1The burden of Egypt. 11¶ Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? 12Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt. 13The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.19.13 they that…: or, governors: Heb. corners 14The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.19.14 a perverse…: Heb. a spirit of perversities 15Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do. 16In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
18¶ In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.19.18 the language: Heb. the lip19.18 of destruction: or, of Heres, or, of the sun 19In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. 20And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. 21And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it. 22And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23¶ In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. 24In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: 25Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

1Ini nga mensahi parte sa Egipto:
Pamati! Nagasakay ang Ginoo sa panganod kag madasig nga nagapakadto sa Egipto. Sa iya pag-abot, nagakurog sa kahadlok ang mga dios-dios sang Egipto, kag ginakulbaan ang mga Egiptohanon.
2Nagsiling ang Ginoo, “Paawayon ko ang mga Egiptohanon: utod kontra sa utod, kaingod kontra sa kaingod, banwa kontra sa banwa, kag ginharian kontra sa ginharian. 3Madulaan sang kaisog ang mga Egiptohanon, kag pasalahon ko sila sa ila mga plano. Magadangop sila sa mga dios-dios, sa mga kalag sang mga patay, sa mga babaylan kag sa mga espiritista. 4Ipasakop ko sila sa gahom sang isa ka mapintas nga hari.” Amo ini ang ginsiling sang Ginoo, ang Makagagahom nga Ginoo.
5Magahubas ang Suba sang Nilo hasta nga magmala ini. 6Ang mga ginailigan sang suba magalang-og kag magamala. Magakalalaya ang mga matag-as nga mga hilamon, 7pati ang mga tanom sa higad sang Suba sang Nilo. Magabagtik ang tanan nga uma malapit sa Suba sang Nilo, kag magakalamatay ang mga tanom sini. 8Magahibi, magapanalambiton, kag magapalangluya ang mga manugpangisda sa Suba sang Nilo, 9kag magapangasubo ang mga manughimo sang tela nga linen. 10Masubuan gid ang mga manughabol19:10 manughabol: sa English, weaver. kag ang iban pa nga mga trabahador.
11Mga buang-buang ang mga opisyal sang Zoan! Ginakilala sila nga mga pinakamaalam sa mga manuglaygay sang hari sang Egipto, pero ang ila mga ginalaygay wala sing pulos. Paano sila makasiling sa hari sang Egipto,19:11 hari sang Egipto: sa Hebreo, Faraon. “Mga kaliwat kami sang mga maalamon nga mga tawo kag sang mga hari sang una nga panahon.”
12Hari sang Egipto, diin na karon ang imo maalamon nga mga tawo? Kon maalamon gid man sila, pasugira sila kon ano ang plano sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom sa Egipto. 13Mga buang-buang gid man ang mga opisyal sang Zoan, kag ang mga opisyal sang Memfis19:13 Memfis: sa Hebreo, Nof. mga ilintuon. Sila nga mga pangulo amo kuntani ang magatuytoy sa katawhan sang Egipto, pero sila pa ang nagapatalang. 14Daw sa ginapalingin sang Ginoo ang ulo sang mga taga-Egipto. Nagatalang-talang sila sa tanan nila nga ginahimo. Pareho sila sa hubog nga nagaduling-duling kag nagasuluka. 15Wala sing bisan sin-o sa Egipto nga makabulig sang iya nasyon, manggaranon man ukon imol, dungganon man ukon kubos.
16Sa sina nga tion, ang mga Egiptohanon mangin maluya pareho sa babayi. Magakurog sila sa kahadlok sa silot sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom sa ila. 17Mahadlok sila sa Juda, bisan mamitlang lang ang ngalan sini. Matabo ini sa ila tungod sang plano sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom kontra sa ila.
18Sa sina man nga tion, lima ka banwa sang Egipto magasunod sa Ginoo nga Makagagahom, kag magahambal sila sa lingguahe nga Hebreo.19:18 sa lingguahe nga Hebreo: sa Hebreo, sa lingguahe sang Canaan. Ang isa sa sini nga mga banwa pagatawgon, Banwa sang Adlaw.19:18 Banwa sang Adlaw: Amo ini sa kalabanan nga mga kopya sang Hebreo. Sa iban nga mga kopya sang Hebreo kag sa Latin Vulgate, Banwa sang Kalaglagan.
19Sa sina nga tion, patindugon ang isa ka halaran para sa Ginoo sa tunga sang duta sang Egipto, kag patindugon man ang isa ka handumanan nga bato sa dulunan sini. 20Mangin tanda ini kag pamatuod sang presensya sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom sa duta sang Egipto. Kon magpangayo sang bulig ang mga Egiptohanon sa Ginoo tungod nga ginapaantos sila sang mga nagapamigos sa ila, padal-an niya sila sang magaluwas kag magadepensa sa ila. 21Ipakilala sang Ginoo ang iya kaugalingon sa ila, kag sa sina nga tion kilalahon nila ang Ginoo. Simbahon nila siya paagi sa nagkalain-lain nga mga halad. Magapromisa sila sa Ginoo, kag tumanon nila ang ila mga promisa. 22Silutan sang Ginoo ang mga Egiptohanon sang kalalat-an, pero ayuhon niya sila. Magadangop sila sa iya, kag pamatian niya ang ila mga pangamuyo kag ayuhon niya sila.
23Sa sina nga tion, may ara sang malapad nga dalan halin sa Egipto pakadto sa Asiria. Ang mga Egiptohanon kag mga Asirianhon magapakadto-pakari sa Egipto kag sa Asiria, kag magasimba sila sing tingob. 24Sa sina nga tion, magaisa ang Israel sa Egipto kag sa Asiria, kag ining tatlo ka nasyon mangin pagpakamaayo sa kalibutan. 25Bendisyunan sila sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom nga nagasiling, “Ginapakamaayo ko ang Egipto nga akon katawhan, ang Asiria nga akon gintuga, kag ang Israel nga akon ginapanag-iyahan.”
