2“Kinahanglan nga magsabat ako kay indi ako mapahamtang. 3Ginsabdong mo ako nga may pag-insulto, kag karon may nagatulod sa akon panghunahuna nga magsabat ako sa imo. 4Sigurado gid nga nahibaluan mo nga halin pa sang una, umpisa sang pagtuga sa tawo sa kalibutan, 5ang kalipay sang malaot nga mga tawo umalagi lang. Huo, wala nagadugay ang kalipay sang mga tawo nga indi diosnon. 6Bisan puwerte ang iya pagkamatinaas-taason, nga daw lambot na ini sa mga panganod ukon sa langit, 7madula siya hasta san-o pareho sang iya tai. Ang mga nakakilala sa iya, mamangkot kon diin na siya. 8Madula siya pareho sang damgo ukon sang palanan-awon sa kagab-ihon, kag indi na gid siya makita. 9Indi na siya makita sang nakakilala sa iya, kag madula siya sa lugar nga iya anay ginaestaran. 10Ang iya mga anak amo ang magabayad sa mga imol sa iya mga kinawat sa ila. 11Mapatay siya kag ilubong nga bataon kag makusog pa.
12“Ang paghimo sang kalautan pareho sa pagkaon nga matam-is sa iya baba, 13kag ginaugom niya ini sing malawig agod masaboran gid niya. 14Pero pag-abot sini sa iya tiyan mangin mapait ini kag magahilo sa iya pareho sa dalit sang man-og. 15Isuka niya pareho sa pagkaon ang manggad nga iya ginkawat. Bisan ara na ini sa iya tiyan ipasuka ini sang Dios sa iya. 16Magasuyop siya sang dalit sang mga man-og nga amo ang magapatay sa iya. 17Indi na niya matilawan ang bugana nga lana, gatas kag dugos, nga daw sa sapa ukon suba nga nagailig. 18Indi siya makabaton sing balos sa iya pagpangabudlay. Indi siya makapangalipay sa iya manggad. 19Kay ginpigos niya ang mga imol kag ginpabay-an niya sila nga pigado. Gin-agaw niya ang mga balay nga indi iya. 20Wala siya nagakaayawan sa iya pagkadalok. Ang tanan nga magustuhan niya indi makaluwas sa iya. 21Pero wala na sing may mabilin sa iya nga iya makaon, kay ang iya manggad madula. 22Sa iya kabuganaan, magaabot sa iya ang kalisod. Puwerte gid nga pag-antos ang magaabot sa iya. 23Kon mabusog na niya ang iya kaugalingon, ipaagom sang Dios sa iya ang iya puwerte nga kaakig, kag paulanan siya sang silot. 24Bisan makapalagyo man siya sa salsalon nga armas, matuhog gihapon siya sang saway nga pana. 25Matuhog ang iya apdo, kag magalapos ang pana sa iya lawas. Magaabot sa iya ang kahadlok. 26Madula ang iya manggad sa kadudulman. Sunugon siya kag ang tanan nga nabilin sa iya elistaran20:26 elistaran: sa literal, tolda. sang kalayo nga indi tawo ang nagpasiga. 27Ipahayag sang langit ang iya sala kag magasaksi ang duta kontra sa iya. 28Pagaanuron sang baha ang iya balay sa adlaw nga ipaagom sang Dios ang iya kaakig. 29Amo ina ang kapalaran sang malaot nga tawo nga gintalana sang Dios para sa iya.”
