1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4¶ And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. 5And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. 6But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
7¶ For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. 8For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. 9And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.61.10 decketh: Heb. decketh as a priest 11For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Luwason sa Ginoo ang Iyang Katawhan
1Ang Espiritu sa Ginoong Dios ania kanako. Kay gipili niya ako nga mowali sa maayong balita ngadto sa mga kabos. Gipadala niya ako aron sa paglipay sa mga nagmasulob-on ug sa pagmantala ngadto sa mga binihag nga may kagawasan na sila. 2-3Gipadala usab niya ako aron sa pagmantala nga miabot na ang panahon nga luwason sa Ginoo ang iyang katawhan, ug silotan ang ilang mga kaaway. Gipadala usab niya ako aron sa paglipay sa mga nagsubo sa Jerusalem,61:2-3 Jerusalem: sa Hebreo, Zion. aron imbis nga abo ang ibutang nila sa ilang ulo sa pagpaila nga nagsubo sila, korona nga bulak ang ilang ibutang, ug haplasan nilag lana ang ilang ulo sa pagpaila nga malipayon sila. Imbes nga maguol, magadayeg sila. Mahisama sila sa lig-on nga kahoyng terebinto (tugas) nga gitanom sa Ginoo. Tawgon silang mga matarong alang sa kadungganan sa Ginoo. 4Pabarogon nila pag-usab ang ilang mga siyudad nga dugay nang nangaguba. 5Mga katawhan sa Dios, moalagad kaninyo ang mga langyaw. Bantayan nila ang inyong mga kahayopan, ug motrabaho sila sa inyong mga kaumahan ug mga ubasan. 6Tawgon kamong mga pari sa Ginoo, mga alagad sa atong Dios. Busgon kamo sa bahandi sa mga kanasoran, ug ipasigarbo ninyo kini. 7Imbes nga maulawan kamo, madoble pa hinuon ang panalangin nga inyong madawat gikan sa inyong yuta, ug malipay gayod kamo sa inyong madawat. Ang inyong kalipay magapadayon hangtod sa hangtod.
8“Kay ako, ang Ginoo, mahigugmaon sa hustisya. Gikapungtan ko ang pagpangawat ug ang uban pang kadaotan. Tungod sa akong pagkamatinumanon, hatagan kog ganti ang akong katawhan, ug maghimo akog walay kataposan nga kasabotan uban kanila. 9Ang ilang mga kaliwat mahimong inila sa mga kanasoran. Ang tanang makakita kanila moila nga sila katawhan nga akong gipanalanginan.”
10Malipayon gayod ako sa Ginoo nga akong Dios, kay sama ra nga gipabistihan niya ako sa kaluwasan ug kadaogan.61:10 kadaogan: o, pagkamatarong. Sama ako sa pamanhonon nga may matahom nga turban, ug pangasaw-onon nga nagsul-ob ug mga alahas. 11Kay ingon nga ang yuta nagapatubo ug binhi, ang Ginoong Dios nagapatunhay usab sa pagkamatarong, ug dayegon siya sa tanang mga nasod.
